This is really veryyy lame but I thought I wrote it so I might as well post it anyway we can't ever have too much Rikara right? 😆

Gauri moaned as Omkara kept leaving kisses after kisses on her neck sending shivers down her spine. Her hand grabbed his hair in a tight grip as he bit her.
"Stop it. "She said as she tried to push him away but his grip only tightened his kisses becoming more insistent and when she opened her mouth to chide him he covered it with his own earning another moan from her.
"You know the way you are snogging me it makes me doubt your intentions with me "she said still panting for breath after their last kiss. Omkara chuckled looking at her adoringly.
"I mean I am supposed to be meeting your family today and you're busy kissing me are you sure you don't want them to catch us and make me look bad in front of them" she said looking suspiciously
"Sweetheart we are still a few feet away from my house and trust me Oberois are the most classiest people you'll ever meet they will never walk down so much just to catch us making out" He looked amused.
"Now now! if you think that would put me off from meeting your family then you're wrong " She said playfully tapping his nose
"Okay fine let's go otherwise next you will accuse me of adultery." He shook his head then started the car parking it inside his house a few minutes later.
Gauri looked at the house in utter amazement. Even she was from a well-to-do family, even her parents were rich but Oberois were something else. So much fame, so much money, so much show off.
Omkar came to her side of the gate and offered her his hand. One thing that had automatically attracted Gauri to Omkara was his chivalry. He was down and out a gentleman. She took a long breath as they entered inside.
Omkara had shown her pictures of all his family members so she instantly recognised everyone sitting on the couch and chatting. His was a huge family. A mother, a father, a grandmother, two brothers and two sisters in-laws. Apparently Omkara was the only brother still single in this house.
She took a long shaky breath and Omkara instantly took hold of her hand and pressed it three times to calm her down. That was their way of saying I love you to each other.
As the other people in the room noticed them. The younger Oberois instantly stood up greeting Gauri as if they were not meeting her for the first time. She was surrounded by hugs and some more hugs. She looked at Omkara for help or some kind of clue as to why his family was behaving this way but he stood back looking amused as ever. Something told her he knew this was going to happen.
Gauri lived in a nuclear family with a set of parents who were more focused on earning money than providing their only kid with basic love and attention. So this kind of welcome was overwhelming. God knows even her mother never welcomed her with this much enthusiasm.
"We were waiting for you only" said Anika with a warm smile on her face. Gauri knew this was not a fake one. "I know right? Waise aisa kya kar rahe the aap log? O kahin hanky panky toh nahi na?" Rudra teased them both wiggling his eyebrows suggestively!
Gauri turned a deep shade of tomato at Rudra's suggestion even more so since that was exactly what they were doing.
"Shut up Rudra "Omkara said sounding irritated.
Gauri knew this was his typical reply to all of his brothers antics as she had heard him saying the same thing several times to him in the past on phone.
"Arey unn dono ko pareshan karna band karo. Gauri puttar tu idhar aa mere paas." Gauri looked relieved as she went to sit by the eldest woman in the house but she was in for a surprise when Omkara's dadi too hugged her. Gauri was not used to such open display of affection the only person she was genuinely affectionate to was Omkara and only because they were romantically involved.
" haye kitni sundar kudi dhundi hai mere Om ne." Gauri smiled uneasily as Jhanvi agreed with her.
"Dadi aapko doubt tha apne pote pe." Shivay asked patting his little brother's back.
Everyone smiled and settled down. This is how it went down for the next one hour Rudra would crack silly jokes, Anika and Shivay would try to ask questions dadi and Jhanvi would try to make her feel at home and even Tej would quip in at times.
Omkara was watching it all with a smile. He knew his family would instantly except Gauri they were like that always so excepting and nice. Then his gaze went to Gauri, even though she was smiling and laughing and talking to everyone he could see the uneasiness in her eyes.
He knew Gauri was still inept in matters of the heart. Since she never had anyone who would genuinely love her she had spent most of her life pretty much alone even though surrounded by a lot of people.
She was not feeling nostalgic or sad for herself, she just did not know how to react. Gauri was very positive in her life and that is why she had never let the lack of parents love bring her down. She had her share of friends and she had her share of fun to keep her going and now she even had the love of her life by her side but she knew it will take time for her to get used to so many people showering so much love on her.
Omkar cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. "I think I should show Gauri my room so if you guys will excuse us for sometime?' Omkara said. He knew what was to follow but he had to take Gauri away from all of them so that she could relax a little.
No doubt a series of teasing comments did follow but it was all worth it when Omkara saw Gauri taking a little sigh of relief unnoticed by the others.
As soon as they entered his room Omkara instantly shut the door and a second later Gauri hugged him rather tightly sighing again against my boyfriend's chest.
"What's wrong? "Omkara asked even though he knew because he wanted her to let it out.
"It's too much" Gauri whispered almost inaudible scared that he would get tired. Gauri knew she was not the perfect wife material. She got awkward around her friends parents always avoiding going to family dinners and even her relatives.
She wanted to wriggle out of this one too but she knew Omkara had been dying to introduce her to his family. Earlier they were trying to play as if it was the other way round. As if Gauri was dying to meet his family and Omkara was the one who was prolonging it as he wanted to make out with her. In reality it was Gauri was wanted to forget what was to happen and Omkara was just trying to make her feel relaxed.
"What is?" He asked as he put a finger under her chin forcing her to look up. Tears welled up in her eyes. Why was she so abnormal? Why can't she like others be happy when she was finally getting attention and love?
'This! This attention..your family..everything' she said fumbling for words. She didn't know how to explain herself without hurting him. He was so excited about introducing her to his family and she ruined it!
Omkara cupped her face in both his hands wiping the dropping tears with his thumb.
'I don't know how you feel but I know that once you get used to it you'll love my family.' He said with conviction
'I..I don't have a problem with your family it's just I'm not used to..' she started to clear out when Omkara interrupted
'I know..you don't have to justify anything.' He said hugging her
'They f**ked me up real nice didn't they?' Gauri asked followed by a hollow chuckle that pierced through his heart. He knows Gauri is insecure when it comes to relationships and she blames her parents for that and rightfully so.
His heart hurts for the little girl who must have looked up at her parents with hopeful eyes and got shot down every time because they had no time for her until...until one day she didn't instead stealing her heart to all those emotions.
'No they didn't..you love me don't you?' He asked looking at her with a smile.
'Yes but what about others?' Gauri asked a little agitated. Why does he has to be so understanding? Why the hell he doesn't complain?
'What about them? My family will be more than happy to welcome a girl who loves me with everything she has. And you don't have to love them right now. We have our whole lives for that. You'll love them one day.' He assured her
'And if I don't' Gauri asked challengingly
'Then just keep seducing me every night and I won't remember my family.' Omkara said with a straight up but then Gauri giggled and they both burst into laughter.
Just then someone knocked on the door and Omkara opened it. Rudra, Shivay, Anika and Bhavya entered the room and Gauri instantly cleaned her face of the few remaining tears.
'Kya O matlab bare budhe (elders) neeche bethe hain aur aap hoki lage pade ho chote O banane meh.' Omkara just rolled his eyes at Rudy's blabber while Shivay went to Gauri noticing her red eyes.
'What happened? Did my brother make you cry?' He asked sternly looking at Omkara
Omkara let out an exasperated sigh at Shivay as if saying you too?
'No no I just it's nothing really.' Gauri said not knowing what reason to give.
'It's okay if you don't want to tell but just remember tumhara bada bhai hai ab agar ye ghadha tumhe pareshan kare toh mujhe aake bata dena mai kaan kheech dunga iske.' He said tapping her nose with the tip of his forefinger.
Gauri let out a chuckle and Omkara knew this one was genuine.
'Haan aur agar Shivay tumhe pareshan kare toh mere paas aajana.' Anika said with a wink causing Shivay to whisper 'childish' under his breath
'Aap tension mat leejiye Om ko toh mai sambhal he lungi aur bade bhaiya ko aap sambhal lena.' Gauri said with a naughty smile
Omkara smiled at the 'bade bhaiya' understanding that Gauri was already starting to accept his family. Just then their eyes met and he could see her eyes shining with a sheen of tears and mouthing a thanku. He just shook his head as if saying 'it's your family too'
