Shivika OS- "Saath"
"Check!" Surrounded a shrill voice in the room.
Veer turned in the direction of the voice. He saw him smirk." Mate!" He conpleted, as from behind him emerged his wife.
She slipped her hand into his, her eyes looking at her husband.
While he pulled up her hand close to his heart, his eyes still fixed on Veer.
"Surprised? Meet Mrs. Shivaay Singh Oberoi!" She spoke every word with rightly measured Tadi that matched his.
His head straightened up with pride, he knew her eyes were still on him. His own were dying to drink every bit of her feature.
"This can't be! You killed her!" Veer shouted. He was held back by the police officers.
"You attempted to kill me!" She spat glaring at him. "Not a word against my husband. I have seen enough of those news reporters do it. I won't tolerate anymore."
He looked at her from the corner of his eyes. His muscles relaxing. He was tired batting for everything all alone in her absence. Their plan had worked and Anika had trapped Veer, while Veer tried to sabotage Shivaay!
Only now he undersood what she meant, when she told him he needs her "saath" . He felt bad for not sharing with her small things even when she pleaded him to do it. He understood now, how much that meant. The past few days had drained him mentally, physically but more than that emotionally. Living without her presence was a battle every minute, he had fought. He was tired of it all. But , she was there for him as always, no matter what. He had been living in a terrible pain. Plan was made but the pain wasn't accounted. Pain of being away from her, pain of the loneliness, pain of being declared an unfaithful husband by the world, pain of living that dreadful moment every second. The shot echoing in his ears. He had almost collapsed after that gunshot. Had it not been her who had pressed his palm gently then to push him to act in accordance with the plan he would have lost. Even then she was by him. But the feeling that had seeped in into his heart in the past few minutes was unbeatable. There stood his wife before him, speaking for him, protecting him.
He was reminded of that day when his Jhansi Ki Rani had first stood for him like a wall. The Gaytri Murder Case! The way she had come out of no where and held his hand firmly, taking all that on herself to protect him.
She had always been like that. Always giving up everything she had earned and called hers for his sake. There was that day where she named her self-respect on him.
Then there was that day when she ran like a maniac, to take the bullet that was meant for him. He remembered how she had stood before him that night when the commandos were taking him away mistaking him for his lookalike. Her arms outstretched, her heart blocking his, her palms holding his tightly. They seemed to be reassuring him that nothing could harm him until she was with him. Later that night when she fell in his arm, the bullet having hit her near the shoulder, she had smiled. The words she had said the day he had shot her came to his mind, "Anika maregi toh Shivaay ki baahon mein maregi!" A pain rose in his heart as he realised, that day she was willing to die in his arms if death knocked her door. Because she was in his arms!
Tears shone in his eyes. How could she love him so much? He would scold her, reprimand her, fight with her, she would be in troubles because of him and still she continued to love him selflessly. She would have never loved her self that much as much as she loved him!
He was brought out of his thoughts by her whisper. "Shivaay!"
She rubbed her hand on the lapels of his coat. Tears glimmering in her eyes as well. He looked around. How long had he been lost? There was a Veer being dragged away by the police, while OmRu were helping the reporters find their way out of the mansion.
He looked back at her, his lips slightly parted, he wanted to scream and cry. He felt broken by it all. She dint had to be told. She wrapped her arms around him, engulfing him. Pulling him closer to herself she kissed his shoulder.
"I m back Shivaay!"
In a way she reassured him, that everything would be back to normal as well
That night he dint speak a word, but she heard the unspoken, as he held her close and cried his heart out.
She knew he was struck bad by the events, but she was by him. While he sobbed his heart out, at times whispering his fears to her, she gently kissed him hugging him tight. For sometimes the aftermath was worse than the nightmare. She had known it too well.
She was by him to heal him, to comfort him. That was enough.
Sometimes all that was need was "saath".

Disappointed by yesterday's episode, I am waiting for Shivika to be back with the epitome of intensity!
I love making Shivaay break things and love breaking him too! :(
