"Bhabhi kal aap mujhe lunch mein rajma chawal pack karke dena ... kal main apne classmates ke saath library jaa raha hu poora din wahi rahunga. Rudra said to Gauri as she serve some more rice on his dinner plate.
"Achha theek hai Rudra ... hum khana pack kardenge aur saath mein chhass bhi rakh denge ... lekin abhi tum khana finish Karo aur apne room mein chale jaao ... tumhaare bhaiiyaa abhi abhi office se aaye hai aur ...
"Oh ... baadal garjenge ya toofan aaega? Rudra asked concentrating on Gauri's expressions.
"Pata nahi ... lekin mausam ka haal bohot kharaab hai aaj.
"Fikar not bhabhi ... O aapko dekhenge aur unki saare din ki thakaan chhu mantar ho jaaegi. Rudra reassured.
Gauri walked into their room and saw Omkara scribbling somethings in a notebook.
"Khana lagaaun? She asked carefully.
He had still not changed his clothes ... busy with writing ... and again his phone rang.
Gauri sighed helplessly. She swore to her god ... no woman should marry a workoholic. She knew that now that he has not freshened up and eaten he is going to behave like a cranky child.
She massaged the kneaded flour and rolled the chapatis when he called for her. She knew that tone ... it was Volcano Kara ...
"Where is my green file? I had kept it in the side table drawer! Why do you guys even touch my things ... everything is so impposible in this house ... jab koi cheez chahiye hoti hai ... tab woh milti hi nahi hai ... you are so careless Gauri! He almost yelled.
She kept staring at him and let him rant for two whole minutes and then walked to the same side table and took out his green file which was just hidden under two books and kept it near his laptop.
"Aap jaldi se fresh ho jaaiye ... hum khana lagaate hai. She said and left him alone.
He kept looking at the file for some time and then walked to the cupboard to take out his T shirt and pyjama.
He freshened up and went to the dining table where she was serving their plates.
"Rudra be khana kha liya? He asked taking his seat.
"Haan.
"Uski exams ka time table aa gaya? Omkara questioned pouring the glasses of water.
"Agle hafte se hai aur project submission do din baad. Gauri said sitting beside him.
He looked at her for a while and held her hand across the plate to press her palm.
"Sara din beet gaya ... thakaan ho gayi hogi aapko ... bhukh bhi lagi hogi naa ... khana khaa lijiye. She smiled.
"Mirchi ka achaar laakar do naa...
