A few things I wanted to say after watching today's episode:
4. Just because he's THE SSO... : ...does not mean he can't have his own share of pain, cries, guilt, shame, and face failure. He's a human and not God to face everything with victory at every step of his life. Shivay Singh Oberoi will have his low times as well but yes, what we expect from SSO is him rising up and high regardless, and conquer the obstacles with the support of his better half. These are essential factors to grow the sealed beast of SSO to eliminate the existence of the person who dared to cast an evil eye upon his family. This is how we would know yet once again WHO SSO really is, and WHAT aspects should be taken care of from the enemy's side if she really wants to win 'cause after today's episode, the kind of determination I have seen in those 'Kanji Ankhein' screamed nothing but the vow to destroy the storm called Svetlana.
1. Shivay asking anika to stay back at OM: This was not only because he wanted her to take care of his family, to gather the remaining pieces of Dadi, OmRu together while he's away. Yes, he knows, that after him, it is ONLY anika who has the power to hold everyone together so the family doesn't shatter, because of the strong and independent woman she has proven to always be at every step of her life.
But how is it that we fail to see the ultimate reason behind his decision? If he really wanted her to stay back to take care of his family, he would have had his way out to make her do so. He might have started off with "you need to be strong to take care of his family", because he didn't want to give her a chance to even bring up the topic of leaving OM with him. He knows in and out about Anika, and what she wants to say, even before she starts speaking. He was confident and in fact, prepared for Anika to decide to leave with him, but he didn't want her to. And this is all because of her safety and her right to be away form all the sufferings when she had done nothing. He doesn't want her to walk through hell along with him, especially when he has absolutely nothing with him to give her - No shelter, no money.
"Ziddi ho tum!", he spat, frustrated. He knew very well at that point there's no point in arguing with his stubborn wife, There's just one way out with it which is to walk out of the mansion ALONG with her.
It was the protective husband speaking, who was petrified about having his wife living a deprived life (yet again), away from family, love and affection and most importantly snatching away the privileged life he had promised her to give.
I saw nothing but Guilt, agony, and frustration for not being able to control the situation in his own way (by making her stay back and give her what she deserves)
2. The Key drama : Undoubtedly, was OTT. but the scene that followed just showed how significant that "OTT" drama was between the two Oberois Daughter in laws. The two bahus kept fighting for the key, never giving two hoots about how the internal fights must be affecting others, especially dadi. Her age is so delicate that anything can happen from the tension in the atmosphere, yet deaf ear was given to her cries and pleas.
The key falls in shivay's hand. He walks to dadi and places it beside her feet where it rightfully deserves to be. The main person gives the key to the head of the family to keep it secured because to him, neither Pinky nor Jhanvi is worthy of the responsibility after Anika and it should go back to the ultimate owner until SHE sees someone eligible to take the keys. And this should only go to someone who will be the savior of the family, just like Anika and he had been all this while...until then, it should remain with Dadi.
3. Do we really think this man is walking out of oberoi mansion with a weak heart and a defeated soul?: Yes he broke down, yes he admitted that he has lost, and yes he said he couldn't hold the family together. So? Do we really think he doesn't have any intention to strike back at the right spot and at the right time?
He cried like a baby today in Dadi's lap, "aapka billu har gaya dadi..." but what followed after? A firm kiss on her head and eyes full of resolution
He is appearing weak, and shattered, and the reason being that he will be away from his family till god knows how long. But does that mean he will just leave his family behind for Svet to diminish? huh you wish!
