Thank you for this post! God knows that these two deserve truckloads of appreciation for how far they've come, in the past year and a half.
TBH, initially I was never big on NarBhi, or any of the actors for the matter - the ensemble cast brought me in. But you know what they say, I came for the concept, I stayed for NarBhi. Literally the most humble, hard-working and sweet actors that I have seen in the industry.Especially Surbhi; I have never seen an IV of hers where she has expressed any arrogance or entitlement, when the establishment of the show has pretty much been on her and Nakuul's shoulders. I think she deserved Best Actress far earlier than when she did get appreciated, but I'm so incredibly happy that she won big this year. And this is Nakuul's fourth Best Actor award this year, and I think its amazing that he's been acknowledged for Ishqbaaaz so illustriously, when he was on a show for five years on SP, and didn't get the appreciation that he deserved.These two will always be the face of IB, no matter what anyone says, and I'm so happy and proud that they are finally getting the due that they deserve. So freaking proud 😃
Word! I think that's ended up being the story for a lot of us...sometimes it's insane when you try and wrap your mind around all the craziness we've survived in this show...random spin off, then random merger and one hour epis...lol and here we are all still standing 1.5 years later with BRAND Shivika holding strong👏👏😆
SC absolutely deserved Best Actress since way back but despite the delay, this is still sweet validation...and NM has truly come into his own with this show so I think the acknowledgement is probably that much sweet for him now too...he's worked harder for this role and the hard work has paid off.
Word on these two being the face of the show and such a class act they've been about it...anyone can see at a glance that the majority of the audience associates and connects with the show cuz of these two but they always take everyone with them, promote it as a team effort...makes me respect them all the more for it👏
