I don't think you understand what it is that Rikara fans are upset about. No one's upset that Shivika gets their allotted screen space or that they have a fandom. We are upset at the CVs for not giving Rikara any storyline.
Look a lot of us didn't watch Ishqbaaz in the first place. We came on for DBO. When that was ended they should have either had the decency to give the couple closure in DBO or give them a proper storyline in IB instead of making them stand about like forgotten pieces of furniture and turning them into Yes-men.How hard is it to give a few minutes to one couple in a 22 min show?? Instead they choose to waste all that time on random tracks whilst giving importance only to the storyline of one couple.
You argue about SS. But whenever they have shown the Obros and Obahus in the last week, you cannot deny that the story has revolved around Shivika while the other two Obros and Obahus have been turned into into clones of them. If this was the case then the makers should have ended Rikara track properly in DBO instead of luring us in with false promises and now trying to force us to watch things we didn't ask for while entirely ignoring what we do ask for.
You are a Shivika fan. How would you feel if IB was entirely devoted to some other couple while giving you a random two-second Shivika scene once or twice a week?
Another show of Gul's recently ended. But the couple got closure at the end. She and her team should have had the decency to give us that closure in DBO if all they had intended to do with the Rikara was turn them into hype-men. We would have watched that, enjoyed it and moved on.
All I will say finally is that the Bareilly track garnered a TRP of 1.9. Yes the story was Rikara centric but there was a pretty solid Shivika track on Anika's insecurities.Despite it being a Rikara confession week Rikara fans were not only cool with that , we encouraged it. SS needs to be divided equally.
TRP's tend to go high when fandoms come together. And fandoms come together when each couple has a solid storyline and fairly equal screen space.
