It is a rant post...

Is IB making any sense any more??

Let me be honest, I started watching IB for Shivika. The intense chemistry, my love for Jane Austen type stories more so like the Pride and Prejudice, the awesome setup and beautiful actors who portray Shivika were some of the factors that compelled me to watch IB. It was after a looong time that I got hooked to a TV series.

That was almost a year back.

Now this IB is not even the shadow of the older one. Lot of inconsistencies in the story line and in the characters has made it loose its uniqueness.

After the beautiful progression of both Shivaay and Anika to the unnecessary forced separation the story seems to be on a downhill.

I can just recollect that before the separation, specifically during the engagement, Shivaay was all lovey dovey with his wife, wanted to take his marriage forward to a more physical way. He was demanding for the Ist night, made elaborate plans.

He was also very impatient during the grand wedding rituals. Now after their so called graaand wedding, he is so patient a a sage?? With statements like 'sabra ka phal meetha hota hai'??? even the family is so dense that they are not bothered??

When he was kidnapped during the Mahi track, when he first meets Anika, he hugs he as if a man parched. Now this 15 days of separation, that too immediately after your wedding, you come back and have this fake ML drama and not as much as 'I missed you'??

So much of inconsistency. Yesterday's fight again was inconsistent. Did not get the purpose of it? Was it for Anika to voice the viewer's concern or to show that SSO is still insensitive and clueless about Anika's feelings???

Dont enjoy IB as I used to do initially. Is it time to pull the plug???

Hi there,

If it helps Ib is now going to half hour again and people are saying the storyline will change again to cater "screenspace" for all three leads. Now they are doing an outdoor shoot, if it still doesnt change after all that then do what u feel is right.

I wouldn't say time to pull the plug, but I will definitely say time for Harneet n writers co to take a break!

Because clearly they can't deliver anymore! Why not take a break and come back refreshed with better tracks!

They are doing so much damage to the whole show on overall now.and the trps are here to prove it🥱

People initially were afraid that a new writer will destroy SSO, but clearly harneet herself has already destroyed SSO's characterisation since long now, so basically it doesn't make much difference now! At least new writers will give better tracks than the same repeat ghisa-pita tracks we are getting currently

It is as if they don't know what should they show next.

Characters and plots are added without any real thought. Just like Rudy was turned to Rudra Shingh Oberoi... I mean what does he do? How did he become a fashion designer?? what is he doing??? that too over night???

The story has potential to show more but unfortunately writers don't have capability or refuse to think beyond their ghisa phita tracks. The downhill started from separation track itself but merger killed it all. In lieu to fit in all characters they made kichidi of Shivika - unnecessary interventions of characters in their reunion track and random comedy with them all. Simple q to CVs why not now Shivika intervene in Rikara separation as they forced them in SHviika;s ? pheww They took away the angst and pain during the track..n made them nothing but a joker couple. I don't watch the show for any other couples so slowly in withdrawal mode..I bet nothing will change in 30 mins show. So I would say instead of making joke out of Shivika, let them be in background and other couples lead the show.

i agree so much of other couples intervention in shivika track butchered shivika and now shivika don't even know what's happening in the other two lives. Why so much of unnecessary intervention of others in shivika story, so much of intervention that shivika is reduced to a mere spectator in their own track. I will take shivika as wallposters and other leading show if this the way CVS keeping on making others intervien in shivika story. A beautiful wallpaper is way better than reducing shivika to a mere spectators in their own tracks to accommodate other couples and cast

besides ShivIka aur bhi hai rant karne liyak ?? 😆😆 The other couples are not even getting a proper storyline poor things ... how can one even rant about RiKara and RuvYa

Poor Om is doing a reboot of Maan and poor Ru is doing a reboot of original ASR. With what they have been dished out as an after thought by the obsessed writer woh bechare kar bhi kya saktey hai aur
