Homework

He slowly tip-toed inside the room and placed the notebook in his hand rightly where he had picked it up from, and made his way back.

A few minutes later another Junior Oberoi followed a similar drill and placed another notebook on top of the pile and silently walked out.

A couple of minutes later the walls of the room witnessed another Oberoi practice the same old drill.
And a third notebook made its way to the top of the pile.

The next evening as all the three Junior Oberois sat chit-chatting, entered a miserable little healthy young boy.

The trio looked at each other and frowned.

"What happened Ruddy? the trio sang in unison.

The little boy though not literally little, squeezed his eyes looking at them analytically.

"I did the same Homework in three different books. Though I really din't do it. So the teacher ..

"oh No. gasped the three in unison. While Rudra looked on baffled.

His siblings had done his homework, each one of them.

They looked at him hiding their smiles.

"No point smiling. None of you did it in the right book!

The three frowned, but a minute later there were giggles echoing in the room as Rudra had taken the three of them in a hug.

"I love You Three

"We Love You too, Dumbell! Sighed the others in mirth.
