Gauri was comfortable in her own skin. Yes, pinky taunted her, and there were minor hints of insecurity but 'I am what I am, if you think I am less than you, then so be it' is GKS's swagger wala attitude.

Om never cared for superficial stuff such as upbringing, background or lineage. He was all heart, who only sees a person's Character.

Also getting educated doesn't mean you have to change your nature ... Qe want same bubbly gauri but educated and more confident ... Its not butchering of a character its a progress of a character ... Its like adding some new shades to it...

I have a lot of friends from Mumbai who prefer English, and speak okay Hindi. I did not change myself to fit in the group, and neither did they change themselves. We friends get along pretty much with our differences.

Did Om start singing bhajans to fit in Gauri's world? NO. Then why should Gauri groom herself for him?

I ask all the girls here one thing. Would you girls change yourself for the boy you like? No! Then why should Gauri change??? I don't know who is more regressive here, girls who will change for boys or Gauri who left for Pune because Om did not give the relationship the dignity it deserved.

Changing herself so that Om accepts her is against Gauri's basic character trait. Gauri does not believe in imposing herself on anyone.

If fans wanted Om to be paired opposite an educated and 'polished' girl, then Riddhima was good enough for Om. Don't you think?

P.S. I want an education track, but not now. Later and because Gauri herself wants to do it, not to 'fit in' or impress Om. Ugh! The very thought 🤢
