I do hope we are not going to be disappointed again after the hope has been built up in the Pre Cap that we have 'Our Shivvay' back.
Here is hoping that there is no flip again by the writer.
He is back and resurrected it seems from the ashes of the foolish reboot game that was being played by the writer.
And this is exactly what I had wanted the writer to wrap her head around all these day that she led us through this wild goose of a reboot' phase, that she royally tortured us with. This is the real character of Shivvay Singh Oberoi - The Brain, The Strategist and The Shrewd Businessman. He does not go about getting the truth the way he was during the past few episodes, he draws it out by using chess moves.
I completely get his fear and his wariness about wanting to know why she left but what I had issues with is the way he was going about it thanks to the sloppy writing. He was shown less intelligent than a young college student (Rudy) in his approach to the problem so much so that poor Om looked like the Badey Bhaiya' for a few episodes there compared to him.
This is what I would have expected SSO to do, to get the truth out of her or anyone else, in the first place. I would have used every trick in the book and every sneaky plan to flush out whatever it is that she is hiding. He would have kept her closer to him, not pushed her farther away, and would have appealed to her fiercely protective side in order to get to the truth that she refuses to tell him out right.
He would watch her every move and every interaction with all (except his siblings and their partners) like a hawk. He would build that trust and relationship back again to the level where she lets her guard down with him and starts to slip up, thinking that he has let the matter rest. He would have made her feel more secure in the knowledge that he will hold on to her not let her leave again like she did the last time no matter what.
All the hints that she has given him point to pressure and blackmail. She made it very clear it was a difficult and hard decision that she had to make when she left him. So he knows that it was not something she willingly did. She has admitted to her mistake that she was wrong in making a decision that should have been made by them both. So he knows that it definitely involves him. She has said that who he is does not matter to her. So he knows it is a secret that involves who and what he is. And most importantly he knows that it was a sacrifice she made for him, thanks to Tia. So he knows that she will never tell him outright no matter how many times he asks nicely or threatens her with stuff.
Only option left is to use the SSO strategies that a businessman would use to get his information from a person, unwilling to divulge such things willingly, but without using brute force.
