Okay I am back!! First of, HOW did you all manage to sit through all that crap? 😆 And THIS was the MUCH shorter version? THIS? What were the CVs thinking? If we can actually make them all sit through this whole drag-fest then maybe, maybe they will forget the whole separation fiasco that we single handedly pulled out of a bloody magician's hat? In Annika's language..."Na aav dekha na tav...bas [seperation] pakad lia"...KUCH BHI 😆
But anyway, apart from the SLOW pace, there really were some saving graces. AY, the kitchen scene really was sweet. Ek toh, Billu in pastel blue is a treat...and then all that adorable nuances that makes them... THEM... the way she hesitated to grab his arm... the return of 'paani fear' 😆 and both of them FINALLY having a conversation.
Second, the progression of Aww moment into a Crawl moment... somehow I have a feeling all this might just end with him really on his knee asking her to come back in his life (come back in his life because I am still confused whether they are really divorced or not? 😆😆)
Third, I HAVE to appreciate the coolness with which SSO continued dismissing Ragini on her face 🤣 LOOP - Annika - Anger - Tadi - Ragini - SENSE - dismissal - Annika - LOOP
When SSO went like - "Hum aise hi hai.." or something I was like "WE KNOW, Billu... We know." 😆
And then the final SSO-style expose 😆
LOVED how everyone just calmly lets the rants get done... give their individual reaction expressions and then promptly continues to be in the same silent zone. 😆
Fourth, jealous SSO 😆
I honestly think this actor was selected ONLY for his height... It was too good an opportunity to let slide.. and they have always made so much fun of SSO's height that it HAD to be included man... just had to. Apart from today's scene where he goes in his Billu mode with "shut up shut up...just shut up" 🤣 [Mera Billu 🤗]... I also liked that scene where Billu is in half SSO..half Billu mode with Rudy and talking in Annika's language..." my foot...my chandni...chamki...whatever Annika says" 😆just after Vikram's entry.
Under all of it...I genuinely felt so much vulnerability in him there...it's subtle but its there. And it's beautiful.
Fifth, Annika's unsaid and voiced out emotions.. also vulnerable/ tangible underlying fear beneath the masks of both faith and 'tadi'. As I write this, I am just thinking...in context of love, isn't it a truth, that where there is faith there has to be fear. It can take any form..insecurities...petty fights..but more than that [and while I have huge problems with her not actually coming up and clearing the 'truth' once and for all with SSO himself..]...they have surprisingly stayed consistent [this week 🤔] with the reason why she wants to obliterate the 'truth''s existence: to save him that heartbreak. So whilst she has faith in HIM for herself and their relationship...she has a two-fold fear...the truth coming out (and inevitably being the reason for his heartbreak) and two having already pushed him a little too far.
And honestly, it's not really a baseless fear. BOTH these scenarios are real. His own NKK is a big deal for him [not more than her...but does/doesn't she realise this after all of this is another mystery 🤔] and she has pushed him a little too far this time. I remember writing this before...she used what she probably alone knows about him to 'play him'. Her reasons might be both heartbreakingly beautiful or downright ignorant...doesn't change the fact that she did all of it. And there is thus this fear (which didn't exist before) that maybe... just maybe there are certain things that you don't get to go back from. All of this... the vulnerability in her voice yesterday in both scenes with Shivaay and Gauri... this is what I got from it all.
Sixth, Pinky is a written off character in the story. All that crap about arcs and stuff... yeah that only applies in context of the same character. As far as I am concerned, this Pinky from pre-separation drama...yeah..sorry..she doesn't fit that bill anymore.
Seventh, SSO - Gauri and Annika - Gauri scenes yesterday... Both relationships seem to have (though all of this in hindsight feels a little too fast?) grown...their words about their POVs was a breath of fresh air after the whole slow burn.
Uff...this is way longer than I had anticipated and I can still go on... 😆
Apologies if some of these ramblings seem scattered and well - all jumbled... I am slightly distraught from lack of sleep myself 😆
PS: AY, amazing GIFs as usual!! My favourite has to be Billu in his Billu element saying - "shut up..shut up..just shut up..." 😆❤️🤗
Also, endearing to notice how fast the tadi is stripped down once either of them are in some sort of actual problem. ❤️
