Omkaras Jealousy versus Hatred

To me he referred to Gauri and Gauri only. Om still is confused about what is in his heart and what Gauri is to him.It is a known fact that Om is attracted to her way from the beginning. He has had multiple feelings towards her. Initially it was hate versus attraction. Then as Chulbul she won his heart.As Chulbul he had formed a soul connect with her. Oms " tum jaise Aurat" always had 2 issues in the core. One seeing parallels in Gauri and Svetlana regarding them being home breakers and the other that he is being attracted to a woman whom he despised. Once he was in denial mode. But now he has opened the doors to his heart. When he says " kisi apne par" it's Gauri he refers to . The words come from his soul. He has not yet realised it. It came unknowingly. Even Om didn't realise it that he is referring to Gauri. After realising that Chulbul is Gauri, he had to fight his attraction. In the midst was Kali Thakur whose nazar was set on Gauri. Om has seen it. What he has never realised is that Gauri's nazar never deviated towards Kali.To him Kali is his most hated opponent. By today's episode and his "kisi apne par " dialogue Om now reveals to us that one of the biggest emotions he had to fight against was this jealousy. All these days it was never hatred that he had for Gauri. It was this destructive emotion called jealousy which clawed his insides , which made him resent her, push her away. Today I understand that my Om never hated Gauri. His soul has desired her fiercely but the ugly green monster in his brain only saw that Kali had his eyes on her. He had insulted Gauri a thousand times by calling her a gold digger. But what pained him was not the fact that she was a gold digger but the fact that she had chosen Kali Thakur, that she reciprocated what Kali felt for her.

Our Om has never changed character. He is the old Om. But when confronted with a new situation that is jealousy which he had never experienced until he met Gauri ( and Kali) , he had to express it which we mistook for hatred. It is jealousy that burned him and Dandi Bhaiyya has managed to pour some much needed water over it( for the time being) . And now he wants his Gauri to acknowledge the fact that he has felt that emotion which made his life a hell, which promptly made him tell her that "kisi apne par nazar " dialogue.

If Harneet really thinks like this, the whole Oms character being bashed can be countered with this explanation of jealousy, and give us good funny moments in future. ( Unlike the ones we have got till now).

2. I didn't get your funny moments vala part, please explain? 'cos I thought whatever little funny moments Rikara had (like Chulkara, saas v/s sauce, etc were quite funny). So, I'm confused 🤔

Thank u for the appreciation. Oh I HV loved all their funny scenes. By that sentence I meant that until now Oms jealousy gave us scenes of him pushing Gauri away. And that in future we need him getting close to her by giving us a real funny jealouskara.

But I am wishing to get more n more rikara like never before intense and angst 😳

Every ones perspective differs .I respect yours dear. Maybe sincce I meander my mind too much into Om and Gauri's world I feel so. Every time I see them together, there intensity burns a stamp on my heart. I ve never seen another couple emote with their eyes this much. So I try to read between the invisible lines. I go in search for their intense wala pyaar and often I have felt it, sensed it, lived it. 2day I got it from Om. Yeah hope that Harneet will serve us our minds desire.

And I agree with each and every word of yours.

With RiKara, you have to read a lot between the lines. Esp with Om. Because he is intense and deep, feels too much but talks about it less, his eyes are the only windows to his soul. To what he feels.

With Omkara and RiKara both, you have to look behind the surface, look beyond the horizon to understand them, to understand where they are coming from.
