Part Fourteen

Annika smiled at Shivaay as he slept holding her close to himself. She stroked his hair and traced his features with her nimble fingers.

He frowned a bit in his sleep, before she found herself suddenly pressed into the mattress of their hotel suite in Rome.

She gasped up at his grinning face.

"Good morning Paanika, he beamed down at her.

" Shivaay you got me! Aap bhi na!, she hissed.

He leaned in to kiss her.

When he leaned slightly back, he started tracing her flat stomach. She reddened but also wondered if he too wanted something she had started to think about the past few days.

"Shivaay?

"Yeah Annika.

She paused for a moment as he traced her curves.

" Aap ko mere saath baache chaiye hain?, she asked nervously.

He held her hands and started playing with her fingers.

" Of course Annika, but let's enjoy what this is for now. When it happens, you have to eat right and sleep on time. I will love you and our future children more than anything in this world, he declared.

She became teary eyed.

"Itna pyaar mujhe ne pata ki koi kar sakta hai mujhe, she replied.

" Vishwas karlo Mrs. Shivaay Singh Oberoi, you deserve so much love, I will never let you feel otherwise, he declared.

They would fly back to India later that evening. They had brunch and walked around Rome for a few hours before returning to prepare for their flight.

Unknown to Annika, Shivaay couldn't wait for his own children. He wanted to give them a well balanced life, he knew nothing would be perfect, but he hoped his kids grew up to be happier than he and his own siblings were.

They returned to India early morning. Shivaay and Annika held hands and walked together outside the airport. They hoped media would not stop them. They lucked out as Khaana found them a route that was clear.

The couple thanked him and greeted Dadi once they got home.

"Kaisa ra honeymoon?, she asked knowingly.

Annika blushed. She took Dadi's blessings and headed off to their room.

Shivaay chuckled at her retreating figure.

Dadi pulled his ear.

" I hope you didn't bother my bahu too much. Go rest and come down for breakfast in a few hours. I hope you both did some sightseeing, she joked.

He nodded and cleared his throat before excusing himself.

Shivaay grabbed Annika by surprise and kissed her nape.

"Why don't you relax, we can unpack later, he said.

"Haan lekin agar mujhe abhi karna hai, phir main aram kar sakti hoon, she stated.

He decided to join her.

"Toh aaj khana me kya khana hai?, he asked.

"Kuch light sa. Europe had some strange food, I want something Desi and light, maybe poha, she declared.

"Theek hai, I will tell Gauri to oversee that. Chalo we unpacked, let's chill for a bit, he stated.

She raised her eyebrows at him. He said chill.

She merely smiled. They ended up sitting by the pool. Later she got him to have poha with her and he got her to try green tea again.

Tomorrow they would go back to their duties at home and at work. Annika wanted to some work as well until she had a baby.

"Main sochre thi ki main bhi kaam pe lag jao, she stated.

"Kya karna chahti ho?, he asked.

"Event planning? I have learned a few dishes from you, I can make it a great business plan, she declared.

"Haan, I will talk to Mishra about setting up an office for you, he stated absent mindedly.

" Nahin main khud kar lungi, she insisted.

"Annika!

"Bhagad Billa!

Splash!

"Shivaay kyun kiya aap ne?

"Tum meri baat kabhi nahin manti, he declared.

He came into the pool and bent her arm around her.

" Hum saathi hai. Saath mil ke kaam kyun nahi karte?, he suggested.

" Mujhe khud se kuch karna hai, she retorted.

" Why should you struggle and build a business by scratch?, he asked.

" Kyunki mujhe maaza aata hain, she replied.

"Then let's make a comprise. Ghar ka koi tumara saath dega, he declared.

"I nominate Gauri, woh meri behn aur meri devarani bhi hai, she retorted.

"Ok done, he said releasing her.

No problem! I have been busy myself hence delays in updates. I am always surprised when someone likes my work, especially when I try to write romance, I have had my heart broken but never mended by anyone before. What I mean is I have never fallen in love , but when I watched Saathiya before I started this story, I knew I needed to pen down a story with Shivika and what could have happened with the main leads of the movie with a Ishqbaaz theme of course. Glad you liked the story!

Part Fifteen- As it should be

Time passed and it brought many changes to the Oberoi household. Several tiffins would be ready by 8am each morning. The family grew and with it many dreams finally came true.

Annika and Shivaay had now been married for five years from their second wedding. They now celebrated with the family for that anniversary. As for the first wedding they had, they would quietly remincense how far they had come from that fateful day. It was after their first wedding anniversary that they had conceived the twins who were now turning four.

Ansh and Shivani were the sweethearts of the family. Of course the children born after them were quite loved as well too. Omkara and Gauri took sometime to grow together and independently. Gauri became an interior decorator and Omkara wanted to give her time to be happy developing her career.

They had a daughter named Jeevika who was now three. They were contemplating on a second child, but were happy with their beautiful daughter.

Rudra ended up being the Chote Papa and official stay at home father to the children. Bhavya and him had been blessed with a little boy who was now learning to walk and getting into trouble. His name was Rihaan. Bhavya had just recently gone back to work full time after making sure her child like husband would be able to handle all the children, especially their child at home.

Rudra stopped Bhavya and straightened her collar her first day back at work after several months.

" Relax, tum world ke best husband ki biwi ho, aur Rihaan ki best mommy ho, he joked.

She playfully smacked his cheek.

"Rudy I am fine with going back to work, but are you sure you and Rihaan will be ok without me? Agar aap kehte hain, toh main nahin jati, she stammered.

Her older sister in-laws were waiting for her. They again assured her, all would be fine.

"Gauri and myself had same fears, Bhavya, Annika stated.

" Relax Bhavya. Rudy Bhaiya Rihaan aur baaki baacho ko samalenge. If he needs anything, one of us can return a bit early. Tum baas aapne duty par dhyaan dena, Gauri assured her.

" Gauri theek ne bilkul theek kaha hai. Tum fikar chordo, Annika added.

Bhavya smiled.

"Thanks Annika Bhabhi and Gauri Bhabhi, Bhavya stated.

Gauri handed her tiffin to her and Bhavya slipped on her badge and hat before leaving for work.

"Di I hate to see this, but Rudy Bhaiya ki baand bajne wali hai aaj, Gauri declared.

" Gauri wish you weren't right lekin mujhe bhi yeh lagta hai, Annika replied.

The older bahus finished their work in the kitchen before heading off to their respective workplaces. They were expecting a phone call from their devar.

As expected Rudra had a rough time managing all four kids. Luckily Ansh and Shivani had play school for a few hours.

Annika had a habit of picking of her kids anyway and came home to find Rudra fast asleep besides Rihaan and Jeevika had been found to drawing on him.

Annika did her best to clear the mess and woke Rudra up to go clean up lest he scare any of the children.

Rudra profusely apologized to Annika before heading off to the washroom to wash his face. He yelped from inside there.

Annika looked at the four children and sighed.

Rudra could never grow up. They would all have to manage everything somehow until the kids all were in school.

Shivaay and Omkara laughed together at Rudra later that evening. However they were a bit upset that he "forgot two children at playschool earlier that day.

Annika pulled Shivaay away to calm him down. Gauri warned Omkara with her stern gaze not to trouble Rudra with his dramatic reactions.

Shivaay was met with a glass of water thrown in his face.

"Annika! Why?

" Mr. SSO, you need to learn to calm down. I thought after all this time with me, you would have improved, she declared.

She handed him a towel.

He wiped his face and hair the best he could. He pulled his wife in close to himself.

" I could never have enough time with you, he whispered huskily.

Annika smiled.

"Maine kuch aacha kiye hoga pichle zindagi mein that I got you and this amazing family in this lifetime, she replied.

He wrapped his arms around her petite figure. Despite bearing his children, he could still hold her just the same.

"No way. This is all of your good karma Annika and I wish I could be the man you truly deserved from the beginning, he declared.

She pressed a finger to his lips.

" You have more than made up for it my Bhagad Billa, she retorted as she replaced her fingers with her lips.
