Has Anika been given a personality transplant? - Page 4

Since everyone is ranting.. thought I'll paste this here as well 😆.. Mera wala rant!

Anika has been butchered right after the forced marriage. She ran away and was threatened to get married and what does she do? Advocate his stance in front of his family? Do the dil bole oberio with the man who threatened to blow up his brother? Pleaded him to reveal abt his daksh mu, ' aisa lagta hai ap nataz hai' .. i mean ! That sentence has to be the most W*F !! And then considering shivaay her FRIEND when he is kissing her neck .. why do they have to make a woman stupid and so blatantly ignorant to make her acceptable to audience? Esp regarding secual hints? Then i hated the faltu tashan and that noodle fiasco and the argument for no reason .. I dont know the problem but Anika is shown a woman with no brians. And thats dissappointing.

Re: insecurity...no, I don't buy it...this lack of confidence was produced pretty much overnight just to have contrived drama in the show...and even now they never show it consistently but out of the blue start showing her being insecure and bitter once in a while...if it was shown consistently as a MAJOR personality trait, then it would make sense...but no, most of the time Anika is running around like a mast jhalli and then suddenly she will become this petulant insecure bitter person...what is there to like about that?

Personally I find such kind of insecurity a HUGE turn off and don't have much sympathy for it...especially when the writers don't even bother showing it poignantly anymore...this isn't even about Anika's abandoment issues anymore...they just show her as a bitter ex-wife now constantly taunting Shivaay about Rags...as if it's insecurity on cue...button dabaao, insecurity shuru😕

Kabhi they try to tout this is as some grand love that is so mahaan, so self-sacrificing, and kabhi it's the absolute picture of lame insecurity, complete insensitivity to the one she loves...what is so great about this love then? Why paint her as mahaan to begin with? Own the fact that you've made her this pathetic insecure creature then...show people calling that out...but what do we get...random repeat of "Main darr gayi thi" line that I think even Shivaay has started zoning out per today's epi...can't blame him😆

How is it that an Anika who claims to love Shivaay so desperately is made so amazingly apathetic towards him these days? There were plenty of stupidities in today's Shivika scenes but I'll focus on a few. I get that the writers wanted to render the whole truth revelation pointless to keep dragging the storyline but they couldn't come up with any better excuse for why Anika won't tell him the next morning? I had to laugh over Anika saying ki "too much" ho raha hai given the absolute nonsense the writers have made her character spout these days. The token apology from her to Shivaay today also rang so hollow as if she doesn't really have any real regrets, why even bother showing her apologize then? Shivaay gets a full heartfelt apology and Anika gets this randomness? What was the point of any of this today? Why make her say "aap sahi the" when the very next second she's totally dismissive of him? Does she respect him? Is she scared of him? Does she simply resent him now? Frankly her love for him is the last thing that seems believable when they render her so two dimensional. @@@ Exactly my point she said sorry..and all that long emotional stuff n the next minute she is her sauciest best bordering to be egoistic mean n cruel

The entire insecurity around Rags is unbelievably stupid especially in light of yesterday's scene. Bhaang ka effect was on Shivaay, not Anika, right? She heard what he said, his apology, his regret for the divorce, and still she's throwing that in his face so callously? For what? Just for the sake of token tadi and ego? I don't mind their tadi games in general when a balance is maintained with poignancy but today was a total washout. And Anika was the only collateral damage as usual since writer sahiba

Anika is the most used n molted character of ib, the background of anika is fabulous to build n progress, but unfortunately she has been used just for trp , she changes colour according to track, people r saying that it's her flaws but iam sorry if it was her flaws then it should have properly show just like shivay's nkk flaw , om's truth flaw , Rudy's childishness, but no , the anika who stands for her self respect before marriage was slowly sabotage into molester ke pair chunaa walaa best bahu, she was shamelessly coming back to Om after multiple times she was kicked out by shivay,or pinky , she doesn't said anything n out of the blue she was back in khidkitodd avatar in wife calling track. N her nkk track but till then shivika had no TAKKAR left in then , n again she became helpless infront of pinky, n now she is being bindass again so it's on track how she is being used ,

Hi! In between a lot of errands today... but honestly today's episode gave me wedding reboot vibes...then I was totally frustrated and sort of turned off by Shivaay and here it's Annika.

PS: I did like the bedroom scene by the way. (Performance wise especially, another homerun by NM) The intensity was real...again Shivaay clearly has been written exceedingly well in these last 2-3 episodes at least. Let's see how much that lasts too 😆
