the whole episode was a drag fest. And Omkaras scenes were sandwiched between other scenes n whole confrontation was so rushed.

I have a theory, just bear me out on this.

1. They changed IB vala Om's character significantly in DBO, and made him a lot angrier.

2. After first two weeks of DBO, Svetlana started eating a lot of ss in DBO.

3. For the months of March and April, DBO storyline was only sci-fi experiments.

Why? 'cos Gul and her team only know how to write stories for angry, egotistic male leads. They DON'T know how to write stories for any other kind of ML.

Omkara (and Rudra) are different kind of ML's. That's why their stories are not properly handled. Initially, in Rikara we had overdose of Svet, and now post-merger we don't have enough of them. All this is because the ph does not know how to write a story for Rikara (or Ruvya).

But there's a silver lining. Post-merger scenes for Rikara are sensible and they're taking the storyline forward. We've to bear with the pace and lack of scenes, because if we ask for more, Rikara might return to fighting Svet's nonsense. If the EC gets more ss or importance, its because Gul only knows how to write those kind of stories involving ego battles; its not really Shivika's fault that they fit in the pattern Gul knows so well.

It's Rikara's bad luck that the ph is not recruiting good writers to handle their story, out of sheer pride.

Still, we are getting a proper story for them, Gauri finally left, Omkara's heart v. mind battle is highlighted. Fans will get what they want, just less, because the writers are slowly understanding Rikara. Hopefully, in like a month or two, their understanding will improve, and then they'll have more to show in the serial. Till then we'll have to put up with less air time.

I do hate the intermixing of Rikara and Ruvya scenes, but like I said in the other thread, the writer for group scenes is definitely different from the writer for couple scenes, thats why the horrid editing and inconsistencies.

Well the days there is very little to no Rikara atleast we don't have to waste our time watching the show. I sincerely hope Shrenal quits this show so we can all stop hoping for things which we will not get with this CV team.

I actually thought the scenes were short but extremely poignant.. atleast it's not repetitive.. how many times Omkara has said the same stuff to Gauri in DBO.. I'm glad the scene was not longer.
The gauri leaving scene to me had a lot more impact coz it was so sudden and they didn't show a dramatic build up to it. It hit Omkara so much harder coz she didn't harp on it after his outburst she just kept quiet.. which is why he never thought she would actually go through with it.
I absolutely thought the actors nailed the scenes yes they were short scenes but they conveyed so much in such a short time.
I think the Omkara Gauri relationship is moving along so beautifully.
I guess the next episodes will show Omkara missing Gauri and some realisation of how she affects him will start coming. I hope that pushes him to start looking into the whole Kali thakur story.

agree. they should have shown it for long. they did not show gouri's reaction .

what i hate about yesterday episode was after omkara and gouri scene i was having fun with rudy.

Everyone can sense this partiality easily .I hope the channel also sense this issue soon if they concern the actors career. Talented actors should not be sidelined due to the politics.

Not only the soap, but all segments, news everywhere it is the other couple only. 😡

Ab tho shaadi ho rahi hain, so focus tho wahi rahegi. ANd wot a grand wedding its gonna be, bollywood stars, special song, choreography by remo dsouza...I wont mind not having Rikara as cheer leaders for the wedding.

Rikaraians are saying do not complain but it is getting frustrating. It is clearly shown who is their lead/fav and only in words they are saying they have 3 pairs. Sorry for being blunt how many times will their conduct shaadis of the same couple (either his or hers). Even during Mahasangam they are added for all the raasams.
