Have to give it to Shivaay, he doesn't waste time building up to a topic when he's made up his mind about getting to the bottom of things😆...no preface, nothing, bas direct, "What's going on?"...LOL perhaps enough time has anyways been wasted in not getting around to the MAIN point...so Shivaay today doesn't beat around the bush and directly asks Anika, "What's going on? Why are you doing all this?"
Oh but first I must back up and show some appreciation for the ORIGINAL third wheel b/w Shivika...our very own beloved Tia BABY😆...oh how we miss you now, Tia...when we see poor, forced in imitations with zero storyline development masquerading as Shivaay ki "good friend cum convenient fake fiancee"😆...even after all this time, with barely a passing scene here or there, we see more of a bond/connect b/w ShiTia than Rags has managed in this whole month of forced vampiness😆...I though it was a pretty sweet moment when Tia accidentally called him Shivaay BABY😆 and then apologized for just blurting it out of habit...and such a fond (albeit tired) smile on Shivaay's face...wishing her and Dushyant well even as he himself grapples with grief...the sense of old friends catching up worked in this brief bit...if we all compartmentalize the many times Tia BABY tried to KILL Anika and how easily she got off the hook thanks to MAHAAN Shivaay😆...all said and done, there is a fondness for the earlier set of IB characters that the current set just can't hope to match.
As usual, Tia manages to be the #1 cupid for Shivika inadvertently giving Shivaay the crucial info to REALLY kick his mind into high gear...and I have to laugh that Tia thought Shivika had sorted out the MU cuz she saw the pics Rudy posted on social media😆...Navina, you are missed as Tia...oh the wonderful days of having SHITIA as the third wheel pair😆, the random NB sisters...haha classic IB😆
Oh but I digress too much...coming back to Shivika...so Shivaay after getting the much needed kick to jump start his mind goes running to Anika and confronts her up front..."What's going on?"...in the tone of a man who's HAD ENOUGH and wants to get straight to the point😆...today he gave an open floor to Anika...calmly asking her the reason for why she did all this...no tadi, no mind games...just a straight up question...but Anika was still too busy grappling with a GAZILLION FBs of Pinky's three finger challenge (my god talk about overkill of FBs there...as if any of us have managed to come out of the trauma of that crap phase😆...can the editors go easy on those Pinky FBs, please?)
Any other day, Shivaay telling Anika that he met TIA might have gotten a SNARKY reaction out of her...LOL...but today she was all panicked ki Tia ne kya kya bol dia hoga? So she feigns ignorance and leaves.
Which brings me to scene#2...with SLIGHTLY more progress than the first one😆...again Anika is just wandering around her room when Shivaay decides to try AGAIN to weasel the truth out of her😆...oh but only after eyelocking during a random FB reel of old Shivika scenes that was literally just played one epi back with the EXACT same set of FBs copy/paste😆...once THAT's out of the way, THEN we get down to some substance😆
Some interesting dialogues in this scene...Shivaay bringing back his old, "Yeh haath maine chhodne ke liye nahin pakda" line so Anika retorts with a "Par chhod toh diya na" and he fires back with a "Maine chhoda nahin, TUMNE chhudwaya tha"😆...hahaha chalo shukar hai someone's setting the record straight there...even if Anika wants to focus on the fact that she didn't ORCHESTRATE this end result firstly😆
What diversionary tactics from Anika waise..."aap AB puchh rahe hain? Teen maheene baad?"🤣...and he's like atleast I'm asking NOW so tell me now atleast😆...so then she runs to the "It's too late now" argument, "baat karke koi faayda nahin since you've moved on to Rags"😆...at which point instead of clarifying ki Rags is a fake fiance, he instead again presses Anika on HER having "moved on"...😆...keep butting heads, you two...seedhi baat ko bhi jalebi banaa lo😆
He even tries the "look into my eyes and tell me you've moved on" tactic😆, Anika still keeps deflecting..."Puraani baaton ko dohra ke koi faayda nahin"😆...toh he retorts with "Faayda ho ya nuksaan, mujhe SACH jaanna hai"😆...TENACIOUS Billu😆
When he keeps insisting he wants to know, Anika ki tadi comes back, "Sab kuch aapke hisaab se nahin ho sakta"...ROFL bechara Billu...he then retorts with "Mere hisaab se sab HUA hi kahaan...agar mere hisaab se hota toh hum alag nahin hote"...I'm glad they showed him showing some of his anguish to her...Anika actually looked kinda taken aback to hear him say it (dunno why😆)...and then him continuing with expressing how that one day created so much faasle b/w them...
By the end of it, when all diversionary tactics had failed, Anika resorted to a simple, "I don't want to talk about it"😆...as if that was gonna deter him😆
And finally they come down to their fav. mode...CHALLENGE mode😆...I have to say I find it funny that they feel the need to FB to the hate wedding stunt that Shivaay pulled when they've legit shown Anika JOKING about it once and him being so guilty about it too...LOL so in times like these they suddenly want to show that as a "traumatic" memory to instill fear in Anika about what Shivaay can do? Ok then😆
