Shivika: Divorced vs not divorced
While the situation can go both the ways, that is the cvs can show that Shivaay filed for the divorce and they can show that he didn't.
Emotionally/romantically, if we look at this, we wouldn't want Shivaay to file for a divorce. So if Rags tries to trap him into marriage, he can get away saying that he is still married to Annika with the whole echoing and back ground music for effects.
But in my opinion (strictly my opinion), the track has a bigger potential if they are divorced and that is the reason I think they are.
1. The SSO character can be justified and the divorce doesn't undermine his feelings for Annika.
Shivaay has always been impulsive (the kind who will beat the crap out of someone first and ask questions later). He has been shown to react on impulse when it came to his siblings and each time he blamed Annika/ threw her out. His brothers are everything to him. Her making that one statement, that could throw his brother into depression/ drive him to suicide even is more than he can bear. It is one situation where the HEAD can rule and overpower the HEART. Even if it kills him, he will not keep the person who risked his brother's life around him.
2. The phase after the truth will be an exciting one
I, for one, would like to see the courtship' phase (as old fashioned the term sounds). In a marriage, people are bound to each other and the ownership factor gives one a sense of security. A relationship, on the other hand, gives an option of walking out. They are tied to each other but not in every way or in the way that counts.
It would be a right time to address Annika's insecurities. Be it her past, her keeping things buried and not trusting him enough to open up or even her fear that he will leave her. As far as Shivaay is concerned, he took pride in ownership. He prided in the fact that she was "ONLY HIS.. Sirf meri' were his exact words, if I recall. Being the calculative person he is, I wont be surprised if he doesn't let her out of sight easily till she is tied to him in the truest sense of the word
3. The TRP inducing remarriage
Marriage tracks always bring TRPs. The proper wedding with all the functions, the secret meetings, romance and the SG. This time the marriage can be with consent, not without drama but an overload of romance.
