Aftermath of Pari... 27.7

Episode continues in aftermath of yesterday's sad farewell to Pari. I was telling you Shivaay will be the hardest hit, and he had the most to learn from Baby Pari's brief sojourn in their lives.

He sits , openly sobbing and missing Baby Pari, her smell is in her clothes. Annika sits by his side, knowing how much he is hurting. He just lets her sit, doesn't walk away , nor does he bother to hide his sadness from her.

"So, it's pretty obvious now, how much you love kids.." she offers, to lighten the situation.

"Who doesn't like kids.."

"So short a time, a child turned you from Stone Singh Oberoi to Mom Singh Oberoi"

"Love is like that. It can melt anything. Even me..."

"I didn't know you had the capacity to love someone so deeply like this... she asks innocently, as though really amazed by this new dimension of Shivaay. She's seen his love for his brothers and his family, but this soft sentimental caring side she has never seen.

(Well, you would have if you didn't break his heart that day Annika. He was this sweet as he was proposing to you...)

The look on his face was disbelieving. "YOU didn't know? " It was as though he was saying You of all people should know. You are after all the one who knows me the best, Annika. You didn't know I love you?

(Well, she must be thinking, He must not have loved her, that's how he was able to throw divorce papers in her face and throw her out like that. He hasn't done that to anyone else he loved.

That "No matter what equation" hasn't come into Shivika equation. They love each other as equals , not like a dependent-superior type equation)

When she looked away unsure, I saw his face change into incredulity. She doesn't know? Really? It became obvious when she changed the subject to Pari, that she didn't really know he loved her.

"I was talking about Pari...

"I too was talking about Pari...

Oh Please, who are you both kidding now!?

My God, that visual of two heartbroken people sitting together yet not together , talking yet not talking, loving and hiding it. Just rip out my heart and take it already.

Later by the poolside , OBros sit and miss Pari. Then Shivaay lets out a shocker that he was willing to adopt Pari as his own. Loved the expression of OmRu's faces as they realized their brother has crossed past all his prejudices and is now a believer that Love is more important than NKK.

Then I saw the parallel between Pari and Annika. Both have no Naam, Khoon and Khandaan. He was ready to adopt Pari and love her unconditionally. What's stopping him from Annika then? He didn't want to discuss more of his past words coming to bite him so he leaves but mind is heavy with swirling thoughts.

Annika too has no family, bloodline and surname, just like Pari. She loved him, he knew that. But she threw it all away, and he too threw her out. And it now looked like she didn't even know he loved her. And he stands the risk of losing her all over again eventually.

That journey he told her about in the jungle, the struggle to be rid of his stubborn Tree-like inbuilt prejudices, the one he said was the long journey? Yeah, he completed that journey now. He stood watching her there in his room, his personal space, closed his eyes and saw her as the mother of his child. All the emotions on his face, made my heart heavy like a stone.

Is it this easy? Can I just reach out?

I can thank the CVs enough for effectively using all their gorgeous flashbacks in aiding this silent heavy thinking man into realizing how much he loves Annika, and actually how little things are in their way to each other right now. When I watched him look at her from his bedroom door, it looked like he might just reach out for her right then; even she felt something, kept asking if there was something he'd like to say.

"There's no use now. It's too late...now " and quickly makes an exit.

But he turns back.

"You can stay here in this room, if you like..."

What is he saying?

"No, this is your room. You stay here. I'm okay in my own room."

First day she returned she claimed the room as hers. He said faraq nahin padta and left. Then he became jealous and tried to get his room back, and she threw him out of his room. Now he wants her to stay in his room, and she says no thanks, you have it.

Please stay Annika. Stay in my life. I want you to stay. Because I love you.

Just say it !! arrrgrgghhh!!!!! Can he just this above words please.. A.s.a.p?!

I watched him swallow his words, lost his courage and left without another word.

I felt so much for Om's character today after so long. It's really hard when you sit in front of an empty canvas and can't draw a single thing. You copy and make simple distractions just to keep the muscles exercised, but the mind just isn't singing a tune for you to create. Problems and sadness put a big artist's block upon Om, and he despairs his inability to create, and as most emotional artists are when you take their inspiration away, he is depressed.

It was a beautiful scene with Kunal, I enjoyed his character again after so long. I hope they make it unique as he gets his muse, not just dress Gauri up in a pretty dress. Om is much deeper than that.

Tej-Lana-Jhanvi

I was suspicious yesterday, but today I'm pretty sure this plot is just like the movie Diabolique (Sharon Stone & Isabella Adjani ). The wife with a weak heart and the mistress of a cruel man, get into a position where they accidentally killed him. But when they bury him, his body disappears. They are both in a fix and he taunts them both slowly up to the climax. It looks like it right now. Creative I must say, something different.

Okay Bhavya cuffed him up to have his protein bar, or to stop his angry man tirade? I like how she's cute and trying hard to explain her situation but he is carrying his hurt around in front of his face. So she cuffed him and then got his attention.

But why did she turn into crying face girl during the song? Bhavya is a kick ass cop, strong girl, that scared girl face she makes doesn't suit her, especially since Rudra is such a big teddy bear. But the song was nice.

Precap:

OmRu talk Shivaay directly into patching up with Annika. He gets angry that they think it so easy a matter, considering what she did, how she insulted them. And they say they have long since forgotten the issue...

Each brother is dealing with the loss of Pari. Shivaay is seeing parallels in Annika, having done his battle with NKK issues. Om is reevaluating himself after Pari got him in touch with his sensitive side again. Rudra is feeling lonesome as the little brother with a partial GF who is so touch and go.

Rudra asking Om for a little baby to play with was hilarious.. I can't praise Rudra enough for his comic timing..👏
