He did not want to consider a single fact when it tied it to his mother - his seat of NKK and his ultimate identity with his NKK.

His mother is his family.. not his NKK.. She is reason why he is the way he is though..His NKK is his hubris@ being an Oberoi.. him feeling privileged because of it..him judging others due to lack of it... So, I think our definition of NKK is different! 😕😆

It is not Shakti but Shivvay who shields her even though he sees her wrongdoings and that is not being a honest husband that a wife can trust and feel confident about

I don't disagree that he choose his Mom at times over Anika but then he also choose Anika over her mom sometimes, which was the main reason why the 3-day challenge started.. As far as the early battles were concerned he tried to maintain a balance between these relationships.. but then he lost the final war when these two opposite forces joined hand 😆..

Don't get me wrong.. I have always maintained he should have used his brain.. He needs to figure things out... BUT If Shivaay was/is not an honest husband, then Anika was/is not a reliable wife!

Later when Ranveer married Prinku he did not check the facts (or maybe he did but did not want to act on it because it was his mother a.k.a his NKK). Again, he should have used his analytical thinking to get to the bottom of things... I'm not denying it.. He is being DUMB.. VERY DUMB.. He had a lot of precedence even before NT track(post Anika kidnapping, Post Lohri Shooting).. And I accept he is weak because he is not able to face it..

But if I expect Shivaay to figure out the clue.. accept these facts, then I also expect Anika to realize her mistake in these 3 months.. She should have replayed the instance in her head, when Shivaay did stand by her side.. when he choose HER over his NKK(and now don't say there were no such incidents😆), when he asked her for be his humsafar.. jungle track.. when every time she ran away he brought her back and explained that they need to fight everything in their life TOGETHER... So, Again both are at fault! 😆

All this leads to why Annika felt the best option was to give in to Pinky. She and his NKK which matters the most to him in life would be safe and this she heaerd from the horses mouth itself over and over again

And I can still be okay with Anika leaving Shivaay in order to protect him...(though doing nothing and calling Pinky's bluff would have been ideal😆)...There are reason why I can see why she did what she did - Anika's insecurities and her lack of trust in this relationship are the main reason.. + Shivaay did not understand how deep-rooted they are and his actions increased them(mostly not deliberately).. he did not give his 100% to understand the issues on hand.. Her clues at that time were confusing at time and were still surrounded by pretense.. But Shivaay had 3 months!

My big issue is and has always been the way Anika executed this plan and I don't justify it and I will never justify it.. For me any kind of emotional manipulation cannot/should not be justified... and is not the 'best option' and this Anika's flaw should be called out..😆

Just like we do not expect Shivvay to read Annika's mind - we should not expect Annika to read Shivvay's and not take his statements at face value.

Nope I don't expect her to read Shivaay's mind..

But I do expect that if she nodded and accepted what he said, then she tries to keep her words..(Jungle Track)...The same way I expect Shivaay to keep his promises.. 😊

Agreed.. I feel this is the nth time I'm repeating this.. 😆...He lacks the courage.. Love for his mother weakened him earlier and Anika's betrayal has weakened him now.. And again not defending him.. Not defending and he does not get a free pass, But at this moment, He is too hurt and too lost to go searching for this truth.. Anika is the reason why he is the way he is.. Anika never shared her past with him... Why?? Is she ashamed about her lack of NKK and the fact that she will be judged for it? Is she scared of facing her past? Is she worried that her NKK might impact their relationship?? Shivaay did say it does not matter..😊 Again.. I did not pick on Anika here.. I said both of them weren't each other's confidants and were hiding things and that is not how a relationship worked..😊

I wrote this somewhere a few days back - Until Anika says the truth without any pretense, She will have to keep bringing all these issues in their relationship in the forefront again and again.. Truth has to be said like the truth - plain and simple.. without any deceit.. without any lies surrounding them.. I agree and not just Annika ... Shivvay needs to start facing some truths on his home front as well

Shivaay's BIG mistakes/flaws were/are not tuning his radar.. not accepting that his family can be at fault.. not giving his 100% in order to figure out what exactly was wrong with Anika and then letting his anger(and now hurt) cloud his judgement AGAIN! *SIGH* AGAIN NKK v/s Annika
