First of all I am not favouring CV's 😆 or shivaay-annika. I am a shivika fan. I liked today episode so I just wanted to post my analysis.
I will go with dialogues.
So before I start, we know in yesterday episode annika have tried quite number of tricks to get a reaction from Shivaay but he acted totally normal/unaffected that it did not make any difference to him whether annika is present there or not.
In three months so many things can change and as we know/can see that Shivaay is acting indifferent may be to see if annika gets affected and same way annika is trying to get the same. Yes they were close before but when you meet after three months (that too the way they separated ) so you will think that the other person will have the same feelings still. You will actually take some test of that person or in a way try to find that if it is same as before.
Before leaving annika knew that she has place in shivaay's heart but she broke that (we are not going into that reason or discussion) so now she can not say that if Shivaay hates her/loves her/is angry or whatever until & unless he reacts.
So let's start from today - I didn;t take full dialogues

kuch log hmari jindgi me aate jarur hai lekin rhne layak nhi hote, actually its really good and I think you should move on, waise bhi aajkal move karna kitna aasan hai its very easy (with smile)
Shivaay said these dialogues in very casual way and even he has a litlle smile. Yes he is trying to act indifferent here and showing that he doesn't care and that's what annika took from this scene that he is totally unaffected.
Then Shivaay leaves with ragini by putting hand on her normally.
iska matlab kahin na kahin shivaay apni jindgi me aage bad chuke hai sayad isliye to unhe koi farak hi nhi pad rha
bahut badi galti kar di maine jo pinky aunty ki bat manke mai shivaay se dur chali gayi, ab mai chah kar bhi shivaay aur apne bich ki duriya khatam nhi kar skti
she is clearly disappointed in herself and accepted that what she did was wrong and she wants to fix that mistake.
Then her monologue in room when she talks to herself.
"mere liye shivaay ki khushi sbse jada important hai lekin sayad unki khushi kisi aur ke sath hai
this is completely true that for his happiness she can do anything. Here note the word "SAYAD". she is uncertain that if he will be happy now with her in his life. From his reaction in the hall, she saw him unaffected so she has doubts that may be now his happiness is not with her and he has really moved on as she said in hall. It does not mean that she took Shivaay's love for granted but in three months so many things can change.
She still had hope deep down and it proved in her next dialogue.
maine OmRU & Dadi se vaada kiya tha ke mai Shivaay ki tadi wapis leke ayungi lekin sayad mai apna vaada pura hi nhi kar payungi kyunki ab mere hone ya na hone se shivaay ko koi farak nhi padta"
he is showing his indifference so she is not sure that if she can bring back his tadi
mai haar nhi manna chahti lekin jeet ki koi umeed bhi to nhi hai mere pas
she said that she doesn't want to lose but she doesn't have any hope or any string to hold on at this point.
bas ek ishara mil jaye mujhe ke shivaay ko abhi bhi hmare rishte ki parwah hai, abhi bhi unke dil me mere liye jagah hai, abhi bhi unhe farak padta hai
She wanted to get some clue/some reaction that the feelings/ehsas/farak they feel for other is still there so that she can fight because if it is not there then there is no point in fighting a lost battle
and as soon as she got that clue, you can the happiness in her/her confidence is back and now she will fight for shivaay come what may.
She has unactually underestimated Shivaay's feeling for her. She knew that he feels for her but from her point his NKK truth could have done more damage to him than her living which was her flaw. She had to understand that why is she not enough for Shivaay. She had to understand that you have to fight for your relationships and should not give up until last drop of hope is there.
PS: I didn't find any of annika/shivaay out of character.
PPS: I have strong feeling that SSO is playing big game and trapping anni in her own farak game.
PPPS: I know most of us are very upset with CV's & me too for the way they used characters for their own good of trp. when they want make annika mahaan, when they want make sso brainless(lol although it is annika most of the time) but they used sso also for their trp. But still I am loving it from 2-3 episodes & looking at the segment I am looking forward to the track
