IB is popular than previous Guls love saga

For a person like me who has watched ALL Gul khan and 4 Lions shows..starting from Geet, IPKKND, QH, Ishqbaaz and has lived the journey and fandom.. According to my statistics and experience the most popular GK show is IPK and then Geet..IB comes at no. 3 . I have been on india-forums since 9 yrs now..even before the time this twitter-fb craze started. What I have experienced in all these years, IPK is a show which caused alot of hysteria among fans. I havent seen any other show which shut down coz the jodi was being broken. Fans didnt accept it and it caused the show to shut down..That time was hell crazy, and the show got dubbed in different languages AfTer it was shut down coz Star Plus people were aware of its crazy popularity so they wanted to cash on it. IpK 2 was created to please the audience( which was stupid of Star plus people to think so) and now when GuL decided to make a show again with Barun sobti on Star Plus, the channel decided to name it IpK 3 (intially it was not named IPk and it was channel's decision to do so) .The reason why it was purposely done by channel coz they have literally been flooded with msgs, requests since past 5 yrs to bring ipk and Sarun back..Even now there is crazy hysteria all around coz Sanaya is not part of the show.

And regarding the most relatable characters in IB ...i ll tell you what All the characters in GuL khan's show are almost same. I am a huge Arshi fan but even they were similar to Maan Geet.It actually all started with Geet.The same concept - Proud, arrogant wealthy rich business tycoon with some disturbed past (Maan, ASR, Asad, Shivaay) and bubbly, naive, middle class orphan heroine..( geet, khushi, zoya, annika)

The comedy, romance all are part of GK show..Its a repeated pattern..Only few things are diff in her shows..Otherwise everything almost is same..Even few scenes are same..She copied Maaneet scenes which were pasted on Arshi which were again repeated in IB. ( I am saying this coz I have seen all the shows from start to end except QH)

So when people say This or That show is different..Then let me tell you it is not and same is the case with characters being relatable.Some situations are relatable and some are not in ALL her shows. If Annika is realtable so is Geet, khushi and Zoya... (All had typical speech style, their own vocabulary, were bold and daring ) Coz their basic traits are same and so is the case with the love stories.. All are almost same..Only few changes here and there.

Being Gul khan shows ardent viewer I am aware that she butchers her own shows and characters. Almost the fate of her every show is same. Geet fans hated her for what she did to the show, then came Arshi fans, then QH fans and same will be repeated with IB and in some course of time with IPK 3. What I have learnt is love her characters, enjoy the show, enjoy the love saga, the romance and everything but dont invest so much. Her shows are good only for 10 months till she is stuck with the original concept and basic plot. After that its repeat telecast.

And coming back to the title of this post.. IpKKnd and Arshi cannot be surpassed in terms of popularity. Not even the new season of IPk can match the crazy fandom IPk 1 had. Even QH could not do that, it had kSG, and KSG's fandom was altogther at diff level at that time. And when it comes to the number of pages a particular forum has. Then top 3 forums on I-F are IPK, geet, dmg.

So many popular Love sagas had come and gone..so many iconic jodis have come and gone and many shows but the Craziness and hysteria IPk caused is unmatched.its just unbelievable
