In my opinion she acted rash, and not in the best interest of Shivay, who she professes to love so much and will make the ultimate sacrifice, but:
1. She took the decision to leave Shivay rather than have him broken about his illegitimacy, why did she make that decision for him? He has the right to choose which will hurt him more
2. When he does find out and if indeed Pinky did tell Shivay, he would have needed all his loved ones to help him through this- his brothers, Dadi, Anika...but now without that full support, he is emotionally more vulnerable- especially as now he thinks he was right all along in thinking one's bloodline etc is so important
3. Her leaving him has broken his heart so badly that he has now regressed to the cold businessman that he used to be, all the progress that was made is all gone- he is now a broken man who will not believe in love anymore- and maybe lose the capacity to love
4. This has also affected his health- as he already had a pre-existing condition, this, as seen by Anika could have led and could still lead to serious consequences
Who is Anika to make that choice for Shivay?? If Shivay gets to find out the truth about Pinky's blackmail, he should be equally angry with Anika, as she made a decision FOR him, she took away all control from Shivay...I also believed that she went too far with her verbal diatribe with Shivay...when you love someone that strongly no amount of blackmail could make you say those hurtful things to the one you love...to take one's weakness and twist it like knife in someone is something an enemy does
BUT- what I could not understand was, why did Shivay not suspect that this is not Anika's way? Maybe he will be equally hurt thinking that she should have trusted him and come to him...who knows, but I am not feeling the sympathy most feel for Anika - it was her decision
