When Om heard that Shivvay doubted Annika about the chip leak, he did not believe him and set out to find the truth that would prove her innocent with Rudy in tow.
Shivvay contemplates in his room what she said outside, mulling over her words - while Om and Rudy have already decided even before they spoke with her that this is not what their Bhabhi is. There is a bigger reason behind this.

I believe these were the same two boys who approached Annika and made her feel like she could always count on them. I saw the same Om and Rudy today. Standing up for Annika and refusing to take all that had been said at 'face value'. I did always say that she fell in love with his Family much before she fell in love with him.
I wrote in my post that Annika could never hurt the boys, be it intentionally or unintentionally, to protect Shivvay and she did not. Her bond with Om and Rudy began so much more before her bond with Shivvay did. Shivvay and his well-being will never be outweighed by her concern for their well-being.
They were her true protectors, supporters and well wishers much before her husband came on the scene to replace them. She would not replace their place in her heart with him in just a heartbeat?? That for Annika to do is unthinkable.
Once more they are strength and her courage. They are the ones who share her pain and her anguish. They are her 'knights in shinning armour'. They will not fail her when the time comes. They will make sure that even if they never break their word to keep her secret, they will somehow bring the truth about her leaving to light.
Annika's promise was not to reveal his illegitimacy - it did not cover the part where she was doing this as an act. You have to still learn to make watertight deals Mrs. ASSO because I believe the advantage is Sir Om's and Sir Rudy's now.
They will find a loophole in this promise they made - you can be certain that they are 'True Blue' Oberoi's at heart when it comes to that.
