Omkara sing Oberoi stood in silence as he watch his wife doing the vat savitri puja for his well being. As much he knew Gauri Kumari Sharma, this puja and all matters a lot to her. She had worn a yellow suit, complementing her fair complexion. The morning breeze was playing with her hair. As she look heavenly in this attire Omkara couldn't help himself staring at her continuously.
"she looks so pure..how can she cheat anyone.. he thought.
She had her eyes closed, as she prayed to god " hey Shankarji hum aj jaa rahe hain Omkara Ji ke zindagi se, Ab ap ko hi unka khayal rakhna hai. Ap bas itni kripa karna ki unapar ayi sari musibat humpe a jayee...aur wo khush rahe.. bohot khush. Tears welled up in her eyes as she remembered he was never happy when she was with him.
Gauri opened her eyes finishing her prayer. Her heart skipped a bit as she caught him looking at her.
He could clearly see the tears beaming in her eyes. He felt a kind of pain. He walked up to her.. "kyun ro rahi ho?? he asked politely.
She was surprised as she felt the softness of his voice, he had never talked to her like this before. How could she tell him that she is crying because she is going away from him forever, she is crying because she will never be able to see him again, she is crying because the person she loved most , hate her and thinks wrong about her.
"Nahi..kuch bhi nahi.. hume kya hoga..!! she faked a smile and said in dabang Gauri style.
They danced after the puja. Gauri was so happy, she danced like it was the last dance of her life. Everytime omkara held her she wish if the time could stop.
They returned home after completing the rituals.
Omkara was the one, who always wanted Gauri out of his life, he didn't even want to see her face,He humiliated her umpteenth time asking her for going away from him and his family.
But when the day arrive when she is actually going away from him for ever, strangely enough he didn't feel happy. He, himself was unaware that he is attracted towards her. A part of him wanted her to stay. He was not bothered about the reason why he want her to stay. He just felt so uneasy at the thought of her going.
His heart was saying that she is pure, she can't cheat anyone, she has done only good for him. But in his mind she was another girl like Svetlana. His heart and mind was in conflict.
"Omkara ji..
He looked back at the door of his room, only to see her standing with her belongings.
"hum ja rahe the..bas kuch kam baki rahe gaya tha.. she said.
"what..? he asked.
She came forward hesitatingly...and bends in front of him and touch his feet. He hold her shoulder and pulled her up immediately.
Her doe shaped eyes were full of tears, Omkara could only see the reflection of her devotion and purity in her eyes.
He felt a sudden urge of hugging her as he remember she expected a hug while she was leaving yesterday.
Omkara didn't stop himself and wrapped an arm around her shoulders,and pulled Gauri into his arms immediately. She was shocked, surprised and overwhelmed at his reaction. His embrace was warm, and his muscular arms was protectively wrapped around her . she rest her head on his chest listening to his heart beats and wish the moment never end.
For Omkara, he was feeling a new emotion. He had hugged Chulbul many time, for the first time he was hugging Gauri and it was definitely different. Her close proximity has always made his heart beat faster. Her arm was circling his neck , he could smell the fragrance of her hair. "She fits perfectly in my arms.. he thought as a smile curved his lips.
They broke the hug after a moment.
" I don't how I am going to manage everything alone..BUAMA wants me to remarry you, but you are leaving.. I don't know Said omkara, giving a final try to stop Gauri.
Gauri was confused, "what he is saying?...does he want me to stay here and help him? she thought. But she remembered how badly Omkara wanted her out of his life, even he asked her to have poison and die. She didn't wanted to hurt Omkara anymore and make herself a burden.
"Sab thik ho jayega Omkara ji... she could only say this much.
"Damn..this girl.. he was getting furious.
"okk.. so tum kaha jaogi abhi?? Kya karogi? Kuch socha hai? he said again trying to make her nervous.
"Nahi kuch nahi socha...par itne bade saher me kahi na kahi hum rahe lenge.. she said.
"damn...why she is not understanding that I don't want her to go..I want her to stay here. He thought again
" I mean... agar tum chahati ho to..tum yaha ruk sakti ho.. I mean obviously if you want then. He could manage to speak.
But she didn't understand his motive.. "Nahi Omkara ji pahele hi apka bohot ehsan hai humpar...hum aur badhana nahi chahate.. hume aapse kuch nahi chahiye she said.
Till then his anger has reached its limit. He was furious both on himself and Gauri.
Furious On himself because he was unable to express that he want Gauri to stay, his ego was stopping him. Furious on Gauri because she didn't understand his unspoken words, and was being stubborn.
"what does she think of herself?? She wants me to beg infront her?? he thought.
"Tum jaisi ladkiya hoti hi aisi ho...apna maksad pura karne k liye sabka use karte ho.. kya soch rahi ho..ki main tumse request karunga please Gauri mat jao, ruk jao..?? then you are wrong Gauri Kumari Sharma. Omkara ko tum jaisi ladkiyon se koi fadak nahi padta.. tum jaha marzi jao, jo marzi karo. I Just simply don't care he said to her without realising what he is saying. He was unable to control his anger.
Tears welled up in her eyes, she couldn't believe this is the same man who was hugging her few moment back. She was shattered and heartbroken once again.
"Omkara ji..hum to bas.. she tried to speak.
"Just Leave damn it... chali jao yaha se.. he shouted and went out of the room slamming the door on her face.
