Scene Setting: All is well in the Oberoi Mansion, none of this Pinky or Illegitimacy happened Mr&Mrs SSO are happily in love. Rudra & Saumya are engaged, but Saumya is out of the country for a week. Omkara & Gauri have acknowledged their marriage but haven't said the 3 magical words yet.

Rudra walked into the kitchen as quietly as he could, looking around as he went. He didn't need to, after all it was 22h30 and everyone in the Mansion had retired to their rooms early as everyone seemed to have had a busy day, but he had to be cautious. Because if anyone saw the health freak sneaking into the kitchen to eat a paratha before bed, they would never let him live it down.
It's all that Sumo's fault. Why did she have to give me her habit. And why did she have to go all the way to New York to meet a doctor? Mumbai has so many hospitals, she could have went to one of those and met any of the doctors there's. But no, she had to go away and leave me on my own to get my own paratha! Hmpf. The nerve of that woman.
So lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice that he was walking into someone until it was too late. "Umpf" Reacting instinctively, he reached out and caught hold of the other person before they could fall. Squinting in the dimly lit kitchen he barely made out the person who had been so rude as to disrupt his path to his paratha.
"Oh bete ki"
Hearing the well known words of the most loved Oberoi, Rudra breath a sigh of relief and then grinned because he knew that his secret would be safe with her. Infact she would eat a paratha with him too if he offered.
Stabling her, he reached behind her to switch on the light but she held his hand, leaned in closer so he could see her and shook her head while placing a finger to her lip in the universal sign for 'shhh'
"What happened, Anika bhabi?" He looked around quickly, his protectiveness coming to the fore. "Wait here. I will give whoever dared enter Oberoi Mansion a taste of Rudy Power"

"Arre baba, talk softly. And no, there is no intruder for you to show your power to. But your bhai's will definitely get a taste of Chameli!" Anika whispered the last part angrily to Rudra while peeping through the kitchen window "What do they think of themselves?! I will not that them get away with this 2rs behaviour!"
Anika saw her devar mimic her as he too looked out of the window into the garden outside. "Bhabi. Uhm what are you looking at? And why do you wanna kill bhai? And why aren't you sleeping?" He fired off his questions at Anika.
Anika sensed the confusion in her devar's voice, looked towards to him and found him still staring out the window. Shaking her head she tapped his shoulder. "Rudra. You don't have to stare so hard"
"It's still time for her to come" She glanced at her phone to make sure that there was still time. "You came to get your paratha didn't you?" She asked him
"I-wh-How" He sighed. "Yes. But why are you here and what were you saying about bhaiya?"
Anika's head snapped up as she realised her slip up earlier. Damn it, Anika. You have got to learn to think before you speak, she admonished herself for her carelessness. She really didn't want anyone to find out about this. What if she was wrong.
"Bhabi!!" Rudra shouted in her ear.
She covered his mouth with her hand the instant her nerves settled down from being shocked by his shout. "Chup! I told you to be quiet. Didn't I" She whispered sternly and her devar instantly dropped his gaze, his expression turning to that of a child being scolded at.
She removed her hand that was covering his mouth and strained her ears for any sounds of approaching footsteps. Good, that means Rudra's herculean shout didn't attract anyone, she sighed in relief.
"I'm sorry, Anika bhabi" Rudra's wobbly whisper caught Anika's attention. "I just wanted to help"
She smiled at the cuteness of her youngest devar. Even though he had matured quiet impressively, he would still become a child infront of her every time she raised her voice.
So this cuteness runs in the family. Everyone turns into some cute version of some cute animal. Either a cute billu or a cute puppy.
"Come, I will tell you what I'm doing here" Leaning against the counter opposite Rudra, and making sure she had a good view of the kitchen entrance, she waited as Rudra hopped onto the other counter and looked at her expectantly. "I think Om' is going to cheat on Gauri"
"WHAT!!!" His shout startled Anika. He had jumped off the counter and was now standing nose to nose with her. "How do you know?! How can you say that!"
Pushing his chest lightly to get him out of her face and sending a prayer of thanks when he moved back slightly, Anika said "Keep your voice down." She rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. Should I tell him? But he might be traumatised to know what his brother is doing...He should know. "Ok, listen"

Anika walked throughout the whole house looking for Shivaay and on not finding him anywhere she stopped one of the servants and asked if he had seen Shivaay. Getting to know that he was on the terrace with Om Sir, she had thanked the man and made her way upstairs.
Opening the door, she took in the beauty of the roof top garden before navigating her away to where she could hear voices. Almost near them now, she opened her mouth to shout a 'hey' but stopped when she heard Om question Shivaay.
"Are you sure no one saw you coming to meet me here?" He sounded nervous.
Shivaay touched Om's shoulder and said "Relax, Om. And this is the 4th time you asked me that question"
"I don't want anyone to find out" His shoulder dropped. "I don't know what else to do. You know why I'm doing this"
Who are they hiding from and what exactly are they doing that that needs to be discussed so secretively...No I shouldn't be eavesdropping on them. I'll go back down and wait for Shivaay, I'll ask him when he comes down. Yes. I'll do that.
"Shivaay, look at her picture. Isn't she beautiful?" Om all but sighed.
Taking the ipad Om passed to him, Shivaay stared at it for a few seconds. "WOW!" The reverence in his voice shocked Anika. "She is beautiful. When is she arriving?"
Anika smiled and whispered to herself "Ooo, someones mooning over Gauri...And he's making my husband do the same" A frown marred her forehead on the last part.
Ohh, they're talking about Gauri? It's about time Om expressed his love for her. And who's arriving? Gauri is already at home...But why does Shivaay sound like that? Cheapre! ...Rude much, Anika? Stop being nosy!
She had just took a step back to leave when Om's next words make her freeze. She felt her blood turn cold and for some reason her wind pipe seemed to stop working. Anika stared at the brothers, eyes unblinking, unable to understand what was happening.
"Tonight. I told Khanna to pick her up around 22h30. Everyone should be asleep by then, especially Gauri, so i'll be able to bring her inside easily, without anyone seeing"
Shivaay turned to Om. "You sure you want to do this?" He made Om face him. "Gaur-"
"No Shivaay. You know why I'm doing this!" So much helplessness in his voice.
Shivaay sighed. "Fine. Fine"
Om was staring at the ipad again. His eyes full of awe. "I can't wait to hold her...She's so damn beautiful"
Anika's feet finally gained feeling again and she stumbled back, gasping for breath. Her eyes were blurring up and her heart was a drum against her ribs. No. No. No. He wouldn't. He wouldn't. Om would never...Om he wou...Stop It, Anika!...You're phailao'ing unnecessary raita. Just ask Shivaay. He'll clear everything up.
Anika turned around and exited the roof top as quietly and as quickly as she could. She ran all the way to her room and once inside, she started pacing the length of the room.
I'm sure misinterpreted the conversation. Omkara would never do something so cheap. Stop it Anika. How can you think so low of him. God, please forgive me. It's the heat. It's turning my brain into mush.
"Urrgghhh" She pulled at her hair, frustrated with everything.
"Anika"
She froze, hands still tangled in her hair. She knew he must have been confused by what he was seeing so she quickly let go of her hair and turned to him. He was looking at her with the same expression Rudra had whenever he didn't understand something. Hmm so it runs in the family. Cute!
"Anika" Shivaay said again, coming closer to her.
"Ye..Yes. I mean, yes what do you want?" Anika replied, trying to sound as normal as she could. "Is something wrong Shivaay?"
"I should be asking you that. You're the one who wants to pull your hair out" He reached out and touched a curl. "I have a certain liking of your hair. So don't damage it. Ok?"
She would have blushed, but her mind was too occupied with other pressing, disturbing matters."Uhm Shivaay, I was looking for you just now, but I couldn't find you. Where were you?"
He froze but quickly recovered with a shrug of his shoulder, and Anika instantly knew something wasn't right. "Looking for me? I was outside discussing some stuff with the new security"
"Oh, I w-" She stopped when his phoned started to ring. "We'll talk later, you answer the call"
She waited until he closed the door and then she let her tears falls. Falling to the floor, she cried into her hands. He lied. He lied to me. Why did he have to lie. Why is he doing this? What will I do..Oh God. But why is Om doing this? And who is this woman? ... Gauri will break if she finds out.
Anika thought about it and realised that there was no need for her to cry. The people who were wrong should cry. Tonight she would show her poetic devar exactly how she dealt with tuchi luchi 2rs people. For her sister-in-law.
"You will not cry! You are not weak" The fierceness in her voice was reflected in her eyes. "I will teach him a lesson tonight"
Get ready Mr Omkara Singh Oberoi. If my doubts are correct then you'll never be able to recite another line of poetry let alone a whole stanza

Rudra stumbled back, banging into the cupboard behind him. He saw Anika reach out to help him but he held his hand up. "No bhabi"
He couldn't understand what he had just heard. No, actually he understood but he didn't know how to believe it. He knew his brother would never do something like this. His mind just wouldn't let him digest what he heard. Om was a lot of things but a cheap man was not one of those things.
And Rudra knew that his brother loved Gauri. Sure, Om hadn't yet confessed his feelings to her, but he would never hurt Gauri intentionally. He shook his head. Om bhaiya would never do this. He wouldn't! Rudra looked at his bhabi who was looking down at her feet, she looked distraught.
"Bhabi, y-" Rudra stopped when he heard murmurs coming from outside. He saw Anika's head snap up as she heard the same.
Feet suddenly feeling too heavy, he dragged himself to the window that just minutes ago he was looking out of. Once again he squinted out the window and the gasp that escaped his lips must have surely echoed through the entire house.
No! This doesn't prove anything...It doesn't... It doesn't, the words echoed like a mantra in his head as if he was willing the words to be true.
"Rudra" Anika stroked a gentle hand down his back, the gesture soothed him instantly. "I hoped I was wrong. I came down here tonight, because I wanted to prove myself wrong" Her voice broke on the last word and he felt her hand drop away.
He turned and gathered her up in his arms, it may have looked like he was the one offering comfort, but in honest fact, he was the one who was being comforted by her. Weird, but true. "Let's wait and see if bhaiya and O' go out to meet whoever is out there"
He felt his Anika bhabi nod and then she stepped away. "God help them all if they prove me right" She said in a voice that devoid of any emotion, but her eyes...her eyes were ablaze with anger.
"I'm with you. We will deal with this together" Rudra said with finality. He still couldn't believe what was happening, but no way in hell was he going to stand back and watch his brothers become another Tej Singh Oberoi.
* * * * * *
Anika was peeping out of the kitchen window, trying to get a clear view of the woman that was standing with Khanna, when she heard hurried footsteps coming towards the kitchen. "Rudra" She hissed and pulled her devar down with her to duck behind the kitchen counter.
"I told you we should have came down earlier, but no, you just had to finish your presentation" Om said through gritted teeth.
Anika heard Shivaay sigh and she knew, without even looking, that he was rubbing two fingers over his left eyebrow in irritation as he replied "It was important and it's not like hours passed. It's only a couple of minutes"
"Yes but it's cold outside Shivaay, what if she doesn't like the cold" Om's voice was close to a whine
Shivaay's reply was distorted as he and Om exited the back door. Anika could feel Rudra's eyes on her and she knew even before looking at him that his expression would match her furious one. She could literally feel the waves of fury rolling off him.
They both stood up, and like Shivaay and Om had done seconds ago, made their way to the back door. "Bhabi I have a plan. Y-"
But before Rudra could elaborate on his plans to Anika, there was an interruption in the form of something barrelling past both of them with a eardrum damaging scream that sounded vaguely like "OOOMMMKKKAAARRRAAA"
"Phail gaya raita" Anika groaned out while sharing a similar look of 'oh bete ki' with Rudra as they realised that the 'something' was actually someone. "Change of plans, Rudra"
