Preparations...
Anika called Khanna and he was more than willing to help her out. The CCTV cameras within the house were normally switched off unless there was some function in the house. But as there was Mehendi cermony the previous day Khanna had skilfully turned on the cameras. Anika saw how Pinky had acted out the telephone conversation with some non existing person, just to trap her.
She had little time and needed clarity on certain things. Luck was so much in her favour that the medical team arrived in the Mansion for the monthly checkup of the Oberois. Anika easily managed to get blood samples of Shakti, Pinky and Shivaay. She had given them for DNA test. But she wanted Kamini's sample too.
Anika called Gauri and she found it easy to take the girl into confidence. Gauri went to Kamini's house disguised as a saleswoman. She managed to set up a small accident and thereby get a few drops of her blood on a handkerchief. Morever she also managed to place a camera and a voice grabber in the house.
Khanna had found some device which could easily tap Pinky's and Shakti's phone conversations and a similar device was set in Kamini's house too. Anika's plans working better then she would ever dream.
Khanna informed Anika that he had kept the CCTVs ON during Nayanthara's stay in the Mansion at Shivaay's insistence. Anika felt like hugging the man. Anika called up Om, Rudy & Gauri and sat through the videos. The saw how Pinky came out of the room after speaking to NT. And also how different signs were passed between the two during the staircase incident.
The boys had known the greyish layers of Pinky from long. But they couldn't believe that there was so much venom inside her. Omkara was seriously relived with the fact that Tej was in London. Or things would have taken a totally different turn, specially as Pinky had a hand in Priyanka's marriage.
The day 1 had almost come to an end leaving her with just two days for all the revelations. The DNA reports had to come making or breaking their life.The next step was the most difficult one for Anika. Breaking the truth or the half truth to Omkara.
She decided to spend the night in Saumya's room to prevent any kind of conversation with Shivaay.
