FInally we see Annika, the Bahu, Shivaay's wife, in action. Just as fiery as SSO, she is fully capable of handling any threats to her house in Shivaay's absence.
Before anyone gets mad at me for endorsing her rude manner of throwing an older woman out violently, I hated it too. But Annika is as fiery as SSO in defending the family, if not more violent. Shivaay doesn't get his hands dirty, he just throws money at it and then dusts his jacket and walks away.
Annika is the type who wades into the mud, pulls the crook out and whacks him with her chappal until the guy swears he will never make the same mistake again.
She has been shaking with fury that someone less than honourable has come pretending to be her mother, and trying to make a fast buck out of Shivaay and his family. The situation is pretty awful, if you step back and look at it in Annika's POV.
She hates being an inconvenience to anyone, fiercely independent, never a burden, and here HER 'mother' is being a huge problem , not to her personally, but to Shivaay and his family. If I were her, I'd take this woman out of the house and say I'll come meet you in your house, don't stay here. Finished.š But then the story will khatam also..š
A friend on twitter told me she suspects Pinky is still the one pulling the strings. Even if I pull you by the hair and toss you out of this house, you must find a way to come back and stay. Is this still Pinky's ploy? To increase the intensity of the drama, and make herself look the victim, distract Shivaay from discovering her involvement, actually throw him off balance completely.
He's thoroughly flabbergasted, despite all his braincells working full time. This no simple jalebi, This is a jalebi within a jalebi...š
Afterall his mothership is where he gets all his prejudices from, as ugly and fully formed as they come.
Even when Annika goes to console Pinky, she taunts the girl some more. Trash will be trash even when put inside a palace. š¤¢ (Somebody mix laxatives in her food please, for me)..
It broke my heart to hear Annika try to reason to the biggest villain in her love story, to justify that she can't be the daughter of such a woman. Why , Annika? What happened to, "I am me, Annika. I am what I am, what you see is what you get. Sirf Annika?" Poor thing is really messed up in the head.
She runs to Shivaay, heart in her hands, Please tell me she isn't my mother, please. You can see how much the emotional plea in her voice is upsetting Shivaay. He keeps eye contact fiercely with her, the seriousness in his expression it's obvious something is up.
He's being serious, not angry, not frustrated, not confused with his NKK, NOPE. He's is full damage control mode. And his mother cannot see it. Pinky thinks they are falling apart before her very eyes, but she must be blind not to see the visuals ..
The words he is saying to her may be bitter and difficult. But he is holding her close, protectively, no sign of any issues on his side over the gravity of that DNA result. See what he's doing Annika, not what he's saying. Shivaay has always been , a man of action not words.
So Pinky thought she won. Then Shivaay brought back Nayantara.
(I see it differently. Before, Pinky said even if she were to kick NT out, she must come back and stay put in the house. I think NT has taken liberties with that permission. She has a thirst for revenge and a 15 lakh price to be paid, or full exposure of Pinky's duplicity. I am watching PInky dance barefoot on hot bricks)

Pinky needs this. She made her moves on the chessboard, and finds herself being cornered by a more shrewd player. She thinks her opponent is Shivaay, but its turning out to be Nayantara. Shivaay is not even playing, he's being like an undercover cop right now.
Pinky's sights is on Annika, being ruined enough that she will leave Shivaay herself, feeling unworthy. But Shivaay is closer than ever, the blind bat doesn't even see it. She doesn't see that Nayantara is out for her hide, and has Shivaay is her hands, no one is asking HOW? With WHAT? WHY is Shivaay suddenly pandering to her?
Annika's crying clawed at my heart. She probably thinks this DNA report spells the end of her marriage to Shivaay..? You're wondering why she is crying like this, when few days ago she was mad at Shivaay for preventing her from meeting her mom, whoever she is, right?
Because Shivaay admitted that if this woman was really her mother, then he would have a problem with it. If this was her NKK truth, it mattered to him. She was mourning that very thing she was saying in the forest last week. What if you find something about my birth that will take you far away from me? That.
But she is forgetting what he said after. Whatever it may be, we'll deal with it. Together. However long it takes.
Annika has temporarily forgotten, as she is too upset to think straight. Shivaay has bigger worries than to repeat his reassurance right now, or explain his actions. But when she uses her brain and pieces together that he might be playing a ruse to catch the crook, it suddenly made sense to her.
SHe asks him, You're lying right? You're trying to trap that woman right? Tell me!!

But she still looks lost and devastated. And he leaves , not able to say any more that that.
Her tears claw at him, it hurts him just as much that he cannot go and make it all go away like he usually does.
Sahil. NT has Sahil. And that is the bigger upset Shivaay is hiding from Annika.
So, Nayantara has got Sahil and she's blackmailing Shivaay. It was Sahil on the phone yesterday, calling him to save him. That shock we saw in Shivaay was because Sahil was taken.
it is so good to see that Shivaay has taken Sahil as his family, giving him strength to even distance himself from Annika to do what is needed. If I have issues at all, is that he is able to calmly plot while Sahil is in actual trouble, with real gundas somewhere. Annika would be out of this world enraged. It isn't fair to keep this from her, IMHO.
But I suppose he has taken them as his family, and it's what he does for family. He handles things for them.
Pinky is in actual deep sh*t now. She is being taunted by NT and Shivaay takes the woman's side. To expose it would be to expose herself. That's the way to trap a rat. I hesitate to say thanks to NT because she is just as evil.
