Hi, Hello!!
Now that you're hear, read on. I hope you'd enjoy!!
Kiyun ki kabhi kabhi pyaar do logon ki bass ki baat nahi hoti!
He couldn't deny she had a charisma, standing there her arms folded, eyes set on his and nose in the air, there were no cracks in her armor. He felt his gaze caressing her features, the way sunlight played with her open strands, bringing out the hints of brown in the thicket of black. The way she bit into her plump lower lip, watching him turn the pages of the folder she had given him.
"Toh mila app ko kuch?" She inquired, approaching him, trying to peek into the documents in his hand. Omkara shut the file with a snap, scowling at her. To her credit, gone was the Gauri who flinched at his glares; Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi stared right into his eyes, with her projected innocence. "Iss mein kahi nahi likha ke, Sultana ji ke saat saat humein bhi iss ghar se jaana honga.." she mused aloud, watching a vein throb in his temple. Gauri took out another file. "Par, iss mein likha hai, ke aap ki biwi hone ki nate, yeh jo saara property hai, wo humara hua!" She was referring to the pre - nup he had signed with Svetlana. Omkara closed his eyes, sighing exasperatedly.
"I knew it!" He said then. "Mujhe pata ta, tumhari laalach kabhi na kabhi toh bhahar aa hi jaayenga!"
"Haan," she sat on the armrest of his chair, putting a hand over his shoulders to steady herself. He should push her off right? Then why couldn't he move? Omkara wondered gazing up into those paralyzing espresso eyes. "Ab aap isse sauda samjhe ya pyaar, hum apni haq liye bina toh nahi jaane wale."
"Saaf saaf batao, kya chahiye tumhe?" He was exhausted with it all. First Svetlana, and now Gauri. All this greedy women after his money. At least Svetlana didn't pretend to be innocent to his foolish family, like she was doing. They were readily eating out from her palm these days. Omkara prepared himself to hear a massive amount being quoted, something with the highest number of zeroes this illiterate knows.
"Teacher -" she said abruptly.
"Kya?"
"Humein ek teacher chahiye. Humein phir se parna hai, ab jab apne paas itne saare paise aagaye hai toh, kiyun na hum -"
Her voice trailed off as Omkara tried to come in terms with his astonishment. She wanted to resume her studies? From all the things she could have asked from him, Gauri needed a teacher? He watched his wife doubtfully, trying to distinguish any hidden agenda in this demand. But she was blubbering away, of all those things she'd do once she complete her studies. For the hundredth time his heart whispered to his brain, "Are you sure you're right about her?"

Behind the pillar, Bua Ma clapped her hands together. Her Bhahu could give A list actors a run for their money. She watched the scene unfolding before her and mentally patted herself for writing such a good script fort her. Omkara looked stunned she thought with glee. True, she loved her Omkie, but it was also true that with Jhanvi's gentle heart he had inherited Tej's foul mouth too. Sometimes he had no idea what his words could inflict on other people.
"Sorry Omkie Shomkie," she muttered to herself. "Kabhi kabhi tu itna bada ghada hai ki, humein yeh karna pada. Now taste your own medicine hon!"
She went away, humming a song under her breath. Her work there was done, for the moment. The rest her Bhahu can take care of.
