Sorry but i'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. How is the essence of the future confession ruined by their proximity? I don't get it. People can be physical with each other before saying "i love you". Tbh they don't even need to say it cause their actions are enough but anika as a character i feel like needs a verbal confirmation so it will happen in the future. But i don't think that them getting close has anything to do with the confession. They could sleep with each other before the confession and it still would be just as beautiful. The whole you can sleep with your partner only after marriage and i love you needs to go away.

I kind of like their relation this way. There's a subtle understanding between the two. Anika without saying those 3 words has revealed way more, and somewhere shivaay knows it. I feel their care, trust and love for eachother is so evident in their expressions that words don't matter anymore. It's beautiful this way and I hope they keep it this way.
But, yeah this doesn't mean I don't want a self realization scene on Shivaay's part, like anika's ghanti scenes. I want them both to realize that they both love eachother without any verbal confession or before any verbal confession. Confession will happen someday, but I hope they don't need any assurance with words.

am going to have to disagree. Firstly Logically speaking, two people who feel things for each other cannot keep distance. Period. It's unrealistic, no one has that much of control, not even SSO. Secondly, does it really needs to be said. The words. I mean actions always do speak louder than words. That man is ready to sideline his ideologies for life, for this girl, isn't that enough. Of course, Anika needs it & he will say it bcoz of that whenever his Tubelight gets lite, but like he said, he will say it in character, in his style.
So nope. And wouldn't it be weird, if they suddenly start getting physical after the confession. Everything needs build up, even chemistry. It doesn't develop in a day. So no, I don't feel it's wrong or weird.

I think confession is overrated and also redundant in shivika case. They both have said so many other big words. But in TV shows its essential it seems. 😆 Anika might need that verbal assurance. Shivaay might need to say it if any situation due to any past drama creates rift.

Physicality between two ppl highly attracted to each other is very very normal... Confession Has nuthing to do with physical intimacy... If u may understand... Physical intimacy is the attraction /lust part of a relationship while confession is the love part... For Any relationship to work well there needs to be love as well as lust... Physical attraction to ur partner is a must else iT is a platonic relationship...
What shivika are sharing is beautiful... They hvnt Even hone beyond in their relationship... Even in normal relationships ppl go much further in physicality without confession or even life long commitments... Here They r married... Married couples in arranged marriage don't confess love for each other till very later... It's all about physicality initially... With shivika They hv a fair idea what they share... What The other feels... Just Coz they hvnt said the words doesn't mean they don't mean or know what they mean to each other... N Ofcourse They r both attracted to each other... What's wrong in that... Loving The way they r slowly getting physically closer n also comfortable with each other... Do u think anyone can become physically intimate suddenly post confession?

Confession has nothing to do with physical proximity.
Two people who love each other and live in the same house same room actually can not keep distance so it's normal.
And in case of ShivIka, they are still very awkward (Anika if not Shivay) so after confession they'll feel comfortable with each other!

I agree confession n physically intimacy are different things and doesn't need to come in a particular order.
And i believe confession doesn't always mean "I love you". Shivay saying that she is his wife is a big declaration. And anika understand it. And confession doesn't ve to verbal too n can be conveyed through action.
I know anika need verbal assurance but shivay is not good with words so they ve to meet halfway.

Shivika are unique, their feelings have gone beyond words, so how three words can catch the essence of their love. They are different because they don't need to repeat i love you, i love you too many times a day. That's why i love them more. 😳
