I dont think it'll make sense to make Anika come from a rich background... the struggle for Shivaay will be over then. He needs to learn how to fully accept Anika without NKK.

I dnt thnk so...otherwise no meaning of shivika's journey...after knowing anika's past it will be shivay's journey how he overcomes his nkk obsession...

I really don't think that it matters weather she from a rich family or not because I think shivay has accepted her as his wife but the whole finding out about her background is not to see if her family was rich or poor. I don't think shivay is bothered anymore weather she's from a big family, because until a couple of days ago he knew she was from a middle class family and that was fine with him and even after finding out that she is an orphan he still wants her with him. So even when she tried to leave him he forced her to come back and asked her to be angry with him is fine but she can do that at home. So the whole finding out about her background is just a formality to answer the questions in his mind. His problem isn't who her parents are but the not knowing of who they are.
