I was waiting for the episode today before I could comment on your post yesterday. I wanted to give the writers one final benefit of doubt.
Alas as usual I stand disappointed 😕 .
They are slowing killing shivika (if not already dead).
Donot understand why these contradicting scenes and dialogues.
Shivaay plays dard dard, Do u like it, Blush, thaadna and what not games with her.
DElivers dialogues like , when you look at me my heart skips a beat , and next moment we get a scene where we are lead to believe, Shivaay has not accepted Annika as his life partner.
And Annika play along with Shivaay all the above mention games, she adds her own tadka and flirts with her husband, is shown confident enough to challenge him to accept that he his heart beat rises , he longes for her and infact he has become an ISHQBAAZ , then next scene she writes off all these as just friendship..
I am totally lost. Like you mentioned, the most memorable, enjoyable shivika scenes looses their meaning.
I have repeatedly tried to reach out to the writer via tweets and INSTA but never get a reply. Nor an explanation for all this inconsistency..
Now all of a sudden the NKK elephant is back in the room. And irony is this is being jammed down our senses using the most clichd track, SAAS BAHU saga..
There also inconsistency. shivaay from day one was shown not to have a gr8 relationship with his parents. For that matter, the writers even had the dialogue where he very emotionally delivers the dialogue, that my mother gives more value to money than me .
Now suddenly the same mother is shown going thru insecurities and Jealousy. Is show playing peeping tom .. Pathetic.
I am not sure where the story is heading.. But I am very upset with what they are do with shivika.
When Mahi was introduced, unlike many here , I loved the track and the idea which I thot is behind it .
I am guilty of still liking Mahi. But I was never for the fact that just to glorify Mahi, take away screen space from other important main characters.
Last day we got an action scene which ran for nearly 8 min. I loved watching Mahi, his stunts, his emotional break down etc. I even felt sorry for him. Mahi owned the episode !!! I was ok with a side character taking up so much SS, because I thot they are going somewhere with the track. May be to address the NKK prejudice of Shivaay. But now I see after the 6 weeks of building up the char Mahi and creating sympathy in some of us gullible viewers, the writer may have decided to put him on to the side burner..
IB is a spiderweb of tracks. Lots gets kick started but most never find a proper ending.
Characters flip every other epiodes. JEEZ now a days in the same episode.
I seriously wish the IB team would decide where they want to go with this story and stick with it..
Either they want to show shivaay realizing that he is in love and head that way , or decide not to and move story forward accordingly.
One moment it looks like he is going to realize his love and next moment we are back to NKK and what not..
Confusing the S*** out of me ..
Oh well, if I donot like it , I should stop watching right ? May be that is what I will do ..
PS..
In all this TRP increased to 2.8 from 2.4.. So I guess the fault is in me and not the makers
