Shivika OS: Rescue
| Prompt: Annika invades the place Shivaay is being held captive. |
*********************************************************
It was night. Annika, Omkara, and Rudra had reached the warehouse that she located Shivaay would be at. The three stood away from this warehouse at a far distance. It was surrounded by a field, there were these strange electromagnetic lines running through the area. Annika didn't exactly understand them but they were likely dangerous. The woman frowned in anger as she looked at the warehouse, knowing that her husband was locked up in there. Omkara held Annika's shoulder for reassurance. Omkara could feel her rage about to explode over like a volcano.
"Do you guys think Shivaay-bhaiya is alright in there?" Rudra asked, feeling worried for his older brother's safety. The same older brother that put his family's safety before his own. The same older brother that stood against the world like a wall to protect the people he loves. "Bhaiya has to be alright, he just has to be." Rudra thought to himself, as he felt anxious.
Omkara looked towards his younger brother. "I hope so, but he'll be even better once we get him out of here.. That's for sure." Omkara spoke with determination filling his voice.
Annika continued to stare at the line. She knew she probably wouldn't be able to get across through these lines, so she hollered for her friend. "Khannaji! Cut the electricity in the area somehow." Annika spoke as she looked around; there were barely any guards in sight. It was probably to make it seem less suspicious, but they were fools if they think they can keep Shivaay Singh Oberoi locked up for so long and go unseen.
"But ma'am, if we do that, they'll know we are here." Shivaay's ever faithful security guard, Khanna responded with respect to his boss's wife. Khanna stood behind Annika, listening to her order, but knowing it was a risky move.
"I know, we'll drag their attention somewhere else and, in the meantime, I'll sneak in to get Shivaay out. Om, Ru, help Khannaji with that." Annika explained her plan to Khannaji as simple as possible. She expected Khanna to leave the rest to her as they distracted the kidnappers with the electromagnetic lines turning off. As long the kidnappers don't realize anyone had infiltrated, it would divide the men in the area, making it easier to thin them down.
"You can't go in alone, Annika. That's too dangerous." Omkara turned to his bhabhi. He interjected into Annika's plan. It was too reckless. Omkara knew she wanted to get Shivaay back, but this was crazy. If she's alone they could capture her. They had to think of another way. Rudra was also shocked. "Bhaiya was right. Annika bhabhi's nickname 'Jhansi ki Rani' was accurate." His bhabhi was truly one-of-a-kind.
"Not unless the kidnappers realize that two Oberoi brothers have assembled outside their home. They'd have to bring out lots of men to capture you too. And if they do that, they would be divided. We hit them from two sides and they'll be too distracted. I know the plan is reckless, but it'll work. Why you fear when Annika is here?" Annika sounded lighthearted, she was not at all afraid to enter enemy territory alone. That's probably because Shivaay would have acted the same thing if it was the other way around.
After agreeing, Khanna left to get to the power switch in the area. After some time had passed, the plan was in action. The lines were turned off and as expected, people came to see what happened. Khanna and the security team distracted the kidnappers as they approached to stop them.
Annika used this moment to slip in and try to rescue her husband. As she entered the building, past the door, she noticed things lying around. The place was somewhat dirty. That made her worry about Shivaay, he could suffer from another attack. "These idiots..." Annika was filled with rage. If they wanted to kidnap him, couldn't they atleast take better care of him. They obviously wanted him alive.
Annika grabbed a pipe that was littered on the ground like garbage. She glanced at it as she picked it up. Annika had a feeling there would be more guards inside, and they were probably physically stronger than her too. Fighting them without a weapon would be a horrible idea. Annika thought to use Chameli, but she might not as effective as this long pipe rod.
Annika, pipe in hand, walked into the building, she started looking around. Annika could feel her husband, he was close. Shivaay had to be here, he just had to. As Annika walked around, she noticed the guards running around. They must have learned that there was an attack on the electric lines. Annika thought to hide but there wasn't much place to hide in a long corridor. Annika was spotted, two guards ran towards her. Annika, unflinched by their presence, swung her pipe across the face of the first guard that approached her, most likely breaking his jaw. And just like that, Annika went from Parvati to Durga, into her demon-fighting form to save her beloved husband from those who would do him harm. With her pipe as her trishul (trident) counterpart in hand to slay evil, Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi was ready to fight.
The second guard tried to swing a punch at Annika, but she ducked under it and hit him with the pipe on his back, bringing the guard to the ground. Annika then started beating the second guard to make sure he wouldn't try to get up. After a few beatings, she knelt down and grabbed the second guard's collar. "Where is Shivaay?!" Annika yelled as she shook the guard, demanding an answer from him. "Tell me!" Annika continued to demand but the guard seemed to be too paralyzed from Annika's wrath to respond that he had no idea.
Frustrated, Annika let him go and grabbed her pipe. Annika began running around, looking for her husband, hoping to god if he was alright. If there was even a scratch on Shivaay, Annika would raise hell against everyone who played a part in this kidnapping. "Guards just had to be useless didn't they?" Annika complained in her head as she tried to figure out where Shivaay was being kept.
Annika was running around, she noticed cameras around the area. Annika realized they were probably watching her from the moment she entered the premise. Annika didn't care, if they come for her, she could try to get information out of one of the guards, assuming they know anything.
As Annika had predicted, guards were coming after her. There were 3 this time. Annika knocked out the first guard in one swing to the head using the pipe. Annika turned to face the guard, but before she could swing, she was punched across the face by the second guard. Annika staggered backward a few steps, she maintained her balance. Annika turned toward the guard with more rage as her pipe swung through the second guard's face a second later, knocking out the guard.
As soon the second guard went down, Annika screamed out. "Shivaay!!!" Annika called out to her husband as she fought for his life, for their life. Annika's voice resonated with concern as she tried reaching out to Shivaay, trying to close the distance that a select few had tried to create between them.
Elsewhere...
Shivaay, who was lost in thought about how he would escape this prison and return home to his family, looked up quickly. His heart started beating faster. Shivaay stood up moments later. He could feel her... He could feel Annika. Annika was calling out to him, he just knew it. Annika was here wasn't she? "Annika!!!" Shivaay called out to his wife as he felt relieved and worried at the same time. Shivaay hoped to God that Annika was safe. Shivaay had to get out of this dumb place and find her.
Shivaay took notice to the electromagnetic lines being gone. "Is Annika here? Did she do all this? It has to be her, if she's here, I have no reason to sulk around here." Shivaay thought to himself as he made his way to the door. Shivaay proceed to try and kick down the door.
The third guard tried to punch Annika, however she successfully ducked under and struck the back of the guard's knee. The guard fell to the ground. Annika knelt down to him. "Where is the man you have been keeping here prisoner..." Annika asked calmly. Her voice hid a fury that could burst out at any given moment. The man could not see her face, but was very sure she was enraged. The poor guard was unable to answer in time. "TELL ME!" Annika screamed at the guard this time, he was startled. The guard pointed to the right, revealing where Shivaay should be. Annika began walking in that direction; she felt she was getting closer to Shivaay. This had to be the correct way to go.
After some effort, Shivaay kicked the door. Panting in exhaust of having to kick so many times. Shivaay caught his breath and proceed to walk out the door and into the hall. He tried to look for Annika. Shivaay could feel she was close. Shivaay was restless, he wanted to see Annika... He wanted to see his family. Shivaay must've figured how worried they were for him.
At the power-box area, it was full-on rumble. OmRu, Khanna, and various Oberoi security guards were fighting the men that tried to turn the power back on and capture the invader. Team OmRu were doing their best to buy as much time for Annika to save Shivaay and get out of there. Omkara had already called a chopper to help them escape when the time was right. It would have been arriving shortly.
Shivaay made his way through the corridor. Shivaay saw a man in the distance standing there. It obviously wasn't Annika. As Shivaay had gotten closer, he noticed it was that Masked Man that had taunted him earlier. Of course, he'd just have to stand in his way. "Where are you going, Shivaay Singh Oberoi? No one said you were allowed to leave." The Masked Man spoke arrogantly as he imposed his supposed superiority onto the businessman.
"Shivaay Singh Oberoi doesn't take orders from you. I do whatever I want." Shivaay answered back with attitude. Shivaay was clearly unafraid of this man. Shivaay was going to escape at all costs, he was going to have to beat this man if wanted to leave.
"You can do whatever you want, but you shouldn't overestimate your body. You haven't been properly fed and knocking that door down must have tired you out. Are you sure you can actually get passed me?" The Masked Man informed Shivaay. The Masked Man simply stood there as Shivaay got close enough before stopping.
Annika, running through the corridor, looked to see two men standing across from each other. Annika was ready to knock both of them out. As she got closer, she noticed that one of the men was Shivaay. Annika could recognize those kanji eyes anywhere. She stopped running and started walking slowly
The Masked Man heard footsteps coming from behind him, he turned to see Annika much to his annoyance. It seems that they already gotten in. "So much for tight security." The Masked Man groaned as the couple spot each other.
Shivaay saw Annika and called out. "Annika!" How he wanted to hold her in his arms and never let go. Shivaay noticed the pipe in her hand and bruise on her face. Shivaay's eyes widen with rage. A scratch on Annika. Who had the audacity to do such a thing and think they'd be getting away alive. Shivaay's fist clenched slowly with increasing anger.
"Shivaay!" Annika extended her arm into the air, but alas, the Masked Man stood in their way like a wall between her and Shivaay. The final obstacle keeping them apart. As Annika stepped forward, the lights turned back on. Annika, Shivaay, and the Masked Man stared at the ceiling, but only the Masked Man smiled.
"Looks like you're both trapped here now." The Masked Man laughed. If the lights were back on, that means the electromagnetic lines were too, thus escaping would become immensely more difficult. Annika cursed. Annika looked behind her, as if she were looking in the direction of OmRu. Annika started worrying for them. Annika composed herself and turned around to the Masked Man again.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that. My devars don't exactly know how to let me down. I wouldn't start your victory party just yet." Annika smirked at the Masked Man and his arrogance. Annika was going to take immense pleasure in showing him the door very soon. "Until then, let's take care of this. Shall we?"
At the power-box area, someone had gotten passed Omkara and turned the power back. Rudra cursed. Annika-bhabhi was still inside, they had to do something. Omkara and Khanna were too busy. Rudra took it upon himself to turn the power back off. Rudra punched the man, who turned the power back on, in the face to move him out of the way. "Rudra!" Omkara called out to his younger brother, warning him of danger, kicking one of the attackers on him out of his way. Rudra turned around, he noticed someone with a stick coming after him to stop him. As the stick was swung at him, he grabbed it and kicked the man and took the stick.
Rudra turned to the power-box, stick in hand. Looking at the stick, Rudra thought of a genius idea. Enough of this game of back and forth. If the power-box is the problem, get rid of it. Rudra swung the stick at the power-box. The power-box began to short circuit, and shortly turned off again- permanently. Rudra screamed in delight. "Rudyyy, you're such a genius!"
Back with Shivaay, Annika, and the Masked Man, they had already started fighting. It was Shivaay and Annika against the Masked Man together. Shivaay swung his fist at the Masked Man, who had grabbed Shivaay's arm and punched him in return. As the man stood in place, Annika hit his shoulder with her pipe from behind. The Masked Man groaned in pain. He held onto his shoulder. He stepped back to create distance between him and his opponents. This was their plan, while the Masked Man focused on one of them, the other struck another blow. That was Shivika's unspoken teamwork. At that moment, the lights shut off again.
Annika and Shivaay smiled with victory. "See, I told you so. My devars don't know how to disappoint me. I can always depend on them to have my back." Annika spoke with pride about OmRu, as they turned the tables against their enemy because of them. Shivaay walked toward Annika, as they looked at the Masked Man's defeated face.
"Shut up!" The Masked Man was enraged. He raced to attack the lovers. Shivaay stepped in the way and kept the Masked Man in place. Annika raced behind the Masked Man and hit quickly hit him on the head, knocking him unconscious. Annika and Shivaay sighed with relief.
"Annika."
"Shivaay."
The couple raced to each other as they called out to each other. They embraced each other in a hug. Annika had dropped her pipe as she embraced her husband. She was so happy. It was him. He was safe, in her arms. Shivaay hugged Annika tightly, as if he were trying to regain his strength from the woman. "I'm so glad you're here... You saved me again..." Shivaay looked at Annika, eye-to-eye.
"No, I saved myself, because without you, I.. I-"
"I know." Shivaay interrupted her. He held onto her face, stroking her cheek. Annika's eyes closed as she felt his hand on her. Shivaay stared at the wound on her cheek, it made him mad. "Who hit you? Where is he?" Shivaay asked coldly. Annika's eyes slowly opened. She could see the anger in his eyes; it was not directed at her, but they were enraged.
"Forget that. What matters most is that I found you and you're alright" Annika held onto Shivaay's face. Annika smiled, she was in pain, but she felt happy that she found Shivaay. As long as he was okay, it didn't matter. But Shivaay disagreed.
"No, we are not forgetting this! Annika, why are you here?! How did you get here? You got hurt... What if something had happened to you? Why did you have to take such a big risk by yourself?!" Shivaay yelled as he reprimanded Annika for her actions, with his voice filled with concern for his idiot wife. This girl was so reckless.
"Woah, one minute... So, what did you want me to do? Should I sit at home twiddling my thumbs like a helpless woman, praying to God and starting an entire aarti for you like one of those gopi bahus on Star Plus, so that you can come home safely? No no, tell me.. What did you think I was going to do? You were in trouble, I am not going to watch quietly." Annika scolded Shivaay back, making her point through her tadi at the same. Shivaay was being ridiculous. Who could possibly sit back and do nothing, where was the logic? Shivaay and Annika stopped for a moment. They stared at each other, meeting eye to eye, as if time itself had stopped. They began to laugh. Even at a time like, they were fighting. They were so weird.
Shivaay and Annika made their way out of the building. There they met up with Omkara and Rudra outside, who were practically in tears to see their brother safe and sound. The three of them began hugging each other. "I'm back." Shivaay spoke, as he kissed Rudra on the head, ruffling his hair like a little kid. Shivaay held onto his brothers as if they were his lifeline.
"We're glad you're safe. You know we're not about to let you go that easily. It's either us or them." Om assured his older brother that everything was alright. "And there can never not be us!" Rudra added in for old time's sake. They all laughed as they hugged once more before the moment was gone.
The helicopter had landed, ready to pick them up and take them home. Shivaay, Annika, Omkara, and Rudra got on promptly as it had arrived, not waiting for it to land. The sooner they would leave, the sooner they would be at home - where they are happy. Back to Oberoi Mansion.
