A black Mercedes Benz stopped in the front of the hall gate. The new supermodel of Panache has arrived. The cameramen flocked in front of the person to get the best picture for their respective magazines blocking the Oberois' view of the most awaited lady of the evening.

0:27-0:41

The girl walked down as the reporters moved to the sides; waving high in the air. He was shocked as were all the Oberois; though the confidence on her face shone, but it seemed to have taken away her innocence. Once all the reporters were behind her, she came; looking straight, turned and gave the showstopper pose.

0:42-1:09

The organiser runs towards her.

"Welcome... Welcome, Saumya ma'am, he whispers to Saumya as they air-kisses. And then he goes on to the mike:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome- The new face of Panache- SAUMYA TENDULKAR

The beautiful face made the people, present at the event, ignore the shocked faces of the Oberois. The CEO of Panache, Arjun Srivastava went towards Jhanvi Singh Oberoi.

"I told you Mrs.Oberoi, for JanOb collections, we would give you the best face. Your fashion line would be promoted by a supermodel and Saumya is the best choice.

Jhanvi Singh Oberoi had decided to live her life. On being persisted by Gauri and Anika, she decided to open her fashion line- with the jewellery she had got from her home, years ago. She hadn't yet divorced Tej Singh Oberoi & left that part to be decided by destiny. For now, she'll make her name and do what she loves: business.

Arjun started introducing Oberois to Saumya when she interrupted him.

"They are well-known to me Arjun. You remember I told you about my family friends with whom I used to stayed with; they are them.

Then Arjun left them for a while. Her confident portrayal confused the long-haired Oberoi a bit but her next sentence to Dadi did show him what his rakhi-sister has lost.

"Pair nahi chooungi, supermodel hun. Suit nahi karega, Dadi. Bas iss Namaste' ko hi mera izzat dena maan lijiyega.

ShivIka's eyes widened with shock at the attitude of the cute & bubbly Saumya they used to know. Gauri, who has heard a lot about Saumya from her husband, was stunned. The other Oberois were speechless, but the most petrified look was held by Rudra. He could see that his energetic, caring & adorable Saumya is lost due to his harsh words & ignoring behaviour towards her since she lacked a slim figure.

1:10-1:23

Rudra's gaze kept following her everywhere & finally, when he saw he has a chance to talk, he moved towards her but before he could say anything.

"Mujhse baat karne ke liye, everyone needs to take an appointment & you are not different. Agar kuch kehena hai toh talk to my secretary, he is there, Saumya voice was cold.

Rudra stared at the girl before him with sheer disbelief & guilty eyes.

"What have I turned her into!! The sweet & cute Sumo is gone...not a little glimpse of her!!, Rudra reminisced mentally.

Before he could utter anything, Arjun came there & spoke, "I am sorry Rudra, I have to borrow Saumya for a second.

"Why say sorry, Arjun. I was meaning to come anyway. After all, I am here for the event not to chit-chat with random people, Saumya shot Rudra a standoffish glance before pulling Arjun & walking away.

Rudra felt guilty at how the things have changed her. He had been bitter to her but not because she was at fault but because of circumstances & his own mentality. It was their marriage which had caused so much trouble to his brother; least he had known at that time that destiny was playing its role to let him meet Gauri. But the damage to Saumya had been done.

1:23-1:37

She cut the inauguration cake along with Arjun and Jhanvi. Arjun had those rights being the CEO of Panache. After all he had the best modelling agency in India.

The two elder Oberoi brothers' visions kept jumping from their younger sibling to the lady of the moment. ShivKara noticed that Rudra held a shildy expression while observing Saumya's changed behaviour. ShivKara saw how intently Rudra looked at her, while she was posing for the cameras along with Arjun.

1:37-2:06

After the photo session, she came near her two friends, her colleagues from office- her PR manager and the assistant to Arjun who were chatting with Tej and Shivaay at the moment with the younger Oberoi brothers standing close to them. And then, a guy came, posh looking and almost begging Saumya to accept his love to which she refused with politeness yet rigidity. The two friends smiled wickedly towards each other and decided to pull Saumya's leg.

"Saumya, he is a nice boy, you see. Business bhi hai uske Dad ka.Tumhe uska dil nahi todna chahiye tha.

And, this statement made Saumya glance at Rudra with the eyes that he had never recognized. Losing his brother to a shadow of his was enough for him; this he wasn't even able to gulp down his throat when something felt as if it was a tight slap on his face.

"Oh c'mon Shanaya. She is NOT a third grade girl jiska only dream is to be a rich spoilt brat's doormat. She is the bloody face of Panache, a supermodel. Of course she needs someone who is much more than that, the other girl snorted.

Well, the truth was she didn't want anyone for that matter. Things had just happened in her life and she was here, a supermodel, which she had never thought of.

2:07-2:34

"Jo hum sochte hain wo kabhi hota nahi hai aur jo hota hai, uss par humara bas nahi chalta. Long and short of the story- chill guys! Jab kisiko mere liye aana hoga aa jaayega. I have to go, official inauguration is about to begin, Saumya uttered before leaving the side of two girls.

Soon, the stage was brought to the spotlight and Arjun & Jhanvi walked announcing the inaugural of fashion line.

Next was Saumya's turn. Her grace did portray her confidence and brought radiance to her face- which calmed Rudra, who had been blaming himself for all of that till now; most of all for changing Saumya. Perhaps, all changes weren't for worse. At least he hoped so, in her case.

2:35-3:58

The stage was now occupied with other models who presented few designs from the fashion line.

But then, there was something else that he noticed. The person who was receiving a lot of attention after his Sumo- perhaps, the lead supermodel looked at her with lustful eyes. Rudra had always flirted with girls, yet maintained a distance- which would make him cross his limits and that, made him clearly differentiate the supermodel's behaviour, who he came to know was some Praneet Singhania. Rudra clenched his fists as he saw Saumya smiling & posing with Praneet while holding hands. She is supposed to be his wife since they have never taken a divorce officially. How can that guy touch his wife!

"Main tumhara PATI nhi hun..., Rudra remembered saying this to Saumya in the flight where she had saved him & the others from the psycho hijacker.

His face fell & he pursed his lips to suppress the erupting emotions inside him. It was his entire fault. He has always taunted Saumya about her being fat. And here she is now, standing with confidence, shining brightly in the best vibrant dress designed by his mother. The smug look on her face made him flinch with disappointed as he knew that his sarcasms & comments have led her to become what she never thought she could be.

He glared at Praneet, who was now standing at the front of the ramp with his hand wrapped around Saumya's slim waist. Rudra couldn't take the scene anymore & stormed off from the place to get fresh air.

ShivKara followed him outside.

Time- 9:30 pm

"Om, lagta hai humare bhai ko apne decision pe regret ho raha hai

Both ShivKara now thought that Rumya were in love. Her changing for him and him being pained at seeing the change confirmed that to them and hence, they'd come to tease him a bit. The paradox of being the youngest is this: since, the elder brothers had gone through what he was- they sometimes failed to understand the intensity of his feelings at the moment.

"Aisa kuch nahi hai, Rudra's guard was up.

However, brothers they were. They understood that it was exactly as they thought and the difficult denial mode was on. They looked at each other knowing what's going in their minds and mentally agreed to make the brother happy.

"Shivaay, jab OBros saath hote hain toh kya koi sad ho sakta hai? Om nudged Rudra.

"Bilkul Nahi...

"Toh ho jaye??, chanted Shivaay.

"Dil Bole...OBEROI

The chant wasn't like always as it missed Rudy's voice but he hugged them and they caressed his back knowing the situation he was in.

Time- 10:12 pm

(Back in the hall where the inauguration event is going on)

The Obros came back to the hall where the event was at full swing. The professional models were carrying the JanOb dressing line with grace.

The last to come was Saumya once again, as the showstopper along with Janhvi Singh Oberoi as she was the designer. Arjun Srivastava joined them at the stage later.

Rudra had mixed feelings. Her independence made him proud but the path she had chosen made him felt as if he was the cause. And for now, more than that he was worried about that male supermodel, Praneet, who was continuously passing Saumya cheap lusty glances throughout the event.

"I need to talk to her..., Rudra thought.

Rudra saw Saumya going towards washroom. When he saw she was out of everyone's sight, he pulled Saumya with the right he used to exercise on her before and brought her to a corner.

"Tumhe idea bhi hai ki wo cheap despo tumhare saath kya karne ka iraada rakhta hai!?, Rudra pinned Saumya to the wall below a staircase beside the washroom.

"Leave me, Rudra...Just get your hands off me, Saumya slammed.

"I won't...First you listen to me. That male supermodel,Praneet...wo tumhe kis nazar se dekh raha tha, haven't you noticed?!, Rudra's annoyed expression & irked voice was enough to tell Saumya that he was jealous & insecure of Praneet yet protective towards Saumya.

"And who are you to tell me all this? Main apna khayal khud rakh sakti hun, Saumya tried to loosen his grip while keeping her voice strong.

"Woh toh dikh hi raha hai, Rudra peered intensely at her eyes.

"Aur ye bhi ki tumhe meri kitni parwah hai, Rudra. Isliye shayad tum mujhse uss din flight mein waise baat kiye the. Better would be that you remember your words, Saumya was at last successful in pushing away Rudra's hands off her shoulder.

"Tum mujhse badla lene ke liye ye sab kar rahi hona?, Rudra's tone was culpable.

"Give me a break Rudra! Ye world tumhare aage peechhe nahi ghumta hai. I am doing it because I felt like it...Ok, I don't deny that I did want to prove something- but to myself, more than anyone else. I have moved on Rudra, as you said, Saumya's smug look & confident mask was back on her face.

He was engulfed by guilt as she said those words. Weren't friends supposed to understand that the other is angry because of the situation? But he was at fault. She had forgiven him when he had shouted at her near the swimming pool blaming her for everything; she was angry in the flight that she had saved him and he had only insulted her. No doubt it had been his fault.

Saumya walked away leaving him to cope with his burdened heart alone. Two pairs of sad eyes looked at each other & two hands clutched each other since the ears overheard the whole RuMya conversation.

Time- 11:20 pm

Rudra was sitting on the staircase that led to the basement of the building. He was feeling suffocated inside & hence brought himself to this isolated place.

"Rudra, Anika placed her hand on his right shoulder.

"Bhabhi...aap? Kuch kehena tha?, his volume was dull & lack his usual energy.

"Haan, Rudy...hume aur bhaujayi--humara matlab Bhabhi ko tumse baat karni hai, Gauri took his left side.

Rudra oscillated his head to & fro from Gauri to Anika & then back to Gauri.

"Lekin Gauri Bhabhi, main iss waqt thoda akela rehena chahta hun. Agar aap dono ki baat ekdum urgent na ho toh please baad mein baat kare?, he sounded upset.

AniRi exchanged glances & Anika spoke up, "Isiliye toh hume tumse baat karni hai...Rudra, hum tumse Saumya k bare mein baat karne aaye hain

Rudra looked at Anika's direction & replied, "Nhi Bhabhi, uske bare mein baat karne k liye ab kuch nhi bacha. She has changed drastically, aur ye sab meri wajah se ho raha hai. Meri hi galati se aaj Saumya aisi bann gayi hai.

Anika rubbed his shoulder to comfort him.

"Rudy, tum itne udaas matt ho. Uu ka hain a, hum v chiraiya hain isiliye e baat jaante hain ki wo abhi ka mehsoos kar rahi hogi aur kyun uu tumse itni khafa hai, Gauri stroke Rudra's head affectionately.

"Gauri bilkul thik bol rahi hai. Rudra, hum sab jaante hain ki aaj jiss ladki ko humne dekha hai wo humari Saumya nhi thi. Haalaton ne use badalne par majboor kiya hai.Nhi toh humari Saumya Dadi se itne mahino baad milne par pair na chooye aisa ho hi nhi sakta, Anika chimed in.

"Meri pyaari bhabhiyan, aap dono mujhse bahut pyaar karti hain hain isiliye uske badlaao mein meri galati shayad aap logon ko nhi dikh rahi! Par aaj aap ne jiss Saumya ko dekha wo meri taanon ki wajah se, mere bure bartaav ki wajah se badli hai, aur ye baat wo maane ya na maane, main jaanta hun ye hi sach hai, Rudra gave a guilt-filled sad smile.

"Ari Saumya chiraiya jaisi dikh rahi hain waisi hain nhi. Uu k andar aaj v tumhari purani wali Saumya kahin na kahin hai, bas uss purani wali Saumya ko jagana hai tumhe, Gauri said with confidence.

"Par Gauri Bhabhi, aap ne dekha na uska behaviour!? Meri Sumo hoti toh O se zarur baat karti...kyunki O use behen maante hain ye baat Sumo acche se jaanti hai, utna hi nhi Sumo khud v O ko rakhi bandhti thi. Par aaj usne O k taraf dekhe tak nhi. Galati toh maine kiya tha, taane use maine maara, par usne toh aap sab se muh pher liya. Wo Bhaiya se meri shikayat kar sakti thi. Mere kaanon mein aaj v Bhaiya k thappar ki goonj sunayi deti hai jab unhe humari shaadi k bare mein pata chala tha. Mere dono bhai mere nhi balki Saumya k side pe the. Unn dono ko meri decision se zyada uske decision ka intezaar tha. Aur unhi do bade bhaiyon se usne aaj baat karna toh dur, mud kar v nhi dekha!! She not only insulted me, but my whole family. Attitude mujhe deti...par meri family ki kya galati thi!, Rudra was in verge of breakdown.

Anika caressed his back while Gauri held his hands to console him as tears slowly made their way out of Rudra's eyes.

"Rudra, main maanti hun ki Saumya badal gayi hai, par main ye v jaanti hun ki Gauri v sach bol rahi hai. Saumya kitni v badal jaaye, uske andar wo simple si sweet si Saumya hamesha zinda rehegi. Shivaay ne mere saath jo kuch bura kiya tha, uss sab se main v ubhar kar bhar aayi na? Waqt k saath humne ek dusre ko maan liya, ek dusre k saath chalna seekh gaye...thi waise hi Om aur Gauri ne v ek dusre ki khamiyon k saath ek dusre se pyaar kiya, aaj wo dono v apas mein mil-jhulkar rehete hain. Jab itna kuch se guzarne k baad Shivaay aur mujh mein pyaar hai, Om aur Gauri mein pyaar hai, toh bharosa rakho uss pyaar ki taqat pe aur apni purani Saumya ko dil se bulao. Mujhe pura bharosa hai ki wo zarur aayegi, Anika cheered him.

"Aur nhi toh ka!! Anika Bhabhi bilkul sahi hain. Aur phir Rudy, Omkara hamesha humse kehete hain ki Rudra ladkiyon k maamle mein hum teen bhaiyon mein sabse nipoon hai, kisi v ladki ko mana sakta hai...toh phir tum apna----uu ka kehete hain---repu...haan reputasion---uu kaise kharab kar sakte ho!! Aur phir Saumya tumri khud ki patni hai. Patni kitna v rooth jaaye, pati pyaar se manaye toh maan hi jaati hai, Gauri said gleefully.

"Gauri Bhabhi...aapne jo bola main sab samjha...lekin---what is nipoon'?? Aur wo reputasion nhi reputation hai, Rudra spoke with a hint of smile on his face.

"Haan wo hi toh bole---reputasion---galat ka bole!! Aur nipoon mane...---", Gauri started thinking.

"Dexterous, Shivaay supplied the word.

AniRiRu looked backwards to see ShivKara standing.

"Aapko ye hindi word pata tha!!, Anika's eyes were about to pop out.

"Ab kya karein, ghar mein do-do hindi ki dictionary ghoomti rehegi toh hume apni hindi toh sudharni hi hogi, hai na, Bhabhi?, Om chuckled.

Rudra couldn't stop himself this time & gave a big grin.

"Waise meri pyaari bhabhiyon, aap dono ne mera mood lift kar diya. Thik kaha aap dono ne, Saumya meri patni hai, aur jab galati maine ki hai toh use manakar wapas v main hi le aaunga, Rudra looked determined.

"Zarurat pade toh 3-4 parathe v khaa lena, Shivaay high-fived with Om.

"Bhaiya...O...main iss baar toh Sumo ko manane k liye 3-4 kya 8-9 parathe khaa lunga---- he thought for sometime & spoke again---"agar khaa paaya toh...

This made ShivIka & RiKara giggle.

Time- 12:55 am

"Saumya! Tum ab tak ghar nhi gayi? Party toh 20 min pehele hi khatam ho chuki hai. Everyone's gone. Are you planning to stay here the whole night?, a silky creepy voice spoke in her ear as the tall male figure stood too close behind Saumya.

Saumya turned around jumping with fear & then noticed that it was Praneet, the male supermodel of the event.

"My driver is late. I was trying to call him, but shayad network mein problem hai. Anyways, I will manage, she responded.

Praneet lowered his face until Saumya's face was a few inches apart. He stared at her beautiful face with those lustful eyes & his piercing gaze made Saumya stumble back a few steps in sudden fear.

"Come, I will drop you home, Praneet's voice was sensuously creepy.

Saumya looked around her only to find herself alone with Praneet. Half of the lights of the hall were switched off & the rest were flickering triggering the uneasiness inside Saumya's heart as she remembered Rudra's words about Praneet's lewd expressions & lascivious stares at her. She looked at Praneet's direction & saw he was waiting for her reply, but as soon as her eyes met with his, she saw that whatever Rudra was saying was true. A deep fear engrossed her.

With shuddering voice she replied, "I am fine. I just received a text from my driver, he will arrive any moment. I must go. Bye.

As she ran out of the hall, Praneet smirked & called up someone.

Time- 1:13 am

Saumya was walking down the road at fast pace, while looking back every few seconds as she feared that Praneet will caught up with her & if he saw that she was walking he may force to drop her. She was freaking out & failed to notice a car which had slowly rolled & stopped in front of her. She bumped into the standstill car & fell down.

"Ouch!! My feet..., she clutched her right ankle tightly while closing her eyes to tolerate the surging pain which was caused due to her sudden fall which broke her right stiletto.

A pair of strong hands picked her up in bridal style which made her snapped open her terrorized eyes since her brain thought that the hands belong to Praneet. But the person's sight soothed her petrified heart as if cold water is poured over a draught land.

0:39-1:44

"Tum!!, she relaxed in her husband's arms without even knowing.

"Itni raat gaye tum yahan kya kar rahi thi?, Rudra queried.

"Mera driver phone nahi utha raha tha. Aur raat bahut ho gayi thi toh maine socha ki khud hi ghar chali jaaun, Saumya fumbled.

"Aise? Akele?Bich sadak se chalkar ghar jaati tum?! Woh v itni raat ko!! Are you out of your mind, Saumya!?Modeling ka bukhar dimag ko chadh gaya hai jo aadhi raat ko bich sadak par chale jaa rahi thi!!, he scolded her while making her sit on the front seat of his car.

He crossed around & sat on the driver's seat & started the car.

1:45-2:21

Throughout the journey, RuMya stole glances at each other, but spoke nothing. There was a lingering tension, both mental & physical. Both of them were remembering the old moments they spent together. The memories of their marriage made them look at each other again, but soon both diverted their gazes feeling an odd angst due to absence of the feeling which a husband & wife should feel for each other.

2:21-3:37

"Tum wahan kya kar rehe the?, Saumya managed to ask.

"Main ghar gaya hi kahan tha! Main bahar wait kar raha tha...tumhare liye. Socha tum chali jaaogi phir main ghar jaaunga. Par tum bahar nhi aayi toh main andar jaane hi wala tha ki dekha tum bhaagkar raashte se jaa rahi ho, isiliye I started my car & followed you, he stated.

"Kahan le jaa rehe ho mujhe?, she questioned.

"Tumhare ghar...aa gaya, utro, Rudra stopped the car.

Saumya looked at the mansion in front of her & then back at Rudra, "Ye mera ghar nhi hai, ye tumhara ghar hai...

"Tumhare maanne na maanne se sacchayi nahi badlegi, Saumya. Tum meri biwi ho aur ye hi hum dono ki zindagi ka sabse bada sach hai. Aur usi naate ye ghar tumhara ghar hai, Rudra's tone was soft & loving.

Saumya stared at his face perplexed yet happy deep down. She blushed slightly which, fortunately for her, went unnoticed by Rudra.

"Chalo andar, he pulled her hand lightly.

Time- 1:49 am

"Saumya puttar, Dadi stood up from the sofa & embraced her.

This time around, Saumya did bow down to touch Dadi's feet which made AniRi smile with joy. ShivKara exchanged satisfied glances & walked up to their rakhi-sister to welcome her with a hug. Through all these, Rudra stood at the back & watched his family happy to find Saumya back in the house. A small smile arose on his lips, but soon it turned sad as he saw Saumya looking at him with lost & to some extent sad eyes...
