Was not going to write about the hug but then decided to since I rambleded on in response to Anisa's comment ...lol

I felt that Shivvay has been having this new side come out since the day he announced her as his wife. His "nakre wali biwi pasand nahi" on the day he declared her till the 'come on hug me today' has been progressing beautifully. I love how he is making up for all the distance he has had to maintain with her till now. That itself shows how very comfortable he is with the whole 'husband' thing compared to Annika.

Shivvay has always given 110% to all his relationships once he has committed to them. This is no different and is in fact like a box of delicious chocolates that he has been allowed to indulge in after being denied it for the longest time because of a long bout of illness. If anyone finds his progress at the speed of light always remember how much he held back when till Tia's truth came out. His naked longing, his tender caresses and his slightest excuse to touch her will remind you of how eagerly he has been waiting to be set free from his bond that has held him back from her.

As I have always maintained - this pair is unique in the sense that they are not only like besties who do not share their secrets with anyone else and fight like little kids but they are also swing very beautifully from platonic to passionate in a single swing, without missing a heartbeat. The transition from a 'Mein Suraj hun" to "give me a hug' was the swing we saw and found it weird only because Shivvay initiated intimacy, which he has NEVER done before.

He was truly disappointed that she did not hug him back and you could almost see him upset that her arms did not wrap around him automatically ...lol He found her so attractive and appealing that reaching out for her and enveloping her was the most natural thing for him to do now, besides SHE WAS HIS WIFE dammit!!
His eyebrows arched, looking at her arms by her side, you could almost hear him say, "What the heck is this?"
That was the moment of realization for Shivvay, as I saw, that this was not going to be an easy run to the second base if he was not going to make it happen here. 🤣
Annika's look is one that says, "Who are you and what have you done to the man I married?? This is just downright unbelievable now." 😲

His almost shakes her a bit to wake her from the daze and reminds her that she is his wife.
He was so totally adorable and boyish with his very expectant expression going, "Meri Biwi ho tum. Mujhe hug kar sakti ho!" 😆 The poor man is almost pleading softly

Having gotten no reply we try again with an eager look on the face, "I think tumhe hug karna chahiye" 😆
"Come on Annika yes", was so completely him taking this to second base with her.
The man is ready, able and willing from what I can see and needs to lure and coax this elusive unicorn shying away from him to come out and play 😆
You get the sense he is so impatient for another hug that he almost wants to reach out and grab her again but knows that he needs to go slow because she is so skittish that she will bolt at his sudden move.

His "It's simple - just.." and the step back was for her to learn how to take the step towards him with full authority of a wife. He was not going to make this easy and she has to learn to understand all the things that came with the title 'wife' that she so badly wanted. She had to come out of this dream where she thought being a wife meant only what they had right now and that there would be no physical intimacy.
As far as I can see Annika has never wanted to think about physical intimacy as part of being a wife. She is content with playing 'house' with Shivvay and is in for a big shock because the man it seems in unstoppable as a husband right now ... lol 😳😉 Poor Annika - I almost feel sorry for the naive girl.

The "aaoo" and smile accompanying it was him telling her to start overcoming the shyness and her hugging him was more to hide in his arms because she was beginning to understand what he meant. Spontaneous hugs were going to be many and frequent from now on ...lol

As far as I could see, Shivvay smile when hugging her, was one of a husband realizing that his wife had now figured out what was going to be expected of her in the near future.

It was a very content, satisfied cat (billu) hugging his Billi at last, all barriers down.

That was an embarrassed Annika hiding in her husbands arms and it was downright adorable.

but oh my god, this ANALYSIS WAS WORTH THE WAIT 😳! i am literally blushing sitting at work and am getting weird looks from my team lol

Right na??!! I am glad you agree as well. I thought it was just me.

I did say that he looked so amused and totally naughty that day when she told Tia "mera pati, mera bedroom, mera bed ' because he too realized that about her. This woman was throwing these words around while Tia was trying to get 'under the sheets' with him and Annika did not realize that she sounded like it was she who should be getting under those sheets with him - not Tia. She thinks that Pati-Patni is a game you play when you play 'house-house' and go through the daily movements of the husband-wife roles for the Family to see. 😆

That girl is so naive I tell ya!!!! But no matter - Shivvay is a good and patient teacher so in the end all will be well.

poor sso, he will have to do all the work but trust me once he gets her to understand she will be the more bold one within the four walls of their room of course! but initially she needs to be taught a lot of things and our darling sso finally started that education yesterday 😆
I do see that happening actually because only he does not hold the controls in the marriage, she does as well. She might teach him a trick or two ...lol

he is smart and taking baby steps here which i love! anika's face said it all - she was like i know what u want but damn i am shy, stop playing with me - right before she went and hid in his arms - so cute! these two are goals 😳
That was the look I saw as well. And his was perfect too. He knew she was shy but was glad that he did not have to spell it all out for her to understand.
His 'Aaoo!' was the first lesson in making her unabashed about the short distance from platonic to passionate. How he did it was absolutely adorable. He stepped out of reach the first time she moved towards him so that she would have to cross that imaginary distance between bestie and wife all on her own.
And she had no where else to hide her awkwardness so hubby's arms were the best option.
It felt like seeing a toddler being told to walk towards someone who is waiting for them just out of reach. The hug that followed was magical and his expressions said everything.
