... They gave him really good dialogues today. I especially liked the way he began with, "Whatever exists b/w me and Anika does not need to be explained to anyone, nor does it need anyone's stamp of approval"😆.

I liked that too but only coz he went on to clarify anyway, to shut everyone up. If he had left it at that, I'd have hated SSO for life

...It was almost as if a dam had burst...and all that Billu had kept pent up inside him for so long came bursting out😆

You nailed it! Can't think of a better way to describe it. Once he started, there was no stopping him. It was like all he needed to get going was to start.

And as you said below, once he said the B word (biwi) it was like the plug had been removed and his brain could process the word, accept the word and allow for his tongue and lips to articulate the word over which he has been tripping for months

Nahi yaar 😔... she looks like she's pushing his face. Wish she'd moved here hand back and gave him a hard resounding slap with a fab follow through 😒

But for now, he deserves the credit for the way he owned this on every level and made it meaningful.

I wonder though...does it matter to Anika anymore if he ever tells her he loves her? 😆 Does she still think he can never love her? 😆 After the kind of words he's used...calling her his taakat, equating her honor with his, giving her that level of respect publicly...what goes on in her mind?

Is she content with having earned his respect or does she still want to earn his love?

Since the time she's realized her love for him, many of her actions have been colored by it...but we've never since revisited where she stands mentally on that point...for a while in b/w, it seemed like she felt lost because he refused to give a label to their relationship even though they could both sense the strength of what was b/w them...but she has that label now...so what now?

Did she think that getting this label alone would answer all her questions?😆 Which brings me to the point of Love v/s respect. Respect is a big cornerstone in the build up to the path to love...in an ideal situation, that is😆...not the candyfloss love at first sight kinds...but a love that grows steadily, only does so when it has a strong basis of mutual respect.

She now appears to have his respect...him having publicly declared that she is his strength shows that (even if he technically doesn't trust her enough to share issues like Prinku's pregnancy😆)...so does this mean that a big roadblock has been removed in Shivaay's mind in terms of what held him back from even entertaining the possibility of being in love with her?

Shivaay's NKK logic states that he cannot respect or associate with anyone who doesn't have those three things...yet yesterday he swept NKK aside as he placed Anika on such a high pedestal of respect so publicly...and in that moment, not just for the public, but for himself also, he was able to clearly own the fact that he respects her that much. With that first block in his mind now removed, it seems he will be compelled to see her more wholly as a person that he has grown so attached to...the emotion that he feels so passionately for her, which he feels he cannot put a name to cuz that would make it real😆. So he owns the relationship instead...because it is FACTUAL😆...he has indeed married her...but surprisingly the emotion compels him to also admit other things that are usually not easy for him...to admit that someone has become his strength, his pride, his honor...he gives her all of that...but love? 😆 That remains a mystery.

I ask this only because I wonder if she still wants or needs that from him...they can happily continue down this path even in a marriage based on deep respect...Anika seemed quite moved by having gotten that from him...but I wonder if she even wants more...in some cases, respect outlasts love...but in her case, she has already realized that she loves him so helplessly...and she can see that he is so drawn to her too...she wanted a name from him...he gave a name to their relationship...but does she still want him to name that emotion b/w them?

Ok I guess this got longer than I'd intended😆...itna soch liya jab ki show mein toh they are furiously planning how to introduce the next SAAZISH😆😆...yeh sab sochne ka time kahaan hai.

I do not think it will matters immediately.. For Anika, the immediate reaction will be all about showing/proving her selfless love to SSO... Helping him out.. BUT I also feel SSO's action has rekindled the hope of his love inside Anika.. 😊 Agreed...I think his actions will inadvertently rekindle her hope that he can love her (I think she's too scared to ask that question of herself or him right now)...but I don't like the sound of her "proving" her selfless love to SSO...aur kitna bichhna baaki hai, man...jaan bhi kayi baar de hi chuki hai almost...ab kya bachaa hai to shower on Billu? Help bhi day one se kar hi rahi hai...love or no love.

Even if she does not want to.. For a stronger relationship.. I think they will need to, right

The main thing is I don't understand SSO right now... If Anika by chance tells SSO that she loves him, how will he react? Will he just pat her head, blush and say good good .. Thank You! OR will be go crazy? 😆 LOL I think he will say "Thank You", give her a forehead kiss and then scene ends😆...but now, more than ever, I don't want her to tell him she loves him...it will again become a case of her then beseeching him to confess his love...har cheez ke liye beg karvaayenge Anika se? 😕

Note: I still wonder what SSO was going to say "Main Tumse...?" Was he going to say pyaar here? 😕

His actions do implicitly show his love for her..but he still won't be able to VERBALIZE it or RATIONALIZE it and hence, he will be as confused as ever..😆 AND he will also end up CONFUSING Anika, whose expectation from love with keep increasing... Yes, his actions already scream his love for her but as always, what he cannot RATIONALIZE, takes a longgg time for Billu to come to terms with...so he is nowhere close to verbalizing it and accepting the obvious.

I think this is a still a deal, although a more emotional one, for SSO.. For him It is all about protection, ownership, responsibility, trust.. Yes he RESPECTs her a lot but he has never seen love among equals or a relationship where he views the other person as his equal.. Till now, he is the only one driving this relationship backwards or forwards.. He needs to give Anika some control.. He needs to let her make decision in this relationship as well..

SSO also needs to learn a different way to communicate.. He will listen to her... BUT will he talk to her? 😆He needs to learn how to discuss his thoughts and feeling with her.. Actually, They both will need to define their own definition of love.. mostly, she will need to define it and explain the fact to him 😆 Great points! Agree with both these...unfortunately they have put Anika's realization and understanding of her love for him on the backburner for so long, I dunno if they can pick up the threads again to build this cohesively...they've turned this around to her always looking to HIM to explain things to her now...and that is only going to drag this down further.

Re: deal...interesting point...yes it is a sort of an emotional deal for him...in exchange for all that she has done for him, literally put her life on the line over and over again for him and his family, he has let her in...taken her under his protection, his responsibility, and a strong stamp of ownership is there as well because that is just basic Shivaay...he's already possessive by nature and on top of that, his emotions are more extreme when they come to Anika...he likes to be in the driver's seat (like Lego Batman😆) and drive a relationship the way he wants to...

Will he give up control to Anika even in a teeny tiny bit? Does he even know how? 😆 Anika will have to demand it and make him understand why their relationship needs that balance...but she is usually busy mooning after him😆

My worry is now Anika ka selfless love for SSO has increased tenfolds after his actions yesterday.. Anika itni achi na.. ab woh SSO ki khushi liye kuch bhi kar sakti hai - which is a little scary.. because this might mean she still won't question him.. 😕 Yes, unfortunately, this is the downside of all this...selfless love is fine and all but she needs to take a stand for herself or this isn't going anywhere.

Right now, Anika and SSO monologue badly needed..

Because I'm not even sure where SSO stands as well.. What does being SSO's wife means for SSO? What are his expectations and I know there are many 😆? Does he expect Anika to change herself to fit his definition of SSO's wife or is he flexible enough to adapt and change himself to and/or change his definition of what being his wife means? Has he reached the stage where he is ready to do pagalpaan for and with Anika? Is he ready to have zaroorat se zyaada emotions for this relationship? 😆 LOL I'm guessing they are still in the process of figuring out where Billu stands...story drag karni hai in logon ne...so I think this is an evolving situation right now with both Shivaay and Anika trying to figure out where they stand with each other now after this declaration...what it actually means in terms of their relationship...kyunki bolna ek baat hoti hai, actually executing it, NIBHAAOING it is the real test😆

Sorry my post turned about to be about more about SSO.. As Anika generally only reacts to him(which needs to change as well)... toh I'm unable to think about what she expects from this relationship before I understand what he expects from this relationship ... LOL no worries...even I was wondering about both their thought processes since they are interconnected right now...Anika reacts to a lot of the things he puts in front of her...so my point was, is she thinking beyond just this declaration? Does she even care or bas respect is enough for her selfless love to keep doing Billu ki seva😆
