What an amazing, khidkitor episode yesterday (minus the weird-ass, filmy poses in the song). I couple of days ago, I was commenting that I wish Anika would fight back and not take billus jealousy games sitting down. I'm so glad that's happening. That's what makes these two truly takkar ke.
Out of that whole Rohit drama, my fav part was the ainvayi ainvayi bit... The way he said it, right after being informed his mehndi was just hours away. 😆 Like, lag gai meree. Plus, how he shouted at Anika when she was walking away "KAL MEHNDI HAI MEREE". I know NM has issues with dialogue delivery but that part was done so perfectly. Like jaldee keh do Anika, warna dono marain ge 😆. I swear he's so endearing when he gets flustered
And you're right. He was totes planning to do something about Rohit. Remember he asked "rehta kahan hai?" Like he wants to pay him a visit and twll him to STAY AWAY FROM HIS WIFE if he cares to live. So adorbs. Billu is his cutest when he's jealous
Moving on, the lassi part. I'm so royally pissed at Pinky by now that I'm running out of bad things to say about her 🤢. So I'll pretend she didn't exist today. But I loved how Shivaay refused to drink the lassi from Tia's glass. He's okay with the games they olay between them but koi bahar wala kuch kahey toh he jumps to stand by her (in the last couple of epis only, though). This is why I don't want any more jealousy drama. Apney beech main dono faraq faraq khailain, I don't mind. But don't involve Tia, that's too demeaning for everyone involved. I know they can't keep that completely out because audiences love it but I hope it's kept to a bare minimum.
The dance seq was great, minus the poses and editing. I'm glad Shivaay was lip-syncing the song, that just upped the impact. NM is a natural dancer so his body lang was great, too. Ans I have to say, I've been listening to that song on repeat. Such poetic lyrics.
Coming to my fav bit; the isharon isharon main baatain. 😆 As my signature may tell you, I'm a sucker for this old-age ankhon ankhon main baatain kinda romance. The way Anika kept pointing at her chest - which billu thought was hef heart. Uff, to die for. The hope in his eyes when she came to him, how he was so enchanted by her, couldn't take his eyes off her. And that feather like touch at his neck when she picked off that rose petal. I'm sure his heart fluttered when skin touched skin. Then, when she pulled back, there's a blink-and-youll-miss moment when he looks down at her lips. That entire bit was so heartfelt, innocent and... pure. Untainted by any other emotions but love... No jealousy, no third person, no anger, no retrain, no pain even... Just love. I hope they do more of these wordless scenes. Jahan kuch kahe baghair bhee sab kuch keh daitee hain nazrain.
Coming to OLVs, I'm not really looking forward to anything. The track is dragging now. We don't know what Anika wants from this. Yes, fake ML is for NB exposure but her actions just go against everything. She isn't doing anything about Tia, she's just lwtting Shivaay marry her. I feel like ShivIka scenes and ML are two diff tracks happening in two diff time zones. CVs better buck up and do something khidkitor to bring it all together because right now, individual tracks look good but altogether, it's a complete mess. Shivaay kuch ker raha hai, Anika kuch, NBs kuch, Mrs. K individually kuch aur hee... It's too comfusing. Plus, I'm hating the upcoming jealousy tracks. I can only hope Anika keeps giving it back to him.
