According to my very little knowledge of divorce proceedings for an uncontested divorce you have to file for two motions. The first one to say that you and your partner no longer wish to be together. And the second one is where they both have to give consent for the divorce. And if the second motion is not filed or the parties do not appear in front of judge the case is dismissed but I don't know after how much time. So since shivaay did not sign the divorce papers he would be filing for the first time I guess.

Btw if anika did not sign a prenup she should demand alimony and take Oberoi's to the cleaners😈

I was surprised when ppl were discussing about divorce papers
I've studied a bit of business related laws and some other laws too

first step for divorce procedure is to present divorce papers signed by both parties in court because it is a divorce based on mutual consent * I know SSO forced her*

another point if he files petition for divorce on the basis of mental disorder, it is valid
but he is applying to fasten the divorce which is already in progress *according to anika and other members at OM*
let's leave logic behind bcoz CVs will do whatever they want
