No he is not committed. But he is equally comfortable with all his costars so can't say about shipping offscreen.

Kunal easily gels with all his coactors.he is really sweet..after watching his intv i had tears in my eyes...7months long wait..finally something gud happened...he really deserves it..i am happy that channel is quite serious with the show..casting itself is a hint that we are in for a treat...Now i really want to thank gul ammi for considering omkara fans request and gave us a brand new show(i still cant believe its happening)

Even Shrenu prefers the original Ishqbaaz wala Omkara and Kunal said he's the same.
Hope they don't change Omkaras character drastically and make him like before.

This show has already one villain kali Thakur after gauri. And storyline is different from IB not unique. Om saying lines that he does not want to deal with love. Well all story are copy paste in gul case so futile to think about unique. I accepted reality.

But I don't think Om basic will change because spinoff is made for omru. And they are liked because of their different personality. If all three brothers will behave in same way them ib was ok why to made another show.

And this dark share was needed in om life because everyone has expected that he was carrying it but kept it suppressed. Now his suppressed side has come out that doesn't mean he will be completely opposite. It means that this time instead of hurting himself he will hurt his enemies. And yesterday he did to tej and Svetlana. Gauri will bring his old self but this time omkara will return for good forsaking his hypocrisy and rigid inflexible ideology.
