Oh I'd started watching Newsroom sometime back too ...but got distracted with something else...need to pick it back up...had only watched one epi...thing is, I feel this hesitation to watch courtroom and political dramas right now given how close to home it all hits...since the world is shot to hell anyways...better to escape into lulzy fiction😆...I watched 13th a few days back too and that was pretty heavy stuff too.

Stranger Things 2 is like sooo far away, man😆...I'll try to check out Eighties...

Speaking of BBKD and Sony...you can check out the SonyLiv site for old Sony shows too...waise you can still watch Tumhari Pakhi on hotstar...usmein hai thoda bahut romance bhi😆

if they really want to show Om ki story like a broken guy rebelling and girl changing him then can they show it like Sarah Ajju from bangalore days plz.

and 'she is the answer to all his question' day dreams (fav dialogue ever) but then I guess that is too much mature writing and logic to expect.

talking about recommendations I highly highly highly recommend bangalore days to all of you esp anu and BW it's right up our alley and available with subs at a lot for places if u need links just contact me heheh but I really want to discuss that and want you guys to watch it.

I don't think the issue is that Anika needs to leave behind her traits just cuz she's an Oberoi bahu...atleast for me, it isn't...I'll let MonyP speak for herself.

I thought the discussion was about the overuse of Anika's classic lingo which does sometimes feel like it's been stuffed into a scene simply as an obligation to portray ki dekho yeh rahi iski crazy language😆...Anika uses "raita phail gaya" with everyone...bacche, jawaan and buddhe😆...honestly I think it's all MAJOR credit to SC's dialogue delivery that it's fun to watch.

I don't really find Anika's language crass but it gets repetitive for me sometimes in terms of how she reacts and repeats her stock lines...like ever since they've introduced 2 Rs., they went overboard using it in every other scene😆...so it's kinda lost the impact for me as of now...there aren't as many light hearted scenes these days either to explore her language in a fun manner...she only gets to use it to abuse Tia and the NBs😆

Haha.. This is the reason why I stopped watching both West Wing & House of Cards.. Aadhe mein chod diya 😆 Newsroom - I saw before "The house of cards" came down 😛😆

Phir O jaana ki ghanti baj gayi and *cue* staring sequence😆

I was so sure she was going to end up breaking his button again the way she was working at it😆

The hand lingering moment was nice (except for those ugly kadaas being back :/...lol)

And back to the regularly scheduled programming of AWKWARDNESS😆

I think what would have helped the beginning of the scene instead of making it so abrupt would have been a shot of Anika noticing him struggling with the button before walking over to help him.

I already said, if we learn/Adopt something new that does not mean we are changing ourselves😊 or that does not have anything to do with class at all. That is how we progress in life, I wish the same for Annika's character 😊
