Shivvay taking a bullet for his parents, Dadi or Brothers I understand, he loves them, but Annika does not come under that umbrella if he does not love her. It's just what I think though.
Shivvay loves Annika and is hesitating to admit it OR has not yet realized it I can understand but viewing her just as a responsibility is a little difficult to digest
Ye ladka jab dekho tum meru responsibility ho karta rehata hai ki whenever i want to really believe that he does love her he says just the opposite...he does get affected by her a LOT and i agree to that...he cannot keep himself sane without her around him since he wants her presence...but if someone is in love with a person doesnt it come with respect and trust?

But I know what is bothering you and me - his is not admitting his love and not verbally calling her his wife.
He trusts her and respects her i agree but isnt it his responsibility to make sure she is respected by members of the family too? He stood up for her today i see all that but when he is itself not establishing it strongly that anika is his wife and she shud be respected as his wife, how can i convince myself that he does love her?
Woh bhi hoga ... patience... For a man who is proud of being an Oberoi blue blood it is not going to happen without a struggle?? It is what defines the man from any other common man? Liken it to being Royalty having to compromise his status by marrying a commoner.
For us to expect that it will change without him having to fight himself is expecting too much. He is already taken that path by standing up for her now he just needs to stay on that path and not waver.
Soon it will kind of creep up on him one day and he himself will be amazed that he is not struggling to chose anymore and that it is the easiest thing in the world for him to announce to the world proudly that Annika is his wife.
My issue was not that it will not happen or why is it not happening now ... my issue was that I was not seeing the struggle between his love for Annika and Nkk... now that Billu has started on his journey of love 'khullam - khulla' in front of the Family (though he calls it responsibility) the NKK wall coming down is not far behind

Aysa thanks for preparing us for this however I want it to be a subtle for Anika rather than something in her face. It would be too much to endure if she confesses her love and he comes up with "trust and responsibility" stuff.
I know they said about Annika confessing her love for Shivvay but frankly, right now, I don't see any chance of it happening. She knows it will not be reciprocated because of his NKK so why in the world would she (a) humiliate herself and (b) put him in a bigger fix than he is right now and (c) phailo more raitha which she has promised she would not in his life.
He is already admitting to the fact that he is having a very tough time balancing his loyalties as a son and husband - he said her of course but we all know ...lol.
I have no idea what the CV's are trying to do with this idea of 'How Annika should confess thing?"
This show is giving super dose of drama to the audience but this kind of heartbreak...would be too much
Again seriously doubt it will happen unless somehow (again this is a very remote chance of happening) Shivvay confesses he loves her in a spur of the moment anger kind of situation which left her dumbfounded by that whole admittance and now it is her turn to tell him she loves him. Again, just typing this has me thinking that it is so farfetched that I cannot imagine it happening so soon.
I just want Anika to overhear him talking to his brothers.
Nope, no overhearing, figuring out, subtle hints, dumb charades game, guess the right answer etc etc ... just straight out "I Love Dammit" like Aarnav said ... lol Good enough style for Shivvay as well
Already this show has become emotionally draining as someone pointed out in the forum today. They have such a good cast and they don't need to overdo anything. Just keeping it as a simple love story with some conflicts would be enough...but not inner conflicts and Pinki and Tej and of course Nafratbaaz sisters and their queen. Someone mentioned character flaws today and just that is enough to keep this show going as nakul and surbhi are brilliant
And I agree. ShivIka have enough in their individually strong characters to keep the conflict going between them but again that is for audiences like you and me ... for TRP's it is a whole different ball game 😆
I don't even pay attention to Tinky, the Vamps and Annika crying anymore ...lol
