As per Prinku, Om was the strongest person in the OM and the accident destroyed him, there is a reason that his anger is much more scarier than that of SSO for both Prinku and Rudra (and sometimes for SHivaaye as well), this probably is the remnants of his past self, so I don't think his character has been ruined, rather it has been transformed also he is a certified hippocrate so anything done his character would not be ruined
Shivaaye was a person who believed in Naam Khaandan, but he never outrightly rejected those without them. He was being attracted by Anika, but it was no where even near to love (before marriage, now he actually loves her), so yes his character was tarnished a bit, especially since he didn't torture Anika for his family, as if that was the reason he would have gone behind Tia and Richa for forcing them to marry and not Anika, he did that for his own ego, also even after the ONS MU got cleared, he didn't repent his deeds and instead reprimanded Khanna for giving his videos to Om (although that video was the only reason that Pinky had got a bit diluted on Anika), so his character has been ruined slightly (only slightly as despite his criminal activities, he is what he used to be, a spoilt brat who feels that the world is below his feet), but then again he too is a hippocrate who denied for Dev and Prinku marriage as he was illegitimate, but has no issues with an illegitimate Om, so character can not be completely ruined for him
Rudra since the beginning I felt was a very intelligent and emotional person, who behaved as a kid for his brothers, who were his parents for all practical purposes, he does the same now as well now, but now he has other people to interact with and therefore his emotional side is coming out, so I think his character has been the most consistent one
Anika well, I still have hopes that she is behaving as a dutiful wife just to expose Tia and one this is done she herself will demand a divorce since despite her love, she can not live life with a jerk, fingers crossed
Prinku again although was shown weak and docile, but it probably happened post accident, since how many girls want to drive a car at the 18th birthday, even in today's age and that too when she had scores of drivers lined up for her? I myself drove the car for the first time at the age of 24 (and my family never had a driver), so she was definitely very confident and brave its just that, that accident ruined her, but now when she has accepted her crime and someone is trying to punish her for her crimes, her inner confidence and strength which was in a dormant state is out and she is oscillating between the girl she was 2 years back to the girl she is had been for the two years, I feel this is very natural for anyone
Tia, well to be frank, I never found her very cute, even at the beginning she looked fake to me, remember the engagement rehearsal episode, she deliberately took Rudra's name as if accidently post which Shivaaye scolded Rudra, secondly she is still not bad or cunning at heart, she is just willing to avenge the Oberois who she feels is the reason for the death of her father, she is a good person for others, so till the time Anika was just a wedding planner/employee of Oberois, Tia was good to her and did support her, but now that Anika has become Oberoi DIL and the shield of Oberois, she has also come under the umbrella of her hatred against the Oberois
Now coming to Sumo, although she has been shown all sweet and bubbly but none of her actions have been any innocent (except the hospital and the college scene, when she probably didn't know Rudra was an Oberoi and genuinely came ahead a friend with whom you get a heart connect ), again she is a good person at heart, but is just avenging her family (in case she turns grey), so she would have been definitely affected by a person whom she saw crying at the hospital floor, and would have definitely felt connected to him when she met him at college, but post her entry to OM, she did a lot of things in the guise of pranks which are actually criminal by law/morality- like photo morphing of Rudra, giving advices to him so that he could go closer to Romi despite knowing that she was a psyco etc., even post marriage although during the first time when Romi had confined Rudra, she got to know about it but didn't tell anyone anything, even second time she waited for long before actually telling about the abduction to Om.
Hence her character could actually be made into grey and that too with pretty ease and it could turn out to be a superb plot, but just the CVs handle it properly, fingers crossed
