Ek dum correct...but I don't get the reason for your connecting the Shivika example to my post...I ain't a hardcore Shivika shipper. Nowadays toh you won't even see me frequently go "Huyyy...babies" at their different romantic scenes. I'm usually going "huh!?!", "ugh!!!!" or "Lmao!!!!" at their attempts at romance. Shivika ki jagah agar Rudra ko is post mein 4 baatein sunayi hoti toh I would've cared...not really! So I don't see the whole point in shoving Shivika at my post.

And I (or other people) don't have any personal dushmani with Omkara. It is just that I abhor 'affected superiority' in individuals (both real and fictional). Shivaay too has this but he openly admits that he is not just bad, he is the WORST. Accepting your shortcomings is the first step towards change. And Shivaay is slowly changing, that is why, those scenes that you have mentioned are shown.

Omkara knows that he is the antithesis of a chaste, pure, unblemished soul. He regularly cries over his own dark past (I am such a victim!) but immediately becomes the judge and jury - brandishing others around him to be liars, criminals, brutes. And then it is given a Michmichi waala tadka when the 'Om Bandwagon' upholds all the faux principles that he represents. I think his affectation is so glaring because he is a solitary figure who has had very few meaningful interactions with those around him (those dances and Obros moments don't count). He is always giving out Gyaan but is seldom shown learning important life lessons.

You also have to realize that everyone who watches the daily soap is not its hardcore fan. I watch it for the LULZ but the scholar in me sometimes rises and tries to trace the human strain in these fictional characters.

When the series started, Shivaay too was at the bottom rung in my estimation. Almost 200 epis later, I still don't find him completely tolerable (his character is a work in progress). Omkara's journey has not even started. He is the most flawed among the three brothers (and the most unpalatable one for me). I hope his lead will bring about a positive change in him. Because the character has a huge potential. But I don't have high hopes since it is a daily soap.

And everyone needs to stop getting so offended! Just imagine if the audience had been rooting for Shivaay of the first episodes/since Day 1. That guy was just so smackable/slappable then (not in a good way)! There is at least 2% growth in his character. Omkara's characterization has been stagnant. Let his better half enter, let him change, may be then everybody would fall in love with him or just learn to tolerate him!😛

U know I was watching this show for omkara only but because of his sidelined character I stopped . Today saw Sbas news and i was glad. Still waiting for confirmation.

I hope and wish helly gets confirmed. She is adorable

Vampgiri of om girl means glorification of someone. Even if helly play grey shades general audience will accept her as lead not vamp. I wanted such an actress opposite om who despite playing grey shade does not look bad. And helly is good option.

I am a Helly fan also I love Om..but I don't understand why everyone saying Om FL will be gray..may be not anymore as they were going to write a fresh new story for new girl after Vrushika's exit..so may be they already scrapped that part though I would love it if they showed the original Ishana story...😔...but now may be they change it so they called Helly for mock test..and Helly really give the Chutki vibe...Om is satyabadi and intense character..so for his FL they can show that the girl is happy go lucky girl but with strong mindset and always ready to tit for tat and don't even think twice to lie if her lie help someone...like Dadi said sometimes lie is imporent in our life where Om denied and Dadi said he need someone who will teach him this...also if the character is gray then too we should give Helly a chance and m not saying this bcz m her fan..no..I am saying this as I trust GK and her team for casting...when the show start like others me too had doubt on Surbhi as lead but she won my heart with her performance as Anika and now I can't imagine anyone else..same goes for other characters...so I don't think they will cast someone who won't match Kunal...when they know how popular Om is..but then also it is not confirm if she really went to the set for mock test..she is good friend of Surbhi and Lalit Mohan..so she can visit the set for them...so before we judge and all we should wait for confirmation...well I don't want to increase my hope by trusting the rumors...😆
