hola Ishqbaaz-ians😃
I am Rads, if you've been a part of LNMDJ forums, TBP Forums or SH forums
You might know me ,
On this forums however, I've only posted a few gifs when I was on a gif making spree😆
Anyhow , primarily I am a writer,( my PS skills suck trust me😛)
and love experimenting around various genres and Writing techniques
which includes writing OSes, Independent Short Stories, poems
as well as Poetry+ Fiction
Have been meaning to post a One Shot on Omkara ever since the drugs track but due to one reason or another couldn't finally posting it on ironically the last day of 2016!!
So grab your tissue boxes and get ready to experience the inner pain,turmoil of Omkara through my eyes.

Dolour
naive,pure,just,fair
these are the words used to describe me,
but who am I , no body knows,
This Darkness is ready to consume me,
yet I see no light at the end of this Tunnel
All I wanted was to be left alone,
yet life seems to mock me,
not leaving a corner to curl in,
Is this just ,is this fair,
how ironic does this all sound?

I woke up with a start, shuddering in this cold dark night which never ceases to end,unsure what woke me, but that night's event still wreck every hour of my entire life.Those leaves splattered in blood,her wounded form lying peacefully on the ground and us!! What makes it all worse? Shivaaye's apology for not taking out time for me, for not being there for me, he considers me as a pure soul, too naive to understand the worldly schemes and shenanigans,there at that very moment, I wanted to blurt all out, to explode this ticking time bomb inside me,but couldn't, I couldn't be selfish,not now, specially after what I did, how could I even think of resorting back to the hell hole I was once stuck in?
Circumstances change you they say, and I agree that's true.
Truth,
how do you go on to describe this 1 word?Truth can be perceived differently as its a perceptive word.
People compare me to Raja Harish Chandra, known for always being just, supporting truth,be trustworthy,but do I deserve this title?

Once I took an unconventional path,
rejecting the luxuries, the status,the pomp ,the glamour,
art taught me patience,it calmed me down,
but why can't I hold Scarlet without reminiscing those few secs,
they say following the road not taken comes with their bags and baggages,
but why can't I find the will to unpack those and move on.

As much as I try running away from my dark past, as much as I try to move on , it tries to catch up , reminding me life isn't black or white, its Grey, every shade of it , inked in every single person's life. The morals I advocated on others seem to come back and mock me, forcing me to reconsider, to re-assess my life and what I seem to be?

its time to rise,
like a phoenix from its ashes,
to learn from my mistakes,
and live in the present,
to protect those who mean everything to me,
to stand up to what's expected of me,
to live the life I always wanted,
never look back,
look ahead to the future with my head held high

Now that I sat and reflected over things, weighing the good and the bad, its time to move on, leave behind the past , and live in the present, instead of resorting into that empty space with no window, I need to push my boundaries and create those doors which were never open, to Rise, instead of falling back. To go back to the world where I belong, to unpack those baggages and break the barriers , because if I fall back now, I know there's no coming back!

Hey, Rads.

This one shot is beautifully penned.

I like the idea the background you chose for this.

Omkara singh Oberoi is one of the most loved characters of IB.

He has this thing about him: all pensive, deeply emotional, deeply attached- senses pain in the way no one can.

It was just that moment- that turmoil he feels each single day of his life having (presumably) killed a woman. . .

Thinking from his pov & putting it to words- a tedious task, isn't it? Because it's not easy to be Om.

Quoting some of the lines which I loved:

Kudos to the writing, too. The poetry & the fiction just sync together so well. It has flow, meaning & depth.

He is being missed too much on the show. Thank you for this.

Rads, this is a brilliant piece on the most complex character. To put the mysteries and darkness in a poem and story form which flows is ingenious!

I am glad you liked it and yes I agree Om is indeed one of the most complex character, beautifully penned in theory but executed poorly..but oh well...atleast we get to see different shades of him once in a blue moon.
