Let me know if you enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. 😉

Its a beautiful VM and song is best suited to go with Anika's innocent looks. Loved it.

Loved how you put it, Geet...I remember you had explained a couple of weeks back during her reactions to the video being revealed to the family too but it hadn't clicked for me then...feel like it came together much better this week and I've begun to understand this side of Anika better now...SC is playing this side with just the right amount of balance so that Anika never falls into that typical doormat category...there is a strange sense of strength in her even as she softens immensely to absorb all his harsh edges.

It is this strength that (bear with me here) is the most important quality of all the epic female characters I have ever admired: their resilience, which is so easily mistaken for weakness. And yet, for me, this is the strongest kind of female resistance that I personally admire the most. Off tangent here perhaps, but I truly admire the way in which such women negotiate their relationships keeping in mind their experiences, their perceptions on relationships, and their feelings towards the world and towards people that matter, and funnily, none of these require grand theorisations.

We can continue this discussion in private but the things I have experiences, my belief in such female characters and my admiration for them has only grown. For me, Anika is ALSO a part of such a woman who is just trying to live her life to the best of her abilities irrespective of the insane amounts of demands being imposed on her.

I forgot to talk before about that little bit where she mentioned how there was no one there to teach her how to sew a button...it was a surprising poignant touch for many reasons...ek toh a heroine is shown always to have this talent by default in every show...so showing an otherwise multi-tasking independent Anika not knowing how to do this one simple thing was a refreshing touch...on top of that showing the Mr. SSO who goes around turning his nose up at everything actually knowing how to do a simple house chore like sewing a button...lol it was a sweet touch...I suppose I shouldn't be surprised given how homely this guy is in the kitchen too...sabke liye khaana banaata hai😆...anyways back to that actual bit where she mentions that there was no one to teach her...and as you said, he so subtly managed to shift the topic away from the ache of loneliness she expressed there on to a lighter vibe...something sweet about it...

I loved all of this so much! I love how much was conveyed in that little line: that even to learn how to sew could be a personal privilege, involving a special personal relationship, involving another person (something she never had). This girl was made to grow up too soon, and we see glimpses of this often. There are so many people who do not know how to sew on a button (including me), but for her, it is NOT childhood privilege but the lack of it: she had no one guiding her. I wanted to give her a hug when she said that line and yet, that man didn't do anything except help her in whatever way he could. He distracted her just like he understood she was distracting him. Shows how they'll always shield one another.

This is their equation na...she will distract him in such a roundabout manner, breaking off his button, taking off on tangents about darzis in her gali...and he will take her mind off her lonely past by switching to their conversational banter too...

I love this about them. I love these things EVEN more when neither of them is intoxicated😆😆😆

That said, it would be nice to see that curious Shivaay back at some point who badly wants to know her past, what makes her tick...hopefully once they are past this Tia drama, it might happen...there are so many things he needs to know...and so do we...the reason for Anika's lack of faith in God, her struggles, her past, her beliefs beyond the light hearted hassi mazaak...

Word! I am curious too..but bechara billu, usko time kahan hai. for him, it's literally
'duniya hasino ka mela'😆😆😆 jab tak Tia and One-blouse lady leave, tab tak toh kya se kya ho jaayega😆😆😆 But on a serious note, I think it should be one of the major arcs of their relationship. It's important for him to accept her as she is, but it is also necessary for him to see how she was and why

@BW lol

Yes I do want a dori scene and I can trust Gul 1000% she will use it sometime soon when she wants to add in an sexually tense/ awkward romance between the two! 😆

But but... Annika's been given some very modern and some bold clothes in the past for female lead and esp the gown she will wear Monday! 😉 they need to use such a scene in bold manner than the regular dori scene!

If you notice the divorce BTS, her red dress also is pretty backless 😛 like someone pointed in another thread in the Kajrare seq they should totally do a wardrobe malfunction from the back for Billu to handle 🤣

More than a blouse Ki dori they should show some sort of stringed backless top like the wedding trial one to increase the PHEELS

Yes precap was a shocker. Why she felt it necessary to entertain/distract Shivaaye in low cut Kajraare, just while I was thinking her blue dress in yesterday's episode was so decent and suiting her.

Thanks!

Re: precap...lol@ low cut Kajraa-re...I can't fathom what makes them put such outfits on her...she's literally popping out of it...one step away from a wardrobe malfunction...and these people seem to think it's cute😆

I liked her blue outfit yesterday minus the heavy gold earrings...the simple scarf was suiting her too...too bad, they never let the nice outfits stay for more than an epi.
