See in that whole situation where she was inside the tank I think he wasn't thinking. He was just feeling. And when he saw her lifeless on the floor, whatever reaction he had was from his heart.
Shivaay is someone who most of the time thinks with his head. So his feelings doesn't come out so easily. If he were thinking with his head, he would hold her up & taken her to the hospital instead of calling her out to speak & stay & not leave him.Something some professionals are train to do like paramedic, doctors, nurses to keep their heart aside & think with their brains.
He is good at that bcoz he trained himself. But just sometimes the veil falls, his heart wins the battle & no matter how much he tries to hide his feelings for her they come out.
So if in future AniOmRu has enough with his keeping thoughts to himself & has to make him confess his feelings they would just have to make him desperate enough to make Anika stay in his life & he would just blurt everything out.

Secondly ofcourse his beliefs will be shattered. And thirdly how it feels when you lose control over your life, which he did to Anika. So he will be forced to divorce her, even when that is the last thing he wants to do right now.That would be a another stop on his guilt trip!
Coming to his belief in Tia. We have to cut the guy some slack. Tia is someone who fits his parameters. He knows her since 3 years. Anika is an out of box exception for him & he knows her since 2 months. So he having a little more trust in Tia is understandable. But her actions are making him question her now which is how it is suppose to go in normal life.

Now when his beliefs in her will be broken & in Anika will get stronger, he will start trusting her more. And when this divorce thing will be till his neck he will definitely realise how difficult it is to live without Anika & finally let his heart take the decisions in the matter.

@asya34 So true about he being someone sticking to his principles. He will never betray Anika. Not just bcoz he loves her too much but bcoz it won't fit in his morality to do so!
I am not justifying him. If u heard Nakuul's Radio IV he himself said that SSO is a MCP. And it had been discussed so many times but what he acted before marriage is what happens when he locks his heart in a box & throws the keys in the ocean. He was totally on damage control that day. He did not sit & cry when Tia left but he thought what can I do & he did that. Then Richa ran away & he saw Anika. Anika's slap didn't do anything more than clouding his judgement. Now even his brain went backsit & what he acted was Autopilot. And that's why he doesn't regret it bcoz unknown to his family he must have done this many times to many people & according to him it was the right thing to do which ofcourse it was not!
About Tia, u r so right. Till now he had no reason to question her, she was the best girlfriend he ever had. But as soon as he will realise that she is doing all this media drama to manipulate him, he will start questioning her. She doesn't get how much his family is important for him & how much their opinions matter to him so this shaming him infront of them is going to get her in great trouble. Anika understands him & that's why she stood for him in front of his family

Yup, u r right. He thinks of her as a friend. Ofcourse he misses the point that he has this weird attraction towards her (We keep screaming Love to him) for this friend of his. Rudy is gonna be so so jealous. He doesn't takes this stealing his partner in crime thing quite well. Remember how jealous he got about Saumya.
