Oberois ko a upper middle class family dikha dete with Tej as an IPS officer, Shakti, an IAS officer, Shivaay an IPS officer, Omkara just out of college and a struggling artist whose father wants him to take the UPSC exams and Rudra an ordinary college boy. Janvi could have been a college principal who had secret drinking problems and Pinky could have been a resentful house wife. Dadi could have been dead for 10 years when the story starts. Shivaay would have had intense hatred for Khoon Khandhan and money and Anika should have been a spoilt rich girl. Saumya would have been a nerdy girl who had crush on Rudra from the time they were in middle school and Prinku her most trusted friend who secretly aspired to be an IPS officer like her brother against her Patriarch of a father's wishes to marry her off. Randhawa would have been a Goon who was the key to the underworld for ACP Shivaay who was the nightmare of the city's baddies. Swetlana would have been the under secretary to a minister who had not so holy connections with IG Tej. Tej would be burning with jealousy because of the reputation of his nephew which was growing by the second.

Tia would be Shivaay's way too sweet and dumb GF. Omkara's girl would be a teacher in his mother's college who would teach him to live and dream.
