It's so ironic, both were equally pained by the mere THOUGHT of her coming to some harm, and while Shivaay could console and Promise Sahil; Sahil believed with a child's faith. His 'pinky promise' with Shivaay was as sacred to Shivaay as any other kasam, it was a responsibility he undertook in that moment, because she, the way she makes promises, means as much to him as some legitimate vow.

And he'd take care of him, for her, till she returns, and he can protect both of them.

It was nice to see, lolz aside, how he was swept away at the mere thought of Anika being harmed, as if he wanted to erase even a mild visual of it.

Sadly, as a child, while Sahil could express his pain, Shivaay could only speak melodramatic talwar waale dialogues.

what potential in the scene.. WHAT potential, and bas.

They shouldn't have rushed the Saahil- Shivaay scene 😔 I managed to watch it's bts and both were putting in work sigh PT Ka footage kam kar dete toh inka loot nahi jata 😡 Yeah honestly I didn't get why they needed to play up Daksh ka faaltu drama SOOO much...Saahil-Shivaay ka scene deserved more breathing room today...alas...oh well.

I LOVED the screen scene too. The music version of O Jaana I liked too. Loved that split second of relief and smile on her face when he unties her and she runs ... The way she was SOAKING every bit of him ... The person who was somehow responsible for her agony is her only relief... This is the third time they've shown this... The Boom scene hug, the nightmare Epi and now his moment! No matter what they do they will always seek their satisfaction, an end to their agony in each other even if that same person gives rise to it.

Jazbaa hai anjaana, mushkil hai samjhana ... Apna hai Ya hai Gair woh... Yeah it's quite the interesting paradox with Anika especially...no matter what, she turns to him at the end of the day...he is her solace no matter how much pain he gives her...they've shown her wondering about this a few times too when she was thinking about whether she's in love with him...

And the song lyrics are ekdum sahi for their equation...they don't know what label to give this emotion, they can't explain it...gair bolne ki koshish karte hain but sabse apna lagta hai woh insaan...

Yeah see, I do get that was the INTENTION of them showing him hugging Sahil so abruptly...that even the mere thought of Anika being harmed has to be pushed away by him instantly...but execution unfortunately gets a little clumsy...potential hai, they need to polish it better. Shivaay by nature only is a very awkward, ajeeb character, hence many of his reactions are bound to come out abruptly too...but even then they can make it a bit more poignant...I can't even blame Nakul here...this is a weird characteristic to pull off while being poignant😆...upar se to make it worse, they give him some TALWAAR wala dialogue *facepalm*
