CHAPTER 11
Shivaay carried Anika to their bedroom and locked the room. He had to change and then talk to her, about her demands, which were now becoming very tough for him to fulfill.
Shivaay- Anika, ye jo kiya hain na aaj... I don't know what, but you will have to pay for this, soon!
He said in a serious tone. Ignoring her face which was clearly showing how impressed she was.
Anika- Shivaay, yehi pehne rahiye naa! Main toh aapko aise sara din dekh sakti hu!!
Anika winked at him. He smirked at her.
Shivaay- Just wait till the babies are out, phir main tumhara ye meri taraf iss halat mein sara din dekhne ki khwahish bhi puri kardunga.
Anika turned red at his words, realisng what he meant.
Anika- Aur...aur baccho ka kya hoga? Hmm?
Shivaay laughed hearing her question, while walking towards the washroom to change.
Shivaay- Ek ko Rudra Soumya ke paas chor denge, dusre ko dadi ke paas aur tisre ko Mom aur Badi Maa ke paas! I am sure they will understand why.
He winked at her and left her blushing as he enter the washroom.
Anika- Tadibaaz Bagad Billa!
Shivaay came out after a few minutes and saw that Anika was standing by the window, enjoying the gentle breeze. He hugged her from behind. And kissed her on her neck.
Shivaay- Anika, kaisa lagta hain? As in apne andar mere baccho ko carry kar rahi ho, almost nine months!
Shivaay wondered at times how must Anika feel about her pregnancy. She leaned back, her head resting on his chest. Shivaay held her belly and could feel the babies kicking her almost every second.
Anika- Bohot accha Shivaay! Pata hain, mujhe sukun milta hain, jab bhi bacche thoda sa bhi hilte hain na, tab. Aapki yaad aati hain jab bhi main apne aap ko aine mein dekhti hu! Humare pyaar ki nishani Shivaay...bohot jald mera sapna pura hone wala hain, Maa banne wali hu main. Wo bacche humare honge... Mere aur aapke Shivaay...!
Shivaay was too lost in her, but before he could say something, Anika turned towards him. She wasn't looking like before, a bit uncomfortable.
Anika- Shi... SHIVAAY...
Shivaay moved back a little to realise what was wrong. And he could feel that there was some sort of water on the floor.
Anika- Shivaaayy! Mujhe dard ho raha hain...ahhh..
Shivaay- Oh God... Anikaa!
He said as he realised that her water broke. Without any second thought he picked her up and rushed down.
Shivaay- Dadiii, Om, Rudra... Maa, Papa!!! Badi maa???
He called for everyone.
Anika- Shivaay pleaseee abhi nahiii. Hospital chaliyee jaldi!!!!
Anika shouted. She had tears in her eyes. Everyone came almost immediately.
Om- Kya hua?
Jhanvi- Oh my God, Anika ko pain ho raha hain?
Shivaay- Umm.. Her water broke!
Dadi- Puttar jald se jald hospital chalna hoga! OmRu tum log, Billh aur Anika ko lekar jao hum sab aa rahe hain!
Rudra- Jee Dadi...
They immediately left for the hospital and the rest followed.
As soon as they reached the hospital, Anika was rushed to the Operation Theatre. The doctors asked Shivaay if he wanted to join her.
Shivaay- Umm... I don't think main dekh sakunga... Nahi..
Dadi- Billu... Tujhe jana hi hoga... Tujhe dekhna hoga ke kaise teri biwi tere baccho ko duniya mein laa rahi hain! Tere liye kitna dard sehen karegi ye tujhe dekhna hi hoga... Doctor, isse le kar jaiye!
Shivaay was really scared, but he understood what Dadi meant.
Shivaay- Thi...thik hain!
After minutes or so, Shivaay entered the O.T., he saw Anika, who was trying her best to push out the babies. She was crying, screaming, shouting in pain. He couldn't really understand what to do. Then the doctor asked him to go and stand next to Anika and give her support.
Shivaay- An... Anika...
She looked at him and held his hand tight. He quickly knelt down. She was breaking his hand, or so it felt. He couldnt take in what was happening around him. He felt his eyes getting moist. Anika was crying out him name. The doctors were asking her to push harder, for the sake of the babies, and she was trying hard as well.
Suddenly, Shivaay could hear a cry. It was the most beautiful site. It was his baby, his first baby. It had just come out of her. A doctor quickly wrapped the baby with a towel and took the baby to clean it. A minute of silence and then again, Anika began screaming, shouting, crying. After another 2/3 minutes, she stopped again, and again, it again felt heavenly. Shivaay saw his baby, his second baby. The doctors repeated the process and finally, again began working on Anika. She seemed tired and couldnt push anymore. Shivaay seeing that caressed her head and kissed her forehead.
Shivaay- An...Anika, you just... Humara baccha Anika, it's here. Bas ek aur baar jaan...it's going to be fine...
And after hearing him, she again began pushing, and he heard the final cries. And Anika fell unconscious. All his babies were out of their mother. It was a boy, another boy and a girl.
He got out of the O.T. and stood next to his family members. They all looked at him. His eyes were moist but they could tell he was happy. He was a father now. Proud father of three. Everyone hugged and congratulated him. After 10 minutes or so, the doctors brought in the babies. They were beautiful. But Shivaay was too afraid to pick up the babies. So Jhanvi, Pinky and Dadi each took one of the babies.
Pinky- Oh my maata! Bilkul meri Shivaay jaisi Kanji Ankhee hain iski. Meri poti! Chotu sa!
Shivaay just came near her and took a look at his girl, she was the prettiest thing ever.
Jhanvi- Shivaay, come! Take your son, ye bhi bilkul tumhare jaisa hi hain, par ankhee Anika jaisi hain!
Shivaay again went near her but didn't take his son either. His son was so handsome, Shivaay though.
Soumya- Dadi dekho, ye toh bilkul Anika Di jaise hain, wahi naak, wahi honth, sab!!
Shivaay quickly took a look at his son who was in Dadi's arms.
Dadi- Billu? Le? Apne baccho ko nahi lega?
He was too scared to touch the babies, what if he hurt them. Suddenly, the baby girl started crying, and Shivaay too felt hot water running down his cheeks.
Om- Come on Shivaay! She wants you to take her. Go for it!
Rudra- Bhaiya kya soch rahe ho! Jaldii!
Shivaay turned towards OmRu.
Shivaay- I am scared!
Om- You don't need to be Shivaay! Because...
Rudra- We are with you Bhaiya, humesha! Aapse koi galti nahi hogi!
Rudra completed his sentence.
Soumya- Aur agar hogi bhi, toh hum sab hain...
They all smiled at him. And he went towards Pinky to take his daughter. He picked her up. She was so tiny, he thought. She was crying loudly. But as soon as he placed a kiss on her forehead, she stopped. Her eyes just like his. He couldn't stop smiling at his daughter. Just then he heard his sons cry as well, and he laughed at that. He handed the girl to Soumya and went towards Dadi to take his son, he took him and kissed his as well, and to his surprise, he too stopped crying. Shivaay couldn't help feeling the luckiest man on earth.
Rudra- Bhaiya mujhe do naa!!
Shivaay carefully handed him the baby and went to Jhanvi to take his other son. Only eyes like Anika, he though. He kissed him as well and quickly handed the baby to Om and rushed to the doctor.
Shivaay- Doctor? Anika...?
Doctor- Stitches ho gaye hain, abhi 30 mins mein aap mil sakte hain unse!
Shivaay was so happy that he immediately hugged the doctor.
Shivaay- Thank you so much doctor!
Anika opened her eyes and immediately shut them again as soon as the light hit them. She felt a hand touch hers.
Anika- Shivaay...
She slowly took his name. She knew by the feel of the touch that it was her husband.
Shivaay- Hey baby... I love you so much Anika!
She again tried to open her eyes slowly, again, and she succeeded. She saw, he had tears in his eyes, but he looked happy. She gently smiled at him and put her hands on his cheeks to caress him. He held her hands and kissed her on her forehead.
Shivaay- Anika...
Anika- Shivaay... Aap...
Shivaay- Shh... Main nahi, hum... Anika, do beta aur ek beti hui hain hume... They are beautiful!
Anika couldn't stop her tears. Her babies, her own flesh. She always thought that she had no one, she grew up as an orphan, Chutki was taken away from her, but now, she had three babies of her own. They were her own flesh. She had made them with the person she loved the most. She felt so happy.
Shivaay- Rona badh Karo Anika... Bacche dar jayenge...
He joked, trying to make her stop crying. And he succeeded. She laughed a little.
Shivaay- See there...
He pointed towards a big cradle kept beside her bed. She turned her head and saw the cradle. She could see her little ones, but she wanted a better view. She tried to get up but felt her body giving up, she could feel the pain returning.
Shivaay- Anika... An... Anika, I will get them... Wait!
He went towards the cradle and slowly lifted the baby girl. He came and handed her to Anika. Her tears were just not stopping. She hugged the baby tightly and kissed her on her nose. Then Shivaay slowly brought the boys as well and put one of them on the other side of Anika and kept one in his arms. Anika hugged all three of the babies, and kissed them.
Anika- Shivaay, ye... Iski ankhee toh bilkul aap jaisi hain...aur, iss baby ki naak toh meri jaisi hain... Aur ye toh bilkul aap hi ho... Shivaay!
Shivaay- Yeah...meri princess! And my little boys!
He said as wiped away the lone tear that came out of his eye.
Anika- Shivaay...Main...Thank you Shivaay, meri itni khubsoorat sapne ko pura karne ke liye!!
Shivaay- No, no Anika... It's me who should be thanking you! You know, for making me complete... And for giving me three angels, and for being Mine! I love you more than everything else Anika..
Anika kept the baby on her lap and pulled Shivaay by his collar. She then kissed his nose and then took a look at the baby, she took him and placed him on the other side of the bed. And she again kissed him, but this time on his lips.
Anika- Main bhi sabse zyada pyaar abhi bhi aapse hi karti hu Shivaay...Aapse hi main hu...aur humse ye...
She said and looked at the babies who were now awake.
Shivaay hugged her tight. And then, the Oberoi family entered the Cabin. They all congratulated the couple and hugged them and then took the babies. Sahil too came and kissed Anika and the babies and thanked Mr. SSO for making him a Mamu.
