Sr. Oberoi's:
I have always wanted that the Sr. Oberoi's been shown as exactly that - Seniors. We have Shivvay, Om and Rudra acting like these poor boys need to step into their elders shoes.
Well, yes, they are grown up responsible young men but they are not the 'Seniors' in the Oberoi family.
SHAKTI SINGH OBEROI: We need to have more scenes like the one we saw between Shivvay and Shakti. I want Shakti to be a father not just a show piece. I would like to see him interact more with his son and daughter-in-law. I loved how he reprimanded Shivvay today and asked him to tone down his voice and speak with respect. Sure you are a grown married man who may be running the Oberoi empire but right now you are at home and speaking with your father. I would of course have my son/daughter watch their tone with me. Man!!! no other scene made me happier today than that short one. (i even wrote it in my SS and that was a treat to see it come alive). Shivvay needs to get more of that from his father and not just him I think Pinky needs to be given a piece of Shiakti's mind as well. He ruled the scene today.
JHANVI SINGH OBEROI: Sigh!! What can I say about this classy, intelligent, sharp and lovely lady!!! I have no idea why Pinky's non stop ranting gets more screen space than Jhanvi. I would love to see her take Annika under her wing. I would love to see her guide Annika and encourage her to get a career (not a job) and continue her education so that she could use her skills to her best advantage.
I loved how she stood up for Annika today. Not because I wanted someone to side Annika but because I wanted to see the shrewd and intelligent Business Woman sniff out a skunk when she smelled one. And oh Boy!!! did she smell him out. Right till the end she stuck with her gut feeling and her knowledge of what she knew about Annika. She only looked at the cold, hard facts without any emotions attached. She was outraged that he was defaming her so casually without a shred of evidence and that Pinky was gobbling up these lies as fast as he was dishing them out. Kudos!!!! I loved Jhanvi and her scene today.
As for the O'Bro's:
OMKARA SINGH OBEROI: Please let Om have his own 'youth story' - his life, his struggles, his pain and his LOVE!!! For God's sake give this man a LIFE!!!! I know he is an O'Bro but he is 'Om' as well.
Omkara Singh Oberoi needs his screen space. He is such an unexplored territory
RUDRA SINGH OBEROI: We were supposed to see Saumya's mother visit, Rehan's mother visit with the proposal and the Rumya track take off. Please give us more of that. The last scene was the 'ring ritual' and since then they have been standing outside the ring waiting to be called back in.
Sure, the show needs more dimensions and more tracks but not with a pregnant Tia walking around the Oberoi Mansion for the next 100 episodes while they drag their feet with Shivvay scratching his head as to when he did the act and Annika trying all things possible to get a paternity test. I have no issues with the pregnancy track if it is to bring out Tia's true character in 3-4 episodes so that all ShivIka obstacles are cleared for the marriage to be considered permanenet at least from Shivvay's P.O.V. It will clear Shivvay's and Pinky's prejudice about Tia's good character while Tia walks out with her threat to destroy ShivIka. All well and good because we need someone to replace Gayatri, Roop and Daksh. But if the next 20- 30 episodes is about the love story of Tia, Shivvay and Annika then it is a gross waste of time as we have Om and Rudra on hold again
