Hey guys. Thanks a lot for the amazing response. ❤️ A few people asked me to make this a two-shot so tried to continue this till Sumo confessed lol. I hope this is good and u guys likee it. Do leave ur feedbacks. Criticism is welcome too ;)

The Oberoi clan finally reached the wedding an hour after Rudra-Saumya came down with all the family members looking at their flushed faces suspiciously but with no time to ask further questions.

The wedding was held at Mr.Mehra's house who personally came to welcome them all at the door. Sumo looked around and was in awe at the wedding preparations.

"You know, I've always wanted a grand wedding like this" she told Prinku excitedly.

"Then we'll have to find a super-rich husband for you but then haven't you already found one for yourself?" winked Prinku.

What are you talking about?" Sumo said looking at her wide-eyed which made Prinku burst out laughing, "Do you think I don't know what's happening between you and Rudra bhaiyya?"

Prinku looked at her knowingly and continued, "You and Bhaiya seriously think I'm THAT dumb. I might be a bit slow but I'm definitely not stupid. He gives me a lehenga and tells me Dadi gave it to him and expects me to believe it when Dadi herself told me to buy a lehenga for you which I was on my way to buying but he handed this to me."

Sumo looking confusedly down at her lehenga. Prinku smiled, "Bhaiya got this for you for the wedding. Must say it was a pretty good choice." She winked again while Sumo blushed.

They stopped talking when the rituals of the wedding began. Sumo looked at the couple with a wide grin on her face, memories of her wedding with Rudra overtaking her.

She didn't realise when Rudra had come and stood beside her.

"Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Sumo asked him her eyes still plastered to the beautiful couple.

"I am thinking that you looked more ravishing at our wedding. Are you also thinking that?" Rudra answered. She looked at him to see he was staring at her intently but she controlled herself from getting lost in his eyes and raised her eyebrows making both of them laugh.

"You still didn't say" Rudra said.

"Say what?" Sumo said with a mischievous smile.

"Your reply to my confession of love"

"Confession of love? Seriously?"

"Yeah. Why? Doesn't it sound intense?" Rudra chuckled.

"Try cheesy. With extra cheese." Sumo wrinkled her nose.

Rudra snickered and before he could say anything, his father called him out to make him meet some of his friends.

"Duty calls" Rudra said with a yawn.

"Have fun" Sumo smiled.

After an hour of meeting high class people whom Dadi introduced her to, Sumo got bored and sat down at the nearby chair when Prinku called out to her, "Sumo! Dadi is calling you. Why are you here?"

"I'm tired and bored." Sumo said stifling a yawn.

"Already?" Prinku laughed.

Sumo was about to answer when she received a text from Rudra: Come to the terrace. Please. Sumo looked at Prinku panicking, "Rudra called me to the terrace. What do I do? I should say no. What if Dadi notices both of us gone?"

"Arey Sumo. Calm down" came a voice from behind. Sumo turned to see Anika Di coming towards her. "Go meet Rudra. I'll cover up for you both."

Sumo turned to look at her and looked at Prinku who raised up her shoulders to indicate she didn't know anything.

"Stop looking at Prinku. She didn't tell me anything. You and Rudra are so obvious, I won't be surprised if the whole family knows. The way you guys get lost in each other does make it pretty obvious, you know." giggled Anika.

"I've seriously got to stop staring at him like this." Sumo said shaking her head making both Prinku and Anika laugh.

"Now, go!!" Anika made her stand up pushing her towards the elevator. "My devar is waiting for you. I'll handle things here."

"You guys are the best!!" Sumo said while giving both of them a tight hug and running off to the terrace.

Rudra was at the terrace waiting for her looking at the stars and the moon that shone right at him. His mind wandered off to the day the moon shone the exact same during the Karwachauth festival. How he had unknowingly broken her fast both oblivious that they will one day get married to each other that too unknowingly and then fall madly in love again that too unknowingly. His thoughts were distracted from a voice beside him, "Why are you smiling so hard?"

Rudra turned to see Sumo standing beside him also looking at the stars. "You came. I was starting to think you would not show up." Rudra said with a smile.

"You called me. I had to come. Now tell me, why were you smiling" Sumo turned towards him.

"Nothing. Just thinking how destiny plays its plans in a way we can never imagine."

"Agreed." Sumo said with a slight nod.

Both of them got silent when suddenly Saumya asked, "Why me?"

"Huh?" Rudra looked at her confused.

"Why do you love me? From all the hot, pretty girls you dated, why did you end up falling in love with me? I don't even fit in with you or is anything like "those" girls. I am not like them.

Rudra stepped forward close to her, and took her hand in his, "Exactly. You're definitely not like them. You're special. You're way more. I wouldn't insult them by saying they didn't have a personality which they probably did but they were so obsessed with their looks, they didn't think anyone else would love them for what they are irrespective of how they looked. For God's sake, even I thought the same way. But you came, into my life, like a breath of fresh air. You challenged me in a way no one could or would. You made me realize there's much much more to someone than their looks which I did learn the hard way. You were so confident about yourself. You didn't care how you looked. You knew you were smart, independent and you trusted yourself, believed in yourself, your advices to other people out there as love angel. Everything."

Sumo looked at him teary-eyed, and Rudra took a deep breath and continued, "I don't even know how I started showing shades of my personality I hadn't showed anyone, not even my brothers, not even myself. The day I found out you were love angel, for the first time someone made me THAT angry. I started finding you cute and I kept drooling over you. Believe it or not, Reyaan made me look at you the way I had never seen before which was so shocking at first but then the more I knew you, the more the beauty inside of you reflected on the beauty outside and you just started looking and feeling angelic. When I look at you, talk to you, touch you, kiss you, I feel the way I never felt before. I feel complete. You make me feel complete. You make me feel worthy and I love you so much for that. More than anyone would, more than anyone could. It doesn't honestly matter to me if you don't say I love you to me back because your eyes show all the love you have for me and I swear, I couldn't have asked for more."

By the time he had finished, Sumo had tears rolling down her face. Rudra lifted his hand to wipe her tears off her cheek and Sumo wrapped her arms around his tightly surprising him for a second but he too wrapped his arms around her.

"I love you. I love you. I really really love you Rudra. I have said it. I will always say it." Sumo said tightening the hug.

Rudra broke out into a wide grin, "I love you too, Sumo"

He broke off the hug, both smiling like idiots.

"By the way, the lehenga is beautiful." Sumo said in a low whisper.

"Yeah it is." Rudra said nodding, suppressing his smile.

"C'mon. You can stop pretending. Prinku told me you got this for me. Couldn't you tell me?" Sumo hit him slightly on his arm.

"Ouch!" Rudra shouted massaging his arm. "How did she know? I told her Dadi had got it for you." Rudra thought loudly.

"Idiot. Dadi had told her to buy it." Sumo said.

Both got silent, then bursted out laughing.

"It's okay. At least you ended up wearing it and I also told you how you looked in it." Rudra laughed as Sumo blushed.

"Now both Prinku and Anika Di knows" Sumo whined.

"It's okay. They both can keep a secret." Rudra winked.

"I hope so" Sumo sighed.

Both got silent again when Rudra suddenly asked, "Do you want to dance?"

"Right now? Here?" Sumo looked at him confused.

"Yes."

"There is no music."

At that, Rudra took out his phone from his pocket and played a song.

"Now there is." Rudra said with a wink

Sumo smiled shaking her head as Rudra took her hand and placed it on his shoulder and put his hand on her waist pulling her closer to him as Sumo crashed against his chest. His other hand took her other hand and they swayed to the music.

Jo baadalon mein se guzre

They stared at each other intently, both their heartbeats matching each others. Rudra twirled Sumo around, and snaked his hand to meet her stomach while he leaned in to plant a kiss at her neck as Sumo closed her eyes. He turned her back again to face him.

Tu hoga zara paagal, tune mujhko hai chuna

"Tu hoga zara paagal, tune mujhko hai chuna" Rudra whispered along with the song looking at Sumo who had slided both her hands around his neck whereas his hands had slided around her waists. Sumo looked at him with tears in her eyes and as a tear fell, he leaned in to kiss her cheek. Sumo placed her head on his chest, both swaying to the music silently.

He took her head in hands making her look at him. His eyes darted to her lips and then to her eyes asking for permission. She closed her eyes indicating an invitation and as Rudra leaned in slowly to meet her lips, a voice called out, "Oops. Wrong timing."

They jumped off startled, standing away from each other and turned to see Anika Di standing behind smirking, "Arey wah. Shaadi neeche horae hai aur suhagraat upar?"

"Anika Di!" Sumo gasped both Rudra and Saumya turning a deep shade of red.

Anika bursted out laughing. "Sorry for interrupting your romantic moment but I can't cover up for you both anymore so please come down."

"Yes, coming." Sumo took a step forward but Rudra stopped her, "Wait! Anika Di, can you give us 2 minutes, please?"

Anika nodded and went down.

"I want to know you more. We got married and we're in love but before we let everyone know, I want to take you out on a date. If you say yes, ofcourse."

Before Sumo could answer, she got a text from Anika Di: Sumo please, Im unable to cover up anymore. :(

"It's Anika Di. I have to go" Sumo started to run off.

"Pehle jawab toh dedo!" Rudra called out

Sumo turned and looked at him shyly, "Yes."

She ran off while Rudra did a victory dance, straightened himself, and followed her down to the boring wedding.
